A large warm area with plenty of nooks and crannies for things to be hidden in. The kitchens are a hub of activity. Make sure to stay out of the cook’s way as you search shelves, pots, cupboards and larders for eggs. Better hope there isn’t one being stashed in one of ovens that hasn’t been fired up yet. Eggs in this area: Four Egg 3 - Thaliawen Egg 5 - Shaddaling Egg 29 - Magnadearel Egg 30 - Dizzy_Kat

How To PlayA player can have as many characters in each area as they like, but each character can only be in one area at a time. To try and find an egg roll a ten sided dice, 9 or 10 is successful in finding an egg. Now you can gain bonuses by working together. If multiple players’ characters interact and are shown to be helping each other, each player gets +1 to their roll for every other player helping them. That’s player, not character. Players who have already found an egg can still roleplay helping others and give them bonuses, but cannot keep rolling for a second egg. If you are successful in your roll, pick which egg you would like from the top of the page and state it in your post. What your character does with the egg after finding it is up to them, they can return it to the fair or sneak off with it to keep it for themselves. Quote: ExamplesRocellia rolls a 5. Nobody wants to help her, so she doesn’t find an egg. Better luck next time. Dizzian rolls a 7. She’s being helped by R’yn and Ashlyn, which gives her +2, making her score 9. Way to go Dizzian, you found yourself an egg. K’gus rolls a 10 all by himself and wins an egg without any help from anyone. You show ‘em, K’gus. Rules- Each player can only win one egg per area - Only posts with roleplays will be counted - Do not make another roll if you have not filled in the roleplay of previous rolls. - Firelizards impress to the player that found the egg, they cannot be given to other characters or players - No pressuring or harassing other players - ICA = ICC - Have fun

When Ionan had heard that there were missing eggs, he'd rushed to look. He knew how his father's gold would feel, if her eggs had been stolen! He peered hopefullu into an empty klah mug. No egg here!

Lorend was amused by the prank. For sure the lizard wasn't, but she could see the humor in it. The teen wondered who had come up with such an idea, and how they had managed to get the eggs away from the gold. She'd compliment them if she knew. Foen, her blue, rode on her shoulder as she skirted around some cooks. It was plenty warm in here.
Oh check that pot mine! The green, watching (and helping) through her rider's eyes spotted a likely pot.

She lifted the lid on the indicated pot. Lorend and Foen peered inside. "Well?" She asked the blue. Assuredly a flit could spot a flit egg faster than she could. He gave a negative cheep after sticking his whole head in. She snickered and wondered if something tasty smelling had once been in the pot. A scold from a cook had her set the pot down and skirt along the ovens.
Tribleth waited eagerly to hear the results. There had to be an egg in that pot. She heaved a sigh as there was no egg. Keep looking! She said eagerly. Her's would find one to be sure.

Sorry Tribleth. Don't worry we'll find one. I got Foen with me. She patted the blue. There didn't seem to be any eggs resting beside the ovens. At least none that she wasn't sure weren't about to be used in a dish. Staying carefully away from the plain eggs the cooks were using, Lorend looked around for another hiding spot.
Let's check the mixing bowls, she kept up a commentary for the green who really wanted to be there to help look, but was really too large. She moved the bowls around as Foen peered inside each one.

The flit scampered off her shoulder to go snoop around the bowls higher up. Foen gave an excited cheep as he peered into a large bowl higher up on the shelf. He chittered down at his person.
Lorend grinned, I think he found something. She got a stool to reach the bowl, and pulled both bowl and flit down. Peering inside, a vibrant gold and red egg(egg 29) nested inside. "Good job!" We gots a cute gold egg Tribleth. She laughed as she heard the bugle from the green outside.

Z'ke and Aioth had heard of something stirring up excitement in the weyr and curiosity piqued, they decided to figure out what was up. Or rather, Z'ke did, while Aioth just listened to the constant stream of commentary from dragon and firelizard alike. An egg was just found in the kitchens. He relayed from outside.
Z'ke nodded and turned down the hallway that led to the enormous cavern that held the kitchens. "Ionan!" He grinned, not surprised at all to see the young child already in the thick of it. "Have you found any yet?"

"Z'ke!" Ionan momentarily forgot his search and ran up to hug the bluerider. "I'm looking, but no. Not yet. We'll find one, though!" He went back to his search, peering into the cupboards.

Z'ke returned Ionan's hug and clapped a hand on his back. "Sure we will." He agreed and with a quick thought, summoned his own gold firelizard Yoko. He caught her on his arm and took a moment to impress upon her their task. She chirped and fluttered up to the higher shelves the shorter boys couldnt reach "She'll help too."

Foen cheeped as he spotted more people, clearly not cooks cause cooks gave him good things to eat. He trilled in Lorend's ear.
"Oh?" She found a warm pot to tuck the egg into and held it in the crook of her arm. Lorend glanced over to the others. "We found one egg in the high bowls. Foen wants to help look for more." She nudged the flit who took off to hover near the rider and boy.

Ionan was delighted with the help that came fro,m both Z'ke and his firelizard, though the pretty gold was rather distracting. Every once in a while the eigt turn old would glance up at her on the pretense of looking around for an egg. On the third glance, he caught sight of a brightly colored object. A brightly colored oval object--an egg! He reached for it. "Z'ke, look what I found, look what I found!"

Yoko trilled delightly as Ionan spotted the egg she'd only just seen herself. Carefully she cradled it in her claws and brought it down to the boy's level. The little gold thrummed knowing she'd completed the task set to her.
Z'ke stroked her head and grinned, sending thoughts of praise and love to his pet. "Alright! Let's get it somewhere warm before it gets too cold!" He turned to Lorend and grinned. "Thanks for your help!" He might have stayed to look for one for himself, but Z'ke already had three firelizards of his own and really, between the gold Yoko, the green Terra, and his brown Dorado... well eggs weren't exactly in short supply if he really wanted them. (He chose to let most go wild, sometimes handing them out if one of his girls actually let him find a nest)

Lorend nodded and grinned as the young boy found an egg. "Good for you. I'm going to take mine back to its mother for proper keeping." She waved bye to the boy and rider.
