 Who hides an egg in an infirmary? The medicine cupboard looks like it could hide more than a few eggs, but good luck managing to get in there. How To PlayA player can have as many characters in each area as they like, but each character can only be in one area at a time. To try and find an egg roll a ten sided dice, 9 or 10 is successful in finding an egg. Now you can gain bonuses by working together. If multiple players’ characters interact and are shown to be helping each other, each player gets +1 to their roll for every other player helping them. That’s player, not character. Players who have already found an egg can still roleplay helping others and give them bonuses, but cannot keep rolling for a second egg. If you are successful in your roll, pick which egg you would like from the top of the page and state it in your post. What your character does with the egg after finding it is up to them, they can return it to the fair or sneak off with it to keep it for themselves. Quote: ExamplesRocellia rolls a 5. Nobody wants to help her, so she doesn’t find an egg. Better luck next time. Dizzian rolls a 7. She’s being helped by R’yn and Ashlyn, which gives her +2, making her score 9. Way to go Dizzian, you found yourself an egg. K’gus rolls a 10 all by himself and wins an egg without any help from anyone. You show ‘em, K’gus. - Each player can only win one egg per area - Only posts with roleplays will be counted - Do not make another roll if you have not filled in the roleplay of previous rolls. - Firelizards impress to the player that found the egg, they cannot be given to other characters or players - No pressuring or harassing other players - ICA = ICC - Have fun

Well where else would you find a healer? Cai was already in a wonderful mood that morning. There had been some ruckus earlier with a handful of children running about the infirmary for faranth knows what reason. He, and the other journeymen finally managed to chase them out but the damage to the energy had been done.
Genith lay curled on one of the unused cots while his bonded cleaned up a supply cart that had been spilled in the chaos. Will have to get a fresh set of needlethorn for this one. These are ruined. He wrote them down on a chart beside him. He was keeping tabs on everything ruined by those children and you could be sure that that list would find it's way to the right people to ensure those idiots were punished (and his supplies restocked!)

"It's tempting to lock up those doors and only let someone who's missing a limb, or scored to between and back past." Cai grumbled as he picked up a basket of once rolled bandages. "These will have to be boiled before we can use them. If I catch those kids I'm throwing them in the cooking vats next time we're making numbweed!"
Genith nodded solemnly, but his eyes and mind whirled with amusement. It was enough to break a smile free from the over-tired healer. Cai reached out and quickly caressed Genith's head before going back to work. He would be good for him, whether Cai admited it or not.

Genith lifted his head from the cot and tilted it curiously. Seems like those kids were hiding eggs around the weyr?
"Eggs? And the point of that would be?" Cai frowned and Genith just shrugged. Cai rolled his eyes and stood from the restored cart. "Might as well find them. If they stay they'll just rot and stink up the place."
Won't a drudge find them? Genith shook himself and hopped to the floor. I will help you look.
"I don't want to risk it. I doubt they do as good a job as they're supposed to."

Genith didn't need to be told what to do and he immediately began searching the 'low ground' sticking his nose beneath the cots, the carts of supplies, and gently proding suspicious lumps in any bedsheets or bandage baskets he saw.
Cai left the baby blue to his task, as he searched higher up among the shelves and filing drawers.

Supply closet?
"Supply closet." Cai agreed. So far they hadn't found anything but that was no indication that there was nothing to find. Lo and behold, their combined instincts were correct. Tucked within the supply closet, Cai saw a bright glint of something that didn't belong. He grabbed it, surprised by it's warmth and brought it into the light. "Shells! That's a firelizard egg!" Cai resisted the urge to ball his hands into fists and instead cradled the egg gently. It was covered in paint.
"Those horrible little tunnelsnakes!" A living firelizard egg had been left to die in HIS infirmary! He glanced around and as no one was around, lifted the lower hem of his shirt just enough to place his palm containing the small egg against his stomach. "We need to find somewhere warm to keep this if it hasn't already died."
Genith nodded and what had been a somewhat casual game, was not all business. His wanted this egg to live and they would see it done. The kitchens are warm. He suggested.
Cai grimaced but agreed. They could get a warm pot there. There was just a lot of people. Tugging his shirt down to make sure his stomach was covered he nodded to Genith and the two left the Infirmary.

As soon as she heard eggs being hidden around the Weyr, Aila headed straight for the infirmary. She was, admittedly, a little concerned about the flitt mother and her babies, but she was more concerned about making sure nothing was missing and everything had been left where it was supposed to be. She'd heard one egg was already found in the infirmary, and that's what really ticked her off. How did anyone even get in the infirmary to hide it? They needed better security. What if they broke something? Or moved something?
I don't like people moving my things. she complained to Tanzith as she started checking the shelves, making sure everything was exactly where she remembered it.

"Why is he in the barracks?" Jemi asked, peering into the infirmary on a whim that one of the fellow werylings would be there. She strolled in, looking about.

Well Cai wasn't here, she had seen him when she left the kitchen. She glanced around, searching for Becka and rolled her shoulders. She poked about, interested in what could be hiding in the infirmary.

She shook her head, continuing to poke about.

Jemi laughed, finding a third egg, this one printed with flowers and held the second egg she found, red and spotted side by side.
Irith snorted She replied and flickered her mind towards Wyleth and back.
Jemi left for the common room.

((Rolling for T'nus. Going to start alternating because it's more fun and I don't care who get it! xD ))
The problem with these eggs, besides the theives messing her stuff up, was that they were attracting an undue amount of attention into the infirmary. People who thought they could just rummage through her shelves willy nilly. Well.. she supposed it was better that they find the eggs now before they started to stink up the place. Or worse- hatched!
"Is everything alright in here?" T'nus asked, seeing the commotion as he entered the infirmary.
"No. But what can I do for you?" Aila asked.
"Just an old shoulder injury check-up. It can wait." he said.
"Good, then you can help me look for flitt eggs!" she said.

Having given up on the kitchen, Navi asked Blessing to find his father and decided to look there. So, following her lead, he arrived in the infirmary, where T'nus and several healers were already deep in the search. Navi ran over and hugged his legs. "I've been looking for flitt eggs!" he told him. "I haven't found any yet, though. Can I help you look?"
"Be careful!" Aila told him. She pointed to the infirmary beds. "Weyrbrats search over there." she said. "Where they can't break anything.." she muttered.
Eagerly, Navi went over the the beds, starting off by crawling underneath them.

Nothing under the beds.. Navi got up and started searching under the covers. He had to stand on his toes to reach all the way in, but he put a hand under the bed furs of the first bed and began gently feeling around for something egg shaped. Ooh! something hard! No wait.. that was a jar of numb weed. He carefully lay that to the side and kept searching. Finally, his hand touched something round and smooth. This time he was sure of it! An egg!
He pulled Egg 23 out from under the covers, and ran over to his dad immdiately. "Look, look! I found one"
T'nus bent down and ruffled his hair. "Good boy. Now you know where to take that?" he asked him, and even though Navi nodded profusely, he figured he'd better go along, just to make sure he didn't get distracted on the way.
"Good luck, the rest of you!" he said, waving to the remaining healers.
