Freya had spent the day after their graduation dungeon buying balloons and streamers. and decorating Kettil's room with them. She filled up over two hundred balloons with helium, and then papered the walls with dozens of streamers. The entire room looked like a rainbow had thrown up in it.

But it was worth it.

Dance music blared from her scareo. Her dorm room door was wide open. And she'd gone up to the rooms of her closest graduated friends who still lived in the reaper dorms, and bashed their doors with her fist until they opened up. But when she did so, she had come to a sad, almost painful conclusion.

Almost everyone had moved out already.

The only person whose door opened was Shun, and he hadn't been happy to see her, anyway.

She trudged back down to her room after inviting him and Mitsu over, flopped on the floor face down, and laid there.

"EVERYBODY IS GOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE." She yelled into the floor.

Kettil was being helpful. Freya just didn't want to be helped. So she groaned, and covered her head with her wings.

"But what if they says no, what if they don't answer, what if they're too busy because everyones is already startings their lives and nobody wants to come back here and celebrates and and -

A low, long groan of defeat left her.

"UUUUUUUUUGH."

She rolled over, and stared up at him for a few seconds, before her head tilted in a nod. "Okays. Yeh don't tells me what happens." As long as Kettil took care of it, without telling her the outcome, she didn't have to feel rejected.

She rolled over again, and pushed herself off of the floor. "Food hah?" Sufficiently distracted with the notion of Kettil's creations, she toddled over into the kitchen and disappeared.

Indeed, Shun wasn't thrilled to have Freya nearly bashing in his door when she was doing her rounds around the reaper dorms. Soon after he received the invite, he let out a sigh to contact Mitsu. If she wanted to come to this thing, he would go along.

But he was hardly one for parties.

Kettil heard Xiu's voice and quickly wandered out of the kitchen after lightly whining at Freya. The door opened to reveal the Baku, "XIU~ HIIIII." He almost hugged her but saw she had things in her arms. Thankfully commonsense was something he gained during his schooling. Instead he took her gently by the arm and started to lead her in and toward the kitchen, "Come on in! You can help us do cupcake things and set the food up and hug Freya. She reallyreallyreally needs it. Maybe if we hug her together it'll make her happy again."

He was deadly serious about this. It showed in his eyes.

"How have you been? You doing okay? I haven't seen you in forever." He just chattered with her as if he still knew her forever. He was also appreciative that she came to the party - it meant that she loved them.

Ren barged into the room carrying about six bags of spookies and a ridiculously goofy party hat on his head.

"DID SOMEONE SAY PARTY"

Shun was still a little leery of Mitsu's cooking still, but she did improve. He still won't touch any cookies of anyone's, however. After Mitsu hung up, he grabbed his coat and eyepatch, then made his way on for the location of the party.

He hoped he wasn't going to regret this.

Just outside the door, he took note that there was a small crowd gathering now. Slowly, he approached them.

"....Graduation celebration?" he asked carefully.

For a good few minutes, Hel was probably contending for Halloween’s title of ‘worst sister ever’. She was in HalloweenTown, walking through her guild hall which was almost completed, when she got the text. Kettil and Freya finally graduated? Oh, Jack. That almost seemed like it’d never happen…but wait? Come celebrate with them?

Hel himmed and hawed, and almost wasn’t even going to bother…but then guilt shoved a boot up her a**, along with a reminder of what her and Freya had come from, and how far they had come. That had Hel thinking. They had come a really long way, here at Amityville, and now they had both gotten through it…things had really, really, really changed…

She’d be a good sister.

That’s why Hel was a bit slower to come. She was right behind Mitsu, and slung a dark arm around the Lycan’s neck in a friendly gesture, squishing the ghoul affectionately against her as she waved a large wrapped ham on a bone in the air with another.

“OI!” She cried at the small gaggle which had gathered at the door. “Get your asses in there! I did not come here to stand in the hall!” All was said in good nature, luckily.
