Little Miss Shiny Shiny paused, glancing briefly towards the cloaked 3rd year before returning her luminous gaze to Ari, "I have been...diminished, but I think things might have just taken a rather hopeful turn." Noticing the way Ari was looking at her, she took a moment to peel off one of her gloves before holding her hand out for the elf to take. If she was reading energy or auras as Shiny suspected, she'd get quite a bit more info than she probably expected by taking her hand. Arillena Ari was about to ask what Shiny meant, but kept silent as she held out her hand. The elf stood up and gently took it in her own. The ceiling lights from the Music room Reflected in the Opalescent skin. Upon contact The Light Ari had always sensed around Shiny explained itself, Her soul... no, her entire being... It's all Light. Radiant starlight. But... wait... The Light was faltering, and it was definitely weaker than it should be. "What happened?" The elf Whispered. Occult Nekozawa Nekozawa kept a silent watch as Ari Took Shiny's hand. He remembered how hesitant the Star was to show him earlier.. Perhaps The elf's energy was better at calming Shiny's fears. Reminded of his prior theory he began to move backwards. The contradicting Light and Dark here was not at all helpful at present. He looked at Belzenef, who had been oddly quiet through this whole interaction. The puppet was lost in thought... or so it seemed.

"It would appear that this form was only meant to be temporary." The answer spoken softly in reply to Ari's breathless question. "And it is... draining me, to maintain it." She glanced over at Nekozawa, a silent communication of gratitude that he had, indeed, continued to search out something to help her. Even if he had known she'd be outside the doors, he'd found someone for her who might, just maybe, be able to help.

I see... Her current form is Artificial. That would explain the odd feeling from before... The disguised Faye-girl looked up and glanced around. Nekozawa appeared to be moving backwards. His own aura shifting slightly. She looked behind Shiny and at the door to the Music room. "Perhaps this is not a good place to discuss this." She spoke at last, Her usual perky voice faded to a much more tone. "If you are able, perhaps we could take a walk while you tell me when this began?" Ari Turned to Nekozawa. Though his hood covered his face she could read his expression clearly. "I see... Umehito, you feel as though your presence is a threat to Her condition." She whispered. Even though it wasn't a question she looked at him expectantly. "My own understanding is somewhat limited to yours. Your help may still be needed."

In her enthusiasm Shiny had managed to forget where she was, and with a start realized that she'd actually been moments away from spilling it all right in the middle of the music room. Granted, they were entirely alone, but anyone could have walked in at any time. "Ah, yes, thank you. We should... find somewhere else to talk." Looking appropriately sheepish Shiny turned towards the door, only then noticing that Nekozawa had been backing away. It brought a faint frown to her features - she really did like the boy, he was so sweet. "Perhaps if we walk with Ari between us?" Then the elf could act as a buffer of sorts, in case his concern was indeed a valid one.

Nekozawa looked from Ari to Shiny. he was slightly shocked that they hadn't cast him out of the situation immediately. The Dark Prince wasn't sure what help he could offer but... He nodded and stepped forward again. Thinking almost the same thing as The Star. Arillena had been able to silence Belzenef with her Playing of his dark melody. She may be able to balance the Dark and Light between them until a proper resolution is reached. "Very well, I will continue to assist the best I can." He moved to follow them.

The elf began walking along side of Shiny with Nekozawa on the other side of her, he may have been a step or too behind. His Footsteps were almost soundless, but she could still sense him following. Checking to make sure they weren't being overheard she whispered, "When did this begin?" she asked. "And is the problem directly from the draining of your energy?" She was careful at her wording, but the elf had so many questions that needed answers. Ari knew next to nothing on the Making of Artificial bodies for Stars, But it was evident that if nothing was done soon, Shiny's existence may be in danger.

That's... a bit hard to say, really. The form is a little over two years old at this point, though it wasn't until a few months ago that I really started noticing any, ah... drain." She was also trying to keep her voice down, and her words somewhat vague, as she steered the three of them towards the hedge maze. That bench in the farthest corner was still the most private place on campus that she knew of. "There are certain... innate abilities, that stopped happening. It was Nekozawa who suggested that this was due to something draining me, and the form was the most likely cause of it."

His footsteps, if they could be heard, were slightly off beat with the two inhuman females before him. He kept his voice to a low whisper as they approached the hedge maze. Umehito recalled it being the same place he and Shiny met at the beginning of this situation.
The drop in tone of the Elf-like girls voice didn't slip past the Dark Prince. It still sounded like her, but something was slightly off... He didn't know whether to be impressed with her maturity or troubled... He glanced at her shadow, which was slightly disappearing as the sun set. Next to The star's shadow, it seemed to shift independently... Nekozawa split his attention on it... just in case

Had she not have been concentrating the Fae would have noted this spot as a place to go when her mind refused to be at ease. Ari had to take into consideration that Nekozawa must have spoken to Shiny before. They must not have been able to come up with a solution... And Umehito fears he will make her condition worse... Hm... "Two years... and recently your abilities have been failing you?" She repeated. The elf sensed no other nearby presence so her questions became more direct. "This does sound troubling..." Arillena closed her eyes and visualized their three souls... Nekozawa's lingered like a shadow without a body. Her own remained in it's closed, disguised form, like a butterfly in a Glass bottle. And Shiny's Naturally out-shined both in their current forms, but like a candle threatening to go out- it flickered to and fro. Ari thought for a moment. A fallen star is loosing her power... "Is there no way you know of to recharge your light?" She asked looking from Shiny to Nekozawa. She feared they had already discussed this, but it would be best to know of what had already been ruled out.

Shiny began to relax a bit as they entered the maze and began to navigate it, unerringly heading straight for the far corner and the little bench tucked away there. "However I made at least one error while doing so, which you can see in my, ah... skin condition. It should have looked normal, yet came out... shiny." She shrugged a bit helplessly, "It could be that the errors I made are the reason why this form is draining me. Unfortunately, at this time I do not have enough light to be able to make another; it was a very resource-consuming process, and there is no guarantee I'd be able to make a new one in the same likeness, either." Upon reaching the bench she sagged down onto it, once again feeling the weight of her dilemma. At least this time, however, she had more hope that help was here and a solution might be found. "One theory we discussed was the possibility of the nexus points between this world and the Court of Light holding residual energy that I could siphon. I recently visited one of the sites and found very little to help in that regard. Other ideas were a talisman of some kind that could be used as a battery, or a modified form of rejuvenation magic could be applied."

The faint look of hopelessness the flashed across Shiny's face made him wish he could do more to help her. He almost went as far as to approach her and pat her shoulder reassuringly... But he stayed put, fearing that his presence would ultimately worsen her condition the closer they were. He glanced at Arillena, who appeared to be in deep thought. Umehito wondered what exactly a Faerie could do in regards to illuminating a darkened spirit...
'Well isn't that why you brought her into this mess?' The once Motionless Puppet meowed silently. 'Surely there must be something the fricken butterfly can do so we can all go home and pretend this never happened.' Umehito ignored that last mental comment and turned to the elf-like girl. "Miss Arillena, My knowledge of your kind and their abilities is limited; as most of what I know is likely to be highly inaccurate." He paused. "Please, Is there something you know of that could replenish the fading light within Shiny's spirit?" The Darkness that echoed in his voice was gone. Belzenef glanced at him worriedly. But Umehito took no notice, He lifted his head far enough for the girls to see his face from behind the black strands of his wig.

I assumed she chose this because of my ability to see and potentially affect the Aura, light and dark, of those around me." She felt the her butterfly shaped soul bat around its glass seal. "Maybe if I..." No, no, There's no guarantee that it will have any effect. She thought shaking her head. Ari looked up at Shiny's Face. Even though her inner powers of light were fading and on her face held a mix of hope and hopelessness, she was still radiant. The elf glanced at Nekozawa, even his eyes were bright. The elf took a deep breath. "They may be something that I can attempt... Though I'm not sure what will happen..."

His desire to help was so palpable Shiny could have sworn that if she reached out towards him right now, she'd be able to touch it. She smiled in gratitude, then winked to let him know everything would be all right. It was just a matter of figuring out how... "Faerie of Colors? What an intriguing title." Her attention turning back to Ari now. She knew that for most of the fey races, titles held great meaning and power. Knowing also that an aura tended to be visible as a spectrum of color made the title a curiously potent one, indeed. "There is? What is it? What are the risks involved? I do not wish you, or anyone else, to do anything dangerous to themselves, I do not think I could bear it if my quest caused harm to another." She bit her lip, fiercely resisting the urge to squirm in nervous excitement.

Her attention turning back to Ari now. The Faerie of Colors... interesting.. The Prince Of Darkness wondered how much Arillena knew about her kind. She had used the term, assumed, as if she were guessing. He silently made a reminder in his head to ask her when everything was taken care of. Umehito watched carefully as Arillena indirectly offered an idea. Her hesitation could have meant one of two things... She was unsure about the plan due to not attempting it before or The idea was dangerous. He glanced at The Fae's shadow, which had appeared to halt its movement.
Nekozawa saw the hope gleam in Shiny's eyes, perhaps the same gleam sparkled in his, but he would never know. Nekozawa nodded as Shiny asked her questions. He stayed patiently silent as they waited for the elf-like girl to reply.

Little Miss Shiny Though her own abilities were greatly diminished, even the fallen star noticed the brief change in Nekozawa. His desire to help was so palpable Shiny could have sworn that if she reached out towards him right now, she'd be able to touch it. She smiled in gratitude, then winked to let him know everything would be all right. It was just a matter of figuring out how... "Faerie of Colors? What an intriguing title." The Prince Of Darkness wondered how much Arillena knew about her kind.
Ari considered her thought... It might just work... "Well, I have come to discover that I can... sort of match the auric wavelengths of other living beings, while simultaneously being able to heal and restore." She explained, her voice remaining calm- but bouncing back to its more familiar tone. "I've only ever used this with wilting plants and a few injured animals. Which is why I didn't think about earlier..." That... and... The only risks are the probability of the effect reversing onto me or the other side... Which had only happened a few times with some plants. The connection left Ari feeling drained and extremely dehydrated. Finishing her thought out loud she says, "...But, I always attempted those connections without unsealing my inner abilities so maybe..."She looked from Shiny to Nekozawa as if asking for their approval of her idea. "I may be able to accurately connect with Shiny's Fading Energy and restore it by matching my own. It is similar to the way that I linked with Belzenef earlier.. with my harp. Only this time I wouldn't be holding my Power within me..." She paused. "Doing this will also remove the magic I have sealing my other Fairy-like traits. We would have to be sure that No one would see me." She added quickly.
