This new apartment was small, suffocatingly so. Breslin was terrified what would happen if there was another attack on the City. He had barely made it out the first time. Still though, this was all he could afford by himself that wasn't out in the rough part of the slums. Because of that he didn't spend much time in it. He had something more important to do anyway. He had to find his sister.

So most of his time was spent out on the streets, putting up posters and looking for her. He didn't know if he'd find her alive or dead... but it didn't matter. He just had to find out what happened to her. Her body hadn't been found in the wreckage around his old neighbourhood and it was eating him up inside, not knowing.

But he had to hold on to hope that she was alive out there somewhere, however minuscule it was. She could've gotten out. He had, after all, so why couldn't she have, right? It was possible. Improbable, but still possible.

He stapled another poster to a pole with a sigh. Still, 5 years was a long time. Maybe he should give up and move on. He couldn't though. He knew he would never stop looking. His brow furrowed as he lost himself in his own thoughts, not noticing someone was approaching.

Okay, she had been following this guy for a while now. Innocent looked down at the sheaf of posters in her hand, his posters. She didn't know who this guy was, but she knew an opportunity for a prank when it crossed her path. She'd been taking down the posters after he'd passed. Not all of them, she wasn't that much of a jerk, but about every other one he'd put up.

Now the guy, an older Audio, was spacing out in front of the last poster. Here was the perfect chance!

"Hey, Mister." she said, reaching up to poke him in the shoulder, holding the sheaf of posters out to him. "You left these."

The sound of someone else touching him nearly made Breslin jump out of his fur. Rubbing the back of his head, he tried quickly to recover from the startle and turned to face the speaker, really hoping they hadn't noticed. Jeez, when did he become so jumpy?

"Hm?" His gaze went to the stack of papers in her hands and his eyes widened. "What? Did I drop some? When? Where?" Distress clearly blossomed across his features as he reached for the posters in her hand. He really needed to start paying more attention!

Innocent just stared at him for a moment, trying to process just how dense this guy had to be. There was still tape stuck to some of them, for Bot's sake!

"Back there a ways." she said, vaguely throwing a thumb over her shoulder to point the way. She didn't bother to correct the guy's assumption. A prank wasn't a prank if you had to explain the darn thing to the victim. "I'd suggest putting em in a bag next time you decide to wallpaper the light poles."

Innocent rocked back and forth on her heels, looking at the last poster the guy had put up. She didn't recognize the face, but there had to be hundreds of missing persons posters all over the city. She'd never seen a one of those faces walking around.

"So, she your sister?" she asked.

He caught on to what had happened when she relinquished the posters over to him. The tape stuck to his fur and he frowned, looking up to glare at the young woman in front of him. What kind of monster would go around taking down missing posters?

Sneering a bit, he turned back to his task at hand, hoping that if he ignored her, she'd go away. He wasn't feeling particularly sociable right now. Every time he stepped out, something or someone had to remind him how damn awful this city was.

"Mm. Yeah." He shrugged noncommittally. "As best as I could draw her anyway." All of his photos had been destroyed with the rest of his apartment.

"You drew that?" Innocent exclaimed, taking another look at the picture. Damn, was it good! Innocent remembered herself, and threw a glance at the guy as she straightened up. There was just something embarrassing about being impressed by someone you tried to prank.

Still... Innocent's eyes slid to the poster again. Then back to the guy. She squared her back.

"Draw me!"

"...Draw you?" Was she really asking him to draw her? She'd just torn down half of his posters and she expected him to do something for her?

And without so much as a please or a thank you! The brats in this city today. Entitled, grubby, rude little brats. "Why should I draw you?"

He frowned, looking down at the young woman. Sure she was rude...and kind of mean...but she could've been someone's sister too. Breslin let out a sigh.
