A vampire male walked in with a girl over his shoulder. "I hear you are the vampire that is also crazy enough to be a doctor." He said and dropped the girl on his shoulder. "She is sick and its making her blood taste nasty." He said.

Louis looked up from his desk, setting aside a few papers before he stood up and lifted the girl up onto his arms to look her over for a minute "her body is hot. way above the normal limits. . .how much blood have you been taking from her?" he asked and walked away to the nearby table to examine the girl further "you know that you can't just take as much blood as you want from a human body"

The vampire waved his hand, "As much as I want. She is no normal human. Just give her some human medicine and make this fever go down." Lily looked at Louis and panted a bit, "I.... I'm.... sorry..... I... am sick...." She said softly.

Louis watched and titled his head before glancing towards the vampire "If she truly isn't human, then I'll have to keep her here for observation. make sure the medicine I have will work for her." he said and looked down at the girl to take her hand in his "can you tell me your name, dear?" the doctor asked as he used the other hand to get a bottle of medicine from the nearby drawers

Lily took a breath, "Lily." She said softly. The vampire growled, "I have been through this with other doctors, give her the medicine and let me be on my way with my human. No tests, no nothing. She is lucky I am bringing her in, but the fever did not break after three days."

the vampire looked up and snarled at the man, his eyes turning an eerie red for a moment before he sighed and pushed his glasses back up "you should know better than to talk to me that way. I've helped you with many humans before over the centuries. do not start testing MY patience." he warned before looking back down to lily and giving her a bit of medicine to help with the aches he knew were rolling through the girl's body "let me do my job and leave my office. now"

The man glared at him then went to the door, "I will be back tomorrow for my property." He said before leaving. Lily looked at the door worried, "M-master..... He... he's... angry... at me..." She whimpered.

Louis's eyes grew heavy hearing the word but he smiled at the girl and lifted her up, heading through the clinic to lay her down on one of the nearby beds "he's angry at the situation. not you. . .and he's angry at me for telling him what to do" he chuckled and rubbed her head "my name is Dr. Saemon, but you can call me Louis" he nodded and set up an i.v drip to keep her hydrated

Lily whimpered a bit at the needle but relaxed, "Thank.... you... Dr. Saemon. Will I be.... well... by tomorrow?" She asked.

"it depends on how your body responds to the medicine" he nodded, rubbing her hair back tenderly before pulling a blanket up to keep her warm and walking around to pull out a cooling bad should she need it in the middle of the night ". . .do you truly want to go back to that man though? I can find you a safe place if you'd like"

Lily squirmed a bit feeling kindness from him. "He... is the only life I know..." She said softly her voice coming back from the IV drip. "I've been with him since I was a child...."

Louis closed his eyes hearing the bit of information before looking down, rubbing his forehead for a moment until he turned with another smile and walked over to set two tablets on the table beside her and a glass of water ". . . you don't have to live that life though. you never have to. if you ever need a place to come to, or want to stay, just let me know."

"which he can also get from any girl or boy he chooses from" Louis pointed out and shook his head, pulling a chair up to sit at the girl's bedside "you don't have to serve him. he'll be angry, sure, because he's the type of person who doesn't like being told NO but he will move on by finding another person to feed off of. that's the type of man that he is. . . has been for over 80 years" Louis chuckled and shrugged, leaning back against the chair softly

Lily looked at him and shook her head, "There was another man who wanted to get me away from him. A man named.... Carlio.... Master Fardo killed him as he was taking me from the house..." She said holding the blanket up to her chin.
