Energy fishing. Again.
The cat-girl was getting lazier, and tonight she couldn't even be bothered to get up and wander as she laid on top of a picnic table in the park. Her overlay draped down to the grass and tail swished behind her absentmindedly as she let out a lout groan of anguish.
She hadn't been projecting the massive aura for too long, but she was starting to get bored.
Bored enough to grab one of her mirrorseed trinkets from subspace and start nudging it across the table planks between two of her fingers, honestly and truly wondering if the mirrorcoating would react to annoyance as badly as it did when she attempted to interact with the reflective surface with mirror magic.

Natron was well aware that he absolutely should not be out patrolling. The General was anyway, trying to ignore the pain and pretend that he wasn't sort of limping. It was deeply foolish to do this, and he knew it, but he was going to try anyway. He could always retreat if he ended up actually in danger.
But so far, he was hoping not - especially when he felt a very strong, very strange energy signature. It almost felt like the Dark Mirror, or maybe Order - but really, in the end, it felt like neither, and he found himself approaching out of sheer curiosity. He desummoned his weapon as a gesture of good will when he was closer, and when he found the source, it was an effort not to stare.
He'd never really encountered a Guardian in cat-person form before, so this was absolutely new to him.
"Um, good evening." He greeted, a small effort to get her attention.

Normally when generals appeared, Zee found herself stuck in an awkward social stance of trying to figure out if they were the attack on sight types or friendly enough to at least converse without accusing them of one or the other and incurring some sort of wrath.
Natron's greeting seemed to give him away, though, at least for now. He sounded friendly enough.
"Hello!" She chirped, sitting up and tossing the mirrorseed she was batting around and catching it. "You look famili--"
There was a sudden pause and it looked like a total mental shut down and reboot as she tried to play the key elements of his uniform and eventually wound back to Painite's lieutenant who tried to inform her in civilian form the streets weren't safe at night.
"Aw, Natron, you're all grown up."

Natron stopped, and then squinted hard at the girl on the table. She knew his name, but he definitely didn't recognize her - and so he crossed his arms, running through his memory to try to figure out who she could be.
"Do I...know you?" He asked, feeling a little guilty for forgetting, since he apparently had. He definitely knew that what she was holding was a starseed, and a strange one - so possibly someone Chaos, since why would Order have a starseed, though her aura didn't quite feel like either.
"I'm sorry if we've met and I forgot."

“No, I don’t suppose we have. You're fine,” Was the flighty answer Natron got with a flippant handwave to boot. She tossed a few prim and pristine ringlets over her shoulder and flashed him a crooked smile that just dripped in facetious enjoyment. She was toying, and it was obvious.
“I’m Zirconia, the mirror guardian. What do you know about these?” She asked, holding out the starseed shaped thing in her hands. It didn’t glow, but appeared to be made of small mirror-plates instead of the glassy exteriors containing little lights of energy normal starseeds did.

Natron crossed his arms. Alright, this was incredibly confusing, but he'd put it aside for now. "Mirror guardian? Are you with the Court?" He asked, and then he moved to look at the starseed she was holding.
"Well, it's a starseed, which means it came out of someone - but it doesn't look anything like what I'm used to seeing. Where'd it come from?" With the mirrored outside, part of him was pretty sure he knew, but he didn't want to think too hard about dead Dark Mirrors, killed by a Negaverse officer.

"No, sweetie, I'm the mirror guardian, servant of the Black Moon queen who rules Ares. The. Mirror," She emphasized, sounding like a teacher trying to go over spelling words.
"Is it? Or does it just look like one? It doesn't have any light."
She tossed it from one hand to the other. "Bischofite. Or maybe Wolframite? I can't keep track of who pulled what, maybe I should mark them with labels."
"Oh, unless you meant who it came from. Dark Mirror senshilings."

Natron opened his mouth to ask for more of an explanation, then closed it. Nope, pushing for more details about what she meant was only going to confuse him more and he knew it, he'd ask someone in the Court later because hopefully one of them would know.
His heart dropped to hear her explanation. Yes, it was what he'd thought, and he supposed neither of those names as a possibility should surprise him. Bischofite was crazy, and he'd seen Wolframite's hatred for the Mirror with his own eyes.
"I...don't think I've ever seen a Dark Mirror starseed before," he admitted. He certainly hadn't been close enough to get a good look at Leto's when it was pulled, and he hoped to never have occasion to pull one himself.
