What do you remember about the hero of old? A hero reborn! The Fleeing was a time of great conflict and sorrow for our people, but also great hope; when we first settled in our lands beyond the mists and mysteries of the oceans. We arrived in scattered clans, so many of us, scared, fearful; not at all prepared to be smartly organized. It was a lawless, uncivilised time to be a unicorn.
Unthinkably, there were conflicts between us, disputes over territory and mating- it seemed that we would bring our troubles from beyond with us; that we had not outrun any past sorrow at all. We had lost our peace and had yet to work out how we could regain it. Then Tide Breaker, the Speaker found us and gave corns their first touch of hope. He separated the two conflicting clans so that they could not quarrel, and led us to the Felahad forest; through the deserts and the strange lands, the Speaker lead us to our future home; go look at the first crystal tree and see the image of his proud coat etched into those walls as our earliest celebrations. It was his great quest across this magical land that gave us our inspiration to settle as we needed.
There are heroes who fight and roar a challenge into the night, who we call brave, and there are heroes who quietly suggest we seek our fortune, and Tide Breaker was an example to all our people of that way. Perhaps his wisdom is needed again.
