Bio: Souhall, a Shandorian, was born in Skypiea during the great pirate era. Born to a warrior father and an herbal doctor mother, he was exposed to much of the Shandorian races' culture. When he was young he was always fascinated by the the vearth of Upper Yard. It's ability to grant life to plants always intrigued him. To him, all life started in the vearth, spawned an entire ecological system in which the plants and animals of Skypiea interacted with. Growing up, he learned fighting techniques from his father while learning everything he could about vearth and plants from his mother. The fighting style of his father was unique, utilizing the dials of Skypiea he was able to construct a pair of boxing gloves known as the Helix Dials. Taking the form of spiral shaped shells, the weapons had the ability to switch out what dials they used to alter the effects of the punches they could deliver. This kind of fighting style was known as Dial Boxing. He always dreamed of leaving Skypiea, journeying to the blue sea to see the source of all vearth first hand. Upon reaching the age of eighteen the chance finally came for him to venture to the blue sea, and as a parting gift his father gave him the Helix Dials. Souhall left Skypiea and moved to Jaya, an island that once housed Shandora itself, and began to study the vearth of the island. It was during this time that he began to tap into a unique ability of Skypiea known as Manta, allowing him to sense things in close proximity to his body and anticipate his foes movement. It was also around this time that he began studying the effects of plant remedies, and there ability to heal the body. He became learned in this art and eventually began to be known as "The Witch Doctor". Five years after arriving on Jaya, a marine battalion came to the island in search of the city of gold. Unable to find it, the marines instead defeated and took the Shandorian warrior captive, taking him to a secure facility in the North Blue for questioning.
Personality: Souhall is a proud warrior of Shandora and embraces his culture in everyday life. He feels compassion for all living things and is angered by those that would throw away the gift of life. He hates the marines for taking him from his home on Jaya, but is appreciative of them for giving him the chance to journey the world. Souhall is a curious and an inquisitive soul. He promises that he will one day return to Skypiea after venturing the world, and this determination keeps him living day to day. A bad point is that he gets sick from the rocky waves of the Blue Sea, simply because he was raised in a land where he was unable to experience the ocean.

Appearance: The Helix Dial looks like a pair of giant spiral shells. In reality, the shells are fossilized dials which were found in the vearth of Upper yard and restored to be used for battle as boxing gloves. The integrity of the fossilized shells have been strengthened by the years of aging, so much to the point that they can withstand heavy combat wear. The inside of the shells have buttons, that when depressed, releases the effects of various dials that can be loaded into the chamber of the Helix Dial. However, uniquely is the loaded dial is an Impact Dial or Reflect Dial, the outer casing of the Helix Dial can directly absorb energy and store it into the dial. Different dials are carried in Souhall's messenger bag, and can be switched out during battle.
