Rules
Below are the rules of the Tournament to be followed at all times. Remember though that rules are subject to change as needed so please keep aware of the rules at hand.
1. As in the Academy there will be
NO God-Moding.
God-Moding will be determined by the two officiating judges of the Tournament. Those judges being the Moderators Sky-dron and Thanatos. They will monitor each fight closely and will rule what they consider to be God-Moding.
If a combatant is determined to be God-Moding, then that combatant will be given a warning by the judge and have to edit their post before the match can continue. Excessive God-Moding will result in a forfeiture of that combatant and an automatic loss.
2. Combatants will fight using only their main element that they have listed for the Tournament.
A combatant that is caught by the judges using an element other than the one they have chosen to fight with will be given a warning and will have to edit their previous post before the match will continue. Excessive use of another element will result in a forfeiture of the match and an automatic loss.
3. Combatants will fight using Turn Based Logic style fighting.
This style of fighting is similar to the T1 style of fighting only that it is using logic to determine the outcome of the attacks and defends. If it doesn't work logically then it probably won't work.
4. Combatants must post their posts in a reasonable time limit for the match to continue. In such, a match between combatants must not take too long of a time to determine a winner.
The judges will determine when a reasonable amount of time has passed between posts for the fight to either continue or based upon the fight so far for a winner to be determined. There will not be any fights that last for a very long time.
5. Higher ranked combatants; i.e. Gods, Head Masters, Masters, etc., will fight using limiters that will not be removed.
This will limit the use of power of one's element down to the lowest entrants, aka the Students. This will not, however, limit one's skill as it only limits the power of the element being used. Limiters will be worn on the wrist with a special seal that will be broken once their time in the tournament has ended.
6. Coinciding with the fighting rule, there will be no killing of a character without prior approval of that character's player.
A win of a match will be when one character is not physically able to go on in the match or when a character gives up in a match.
Physically not being able to go in a match is defined as a character being knocked out, unable to move their body in a way to defend themselves or attack including dismemberment, or if a character is killed in combat. This can also include a character being trapped for an extended amount of time to constitute a victory for the other character.
7. Remember to have fun and fight fairly and respectfully.
