Honestly? This case was starting to drive Sam a little mad. Not in the loony bin way, but in the sense that he couldn't figure it out. They didn't know who or what was taking the children. He wanted the children home safe, but he mostly wanted to kill this thing. Wants to kill it and know it won't come back. They just got done talking to the latest upset parents over their missing child. "Well, I'm out of ideas, unless you have any." He told his brother. He sat back in the chair in the hotel room they were renting and sighed. "Everyone whose seen this thing this, hag, claims she flew off into the sky." He said. "What steals kids and flies?" He asked Dean while he watched him. Searching on the internet was bringing them no where closer to the answer. "Who should call Bobby?" He asked him. It ended up Sam would call Bobby, and Dean would call for Cas. One of them had to know the answer. So he dialed up Bobby, told him everything they knew. Cas didn't always come the second he was called, but Sam could understand why. Trying to restore balance in heaven must be hard for one angel. As long as the angels don't stop them from hunting, he honestly doesn't really care what happens with them. He called for Cas hundreds of times and he never came. Cas came for Dean. So Bobby offered some ideas, ideas Sam and Dean already thought of and ruled out. So, Bobby hung up to do some research.

After about a half hour Bobby called back, around the same time Cas showed up. Bobby told them what it was, and what they needed to expose the old woman. A plant called Middlemist Red. Something that is very hard to find. So, Cas helped them by bringing them the plant. So Sam and Dean went by to work while Cas went back to heaven. Didn't take them long to find the Baba Yaga posing as the young woman Dean took an interest in, not that him taking an interest in a beautiful woman is a big shocker. So, they dealt with her and the children still living were returned home. Another case done, another freak killed. Took them longer than they should have spent on a case. So as they were driving off to the next town, Bobby called. Sam munched on the fast food sandwich he got from the drive thru they just left while Dean talked to Bobby. And the next thing he knew, Dean was turning around and heading in the opposite direction. "Dean, what the hell?" He asked staring at him.

werewolf come in and attack macie & her mom
Bringing the groceries in from the car Macie smiled to her mom. "Spaghetti night!" She called out in a singsong voice. She loves spaghetti. It just happens to be her favorite meal. She set the bag she brought in on the counter and began to unpack it. Her mother gave her a smile as she set the next bag down. "Hey, when do you think dad will visit again?" She called out as her mother headed back outside to grab the last bag. She waited for her mother to respond only to jump when she heard shots ring out. She ran towards the door, only for ehr mother to run in and slam the door, holding a gun Macie didn't even know she owned. "What's-"

Her mother yanked an envelope out of the drawer in the little table by the door. An envelope Macie hasn't seen before. She shoved it down the front pocket of Macie's pants to hide it. "Hide, now!" She ordered and Macie didn't know what to do. She didn't know what was going on. Her mother gave her a look. "HIDE!" Her mother yelled, and as Macie turned to run, the front door burst open. Macie let out a scream, but her mother just shot at whoever it was. She hid behind the counter and held her hands over her ears while her mother continued to shoot the gun. When it stopped, she uncovered her ears and peaked around the counter. And sure enough there was a man standing there choking her mother. She let out a whimper, but was too scared to move. Too afraid of moving to run and help her mother. She didn't know who that was, why the fifty million shots her mother seemed to have shot didn't bring him down. She didn't even know what he was.

"Oh Vivian..." Macie didn't know who Vivian was, but she was getting a feeling it was her mother as the man went on. "You couldn't hide form me forever." He told her, giving her a smile. "Now it's time for me to return the favor your gifted me twenty years ago." He chuckled. "You killed my family. All of them. Even the children..." He didn't sound mad, or angry.

"The children were monsters." Her mother struggled out.

That seemed to anger him as he held her throat tighter and his lips pressed into a firm line. "I got to listen to them all die, watch as you killed several of them..." He smiled then. "But I'm not going to kill your daughter in front of you. No, you're going to die, not knowing how painful, slow, or unbearable I made her death. You won't know how long she suffers for..." Her mother met her eyes before the man simply snapped her neck and let her fall. Macie let out a scream then and covered her mouth. She turned away from the scene and leaned her back against the counter, keeping her mouth covered as she cried. She wasn't paying attention to anything then. She just watched that man kill her mother. She didn't know what happened, or that the man had been killed. But she knows she did scream when someone touched her. She freaked a little and tried to get away, only to realize no one was holding her down or hurting her. She actually looked to find a woman. She didn't know who this woman was, but she seemed to be telling her it was okay. Macie hugged her, and she hugged her hard.

Macie wasn't sure how long she hugged her, but when the woman started talking to her, she was introduced as Lauren. Her mother's name. Or, what she thought was her mother's name. She was asked if she had a place to go, someone to stay with. She didn't know how to get a hold of her father, so she pulled the envelope form her pocket and looked at it. On the front it said to go to Bobby Singer should there be trouble. Even offered an address. She knew it was her father's handwriting, since she got letters from him occasionally when he couldn't stop by. but it was always a letter attached to a postcard from some random city, and it was always changing. The envelope said that the letter inside was also for this Bobby person. She showed the woman the letter. All she knew was the man that killed her mother and destroyed her house, this woman stopped. This woman saved her life. Lauren saved her life, and Macie sort of trusted her. And she said that she would take Macie to this Bobby. That she knew Bobby. So this woman knew the same man her dad did? So she went and packed a bag of her stuff. Okay, so it turned into like three bags. Her two travel bags and her backpack. She had all of her important things and clothes. And it wasn't long after that, that Lauren was driving her to this Bobby Singer. It took about two days to reach them, and Macie thankfully had money left over form her allowance, plus the money she took from the emergency money jar, so she was able to buy herself food and such during the little trip. She held onto the letter that was meant for this person, wondering what it said. Would it tell him where her dad is? How to find him? She wanted to know for herself, but knew it wasn't meant for her.

She hardly said much during the trip, but given what she saw, it was understandable why. She tended to listen to her iPod and play games on her game-boy while Lauren drove. Even if she had her license, she had no idea where they were going. This woman did know how to drive AND knew where they were going. They finally pulled up to a dump called 'Singer's Auto Salvage'. The place was a mess. She looked around as the car pulled up to the old house, and when Lauren announced that they were there, Macie got out. She was led inside and couldn't help but look around as she walked in. It was a strange place, with a lot of beer bottles and many strange books. "Who is she?" The older man asked.

Macie walked into view better and looked at him before looking to Lauren. "Bobby Singer?" She asked her, but the man answered instead.

"What?" He asked gruffly, watching her. Macie looked at the envelope before stepping forward and handing it to him. He was weary at first but opened it, and read the letter. He looked at her several time in between reading and Macie was pretty sure he read the letter a couple of times. He stared at her a moment before grabbing his phone and dialing up a number. "Dean, I have a young girl named Macie here..." He started when the person on the other line answered. "If everything in that damn letter is true, you better get your a** here now." He growled into the phone. He sounded angry, and Macie honestly didn't know why.

After talking to one of the missing children's parents, Dean pulled the Impala out of the driveway and into the street, heading back to their motel room so they could find out more about what ever was taking those kids. After changing out of his cheap suit and into his regular clothes, the elder Winchester tried calling Cas, but apparently the angel wasn't taking calls at the moment. Dean sighed and sat down on the bed, rubbing his face with his hands. "I got zilch, dude. Unless you think the Wicked b***h of the West came back from Oz." He replied to his younger brother before picking up his phone and tried calling Cas again, which would hint that Sam should probably call Bobby. After half a dozen calls later, Cas finally got his feather a** there. "Where have you been? I've been calling you for hours...you know what, never mind. You're here now and we need your help. Dean told the angel and filled him in on the case they're currently dealing with.

Apparently, Bobby came up with something that could help kill this b***h. Some plant called Middlemist Red, which Cas found in no time. Dean and Sam went back to hunting while Cas returned to heaven. They found the hag, who Dean had to admit was a lot hotter than he expected, ganked her and brought the children to their homes and families. The older brother couldn't help but feel and slight pang in his chest, seeing these kids with adoring parents. Something that Dean hadn't experience in a long time, and something Sammy never experienced at all. This whole life on the road, killing monsters and what not had really messed the two brothers up, and Dean hated his old man for that. Now all was said and done, Dean and Sam climbed back into the Impala and drove towards the next town over. About 20 miles in, Dean got a call from Bobby and as soon as he heard the name "Macie", his face completely drained of color and his heart rate sped up. He hung up the phone and slammed the car in reverse, turning around and headed towards South Dakota, going at least 30 miles over the speed limit. "We're going to Bobby's." He said in a serious tone as they raced down the highway.

Oh God oh God, please don't be too late... Lauren begged to herself as her Jeep screeched around the corner and towards the Cooper's residence. She has been tracking down a werewolf for a while now, and now she found out that his target was some woman named Vivian that lived at that residence. When she pulled up to the house, the door was already being kicked in by the werewolf. "Oh sh*t!!" The hunter cursed, then quickly reached in the backseat of the Jeep and grabbed her crossbow along with a few silver-headed arrows. After loading one in, she ran towards the house and managed to sneak in without the wolf noticing her, but she was too late. She found whom she presumed to be Vivian on the floor dead with her head twisted in an unnatural position. Then she heard a scream. Someone else was in this house and she was about to be dog food if Lauren didn't do anything. The wolf heard the scream as well and a sick smile spread across his face as he approached where the scream had originated. "Bad dog!!" She yelled before shooting her crossbow, lodging the silver arrow straight in the wolf's heart. He lot out one last growl before dropping to the floor with a loud thud. Lauren sighed in relief, then slung her crossbow over her shoulder and peered behind the counter and saw a terrified teenage girl. "Hey, shh, shh. You're okay." She said to try and comfort the hysterical girl, only to be pulled into a bear hug as she sobbed on the hunter's shoulder. Lauren was more than happy to return the hug.

After introducing herself, Lauren asked her if she knew anyone that could help her. The girl responded with holding out an envelope with Bobby's address on it. How on Earth does she has Bobby's address? Regardless on how she got it, Lauren knew that Bobby's place was the safest place that the girl could be. She trusted that man with her life, ever since he helped her take out a nest of vamps in Evanston. "I'll take you to Bobby's. Don't worry, I know him and he's a good man. He'll look out for you." Lauren reassured her. After helping the teen collect some things, okay...three bags worth of things, that she would need, the two of them piled into the hunter's Jeep and headed to South Dakota.

After a two day long road trip, Lauren finally pulled up to Singer Salvage Yard. "Well, here we are." The hunter said and got out of the Jeep with Macie behind her. She walked up to the house and knocked on the paint chipped door. "Hey Bobby, its Lauren. Ya know, the girl from Evanston." She called out and heard a gruff voice come from inside, telling them to enter. She held the door for Macie and then walked up to greet the older man who was none other than Bobby Singer himself. Lauren then introduced Macie to Bobby and explained her situation, making sure to tell him about the envelope with his name and address on it. After reading it at least three times, Lauren noticed Bobby's expression changed from shock to outright anger. He then grabbed a nearby phone and dialled a number, and addressed someone named Dean. "What the hell is going on, and who the hell is Dean?" Lauren asked after Bobby hung up, still fuming but she didn't care. She wanted answers.

The sudden turn around and new direction, plus the speeding were worrying Sam. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Is something wrong with Bobby?" He asked, giving Dean a worried look. Yeah, they lost their dad, and now only had Bobby left. Sam was not so keen on thinking about Bobby dying. But Dean hardly said anything while they drove. They were less than a days ride away, but it still took them several hours to get there. Dean more or less basically ignored Sam the entire way, and at one point Sam gave up trying to ask Dean what was happening. When they arrived he watched as Dean practically ran inside. Sam followed but not as fast inside. He heard the word Daddy and picked up his pace til he saw a girl attached to his brother. He looked from Bobby, to Dean, to Macie, then to Lauren. "Did she just call you dad?" Sam asked Dean before looking to Bobby who motioned him over. He walked over and Bobby handed him the letter that Macie handed him. As she read it, Sam just couldn't believe it. No, he really couldn't. This girl couldn't have been Dean's daughter. Dean would never have kept that from his own brother of all people. Sam just watched on, confused and a little angry.

"Who is this?" He asked while he stood there. He sounded pissed because he was. He girl attached to his brother peeked at him but never let Dean go. He stared at Dean though, and he stared hard.
              acie ooper

"Dean is her father. Another hunter." Bobby told Lauren. To say he was in a bad mood would be stating the obvious.

"A hunter?" Macie asked. She had sat down in one of the chairs but was looking right at Bobby. "What's a hunter?" Both her parents didn't want her to have anything to do with the supernatural. Didn't want her to have to deal with demons or any other hell monster. So they didn't tell her what her mother used to do, and father still does. Bobby looked at her and sighed.

"That's something your father will be explaining to you." Bobby told Macie as he looked to Lauren. "There's food and stuff in the fridge." Bobby mentioned, speaking to the both of them when he said it. He knew Dean would want to talk to Lauren, so he couldn't have her leaving just yet. But Macie didn't want to do anything but see her father and sleep. So, she was shown to one of the extra bedrooms by Bobby where she could sleep. And so she napped for a few hours, since she was told it might take a bit for her father to get here. When she woke up she changed into some new clothes before heading downstairs.

She sat downstairs for a while, even having a sandwich she made for herself. It was packed with almost anything sandwich worthy she found in the kitchen. It was an impressive sandwich. One that even had Bobby requesting she make one for him. And she didn't mind making him one. He is letting her stay there and let her raid his kitchen. When she finished she just played her game-boy some more. She was playing Pokemon. She looked away from her game when she heard the door open and shot out of the chair when she heard her dad call her name. "Daddy!" She exclaimed as she ran at him and jumped on him, keeping her arms firmly around his neck as she hugged him tighter than she hugged Lauren the other day. But she held tight and didn't want to let go.

After the hours of driving, the brothers finally pulled up to Singer Salvage Yard and parked next to an unfamiliar dark blue Jeep that Dean could only assume was the car that his daughter travelled in. He jumped out of the Impala and ran up the porch and burst through the door, calling his daughter's name. A flood of relief washed over him when he heard Macie's voice and as she bounded up to him, hugging him tightly. "Hey there kiddo." He smiled, returning his daughter's hug.

He then looked to the woman who emerged from the kitchen after Macie, whom Dean assumed was the person who owned the Jeep out front and who brought his daughter here. "What happened?" He asked her. First, she introduced herself as Lauren and then explained everything that happened, from the werewolf attack that killed Macie's mother to finding the envelope with Bobby's address on it. After hearing what happened, he couldn't help but hug Macie tighter. "Thank you..." he replied, but was barely auditable. He was too busy silently hating himself for what had happen. Judging by the look on Lauren's face, he knew she did everything she could, but only if he had been there, then all of this would never had happen.

After releasing his daughter, he looked over to Sam who had a rather pissed off looking expression on his face. And he had every right to be. He just found out that his brother was hiding the fact that he had a daughter from him. "Sam...let me explain..."

Lauren's brows furrowed at Bobby, but then looked over to Macie and sighed. Apparently the parents didn't want to bring her into the sh*tty world of the supernatural, and she couldn't really blame them. Being a hunter isn't exactly the most family friendly occupation in the world, as the werewolf attack proved.

Hours passed as the trio waited for the Father Dean to arrive. Lauren was pretty hungry from the long car trip, but since most of the sandwich meat was gone thanks to Macie's and Bobby's super-sandwiches, she settled with an apple. As the three sat in the kitchen and ate their lunch, Lauren couldn't help but sense that there was something that the elder hunter just wasn't telling her. It could be nothing, but he just seems...off. Lauren decided to just shrug it off and continue eating what ever was left in the kitchen and listening to the electronic music of Macie's video game that she recognized as Pokémon. Man...when was the last time I played that? She asked herself and smiled a little. She remembered when her grandmother bought her first GameBoy Color and the first game she had was Pokémon Red.

After a while, Lauren heard the sound of a muscle car pull up to the house, followed by the door slamming open and someone yelling Macie's name, which then led to the girl practically jumping out of her seat and running to hug a tall man in a leather jacket whom she assumed was the girl's father, Dean. After hugging his daughter for a while, Dean then looked up at Lauren and asked her what happened. She explained everything on what happened, which wasn't easy for her but she kept a neutral expression. Lauren knew what it was like to lose a mother at such a young age. Not matter how much time seemed to pass, that memory of the police telling her that her mother was killed still haunted her to that day. But at least Macie had a father to go to. Lauren on the other hand never had that luxury, she had her grandmother and she was grateful for that, but she would at least would like to know who her father was, even though he probably wouldn't care who she was.

Lauren's eyes then shifted over to the young man who followed Dean in the house. And judging by his expression, something told her that he didn't know that Dean was a father. Oh, this is going to be interesting. she thought and crossed her arms.
