 Tasma caught a rollicking breeze and enjoyed the sensation of being buffeted around, of being out of control, on the edge of danger. The danger was having her wings blown shut and have herself drop downward, desperately trying to open them... and that was one of the better things that could befall an unwary flyer.
But Tasma was a great flyer and she was losing height, floating over the great bright and warm oasis of Dream Valley.

 The bright gold and crimson unicorn stood out among the field of growing wild flowers. Yellow, orange, and purple flowers waved in the breeze around her hocks. She was nose deep in the flowers. Trying to find new vibrant colors and sweet scents to add to her collection of flowers. Her tail flagged back and forth with each new blossom that caught her eyes.

The shiny figure in the flowers caught Tasma's eye and she banked and landed in the field. The flowers were rather pretty, but these days she always smelled of roses until she could smell nothing else.
Poor little Caster couldn't control his powers and everyone was kind enough to take his flowers from him so he wouldn't drag them around, looking like a walking rose bush.
"Hello," said Tasma. She was in a good mood, good enough to say something to a complete stranger.

A voice startled her out of her thoughts. Ruby jerked her head up, trying not to inhale the flowers by her nostrils, and looked around. Quickly she spotted the winged, green pony that had joined her. "Good day," she greeted and bobbed her head. Since she hadn't heard the pony walking through the flowers she could only assume the other had flown in. "Is there something I can do for you?"

"No-oo," said Tasma slowly and with some confusion. She looked around. She hadn't stepped into someone's home had she? To warrant that kind of response? Almost like... a customer service response? Isn't that how you'd talk to a customer?
"I was just in the neighbourhood. Should I not be?"

Ruby shook her head quickly at the confusion clear on the other pony's face. "I'm sorry, somewhat of a habit developing I fear. I'm Ruby Lilly. No, not that I know of." She looked around quickly. They were the only ponies there. Maybe she needed to spend a bit more time away from the shop. There wasn't anypony living here that she knew of, which was why she'd come to this particular place. She wanted some fresh wildflowers to try growing. Something a bit more wild than what she normally did.

"I'm Tasma," Tasma introduced herself. "Habit? Do you work in a shop? It sounded like that kind of thing to say." Tasma laughed. Going to shops was still not something she was used to. Usually, food was delivered to the home of the dragons and daughters of the Green Lady were NEVER permitted to go into a store. It was below their dignity.

"Lovely to meet you Tasma." Ruby laughed with the other mare. "I'm afraid it is isn't it? I recently moved here and opened a flower shop. Didn't realize that was becoming a habit. So what are you doing out this fine day? Do you live around here?"

"Not very close but not so very far as the dragon flies," said Tasma. "I live in Green Lady Mountain," she explained, referencing the last mountain in the mountain range separating Nightmare Valley from The Lands Beyond, at the far east before the sea. "I enjoy a good exploration, though. So you're new here? Where did you come from?"

She tilted her head, unfamiliar with the name Tasma called home. It clearly wasn't anywhere around here. Ruby wondered how far a dragon could fly. Quite far if this was any indication. She smiled, "I love to explore too. Oh yes, moved here about a moon ago. From one of the mountains near here. I couldn't get many different flowers to grow up there, so I came down where it was warmer."

"Ahh," said Tasma, nodding her head. "Yes, up north there are many mountains. I think I know where you mean. Close to Flutter Valley? It doesn't matter." She looked around. "Dream Valley is known for its nice climate. It would be wasted on me, though."

The mare shook her head with a giggle. "No, there's mountains close to here. I come from one of those. I've never been near Flutter Valley." They were on the same footing, neither one knew where the other was from. "It is pleasant here, and the flowers grow so well.Oh? Why do you think it would be wasted?" Ruby smiled and waved her hoof at the flowers around them. "Can't you enjoy the lovely colors and sweet fragrance?"

"I thought you said you were new to the valley?" said Tasma. SHe sneezed as the pollen was wafted over to her. "I am afraid I can only smell roses," she said apologetically. "Wasted? I spend so much of my time up high in the cold it would be useless for me to live somewhere temperate and warm. I may as well live in Nightmare Valley."

Ruby nodded and tapped her hoof against the ground. "Correct, the valley. I use to live high in the mountains near here." The mare giggled again. "These aren't roses, only wildflowers. I don't see why you couldn't live somewhere warm even though you like to fly high." She smiled and tilted her head. "If you really want some flowers, there are some kinds that are hearty enough to survive relatively cold places. I'd be more than happy to make a pot with such flowers if you really wanted." Ruby put her muzzle back down to the flowers and sniffed gently.

Tasma paused. "Dream Valley is the name of the country, so even if you lived in the mountains or in a lake, you'd live in Dream Valley," she said slowly.
"We don't really go for flowers where I am from and the ones we have are magical. My family is quite... talented in that way. Especially my little seryph nephew and my sister, the goblin princess."
