They were absolutely everywhere. Brightly coloured fliers stapled to phone poles, pasted on walls and in windows, and blowing in the breeze, finding their way under every foot, paw, talon and hoof possible. Each was a little different, and obviously done by hand- or paw. The previously wet watercolour paint wrinkled and buckled the thin paper. It also made the writing a little difficult to read, but they all said the same thing: Quote: You are cordially invited to L'Arc's celebration of Spring party and bonfire! All are welcome!
Come spend a day of fun and games outside in the sun, and end the day with a nitetime bonfire! Food and drink will be provided.
Find us on Barton Coast. You can't miss us! April 17 - ???

Veering away from the Port of Gambino there was a well-traveled path that crossed through the Barton Coast. Just in view of the shore there was a small, unimpressive yet inviting house nestled safely within a sparse tree-line against a small cliff. Normally this was a quiet, lonely area, but on this day, even from a distance you could see it was decorated with brightly coloured banners and flags, and there was the faint sound of music on the breeze. As you walked closer you could see that all the banners were hand-crafted, enthusiastically smeared with water-colour paint reminiscent of the invitation that brought you there. All along the grass in front of the house there were picnic blankets and pillows surrounding a few small, simple wooden tables that were laden with food- fruits and veggies with dips, meats and cheeses with crackers, sweets and pastries, water, punch and different juices all for the taking. Taped above the open doorway of the house, from which the music poured out, was a sign that read “adult refreshments”, with a crudely drawn picture of a wine bottle and two glasses. It was a perfect Spring day for a party. The noon sun hung high in the clear blue sky without the threat of a single cloud. The soft whisper of the salty ocean breeze was just enough to make things pleasantly chilly. Down on the beach there was already a small pile of dry wood, and in the distance a small, pink creature lazily collected more driftwood. Suddenly, not too far from where the food and blankets were splayed, half of a banner shot up. A sleek, brightly coloured canid with a soft tuft of a tail and two large ears struggled to lift the pole while the other lay unhelpfully on the ground, dragging the banner down. She grunted slightly as she tried to secure the pole in the soft ground, unwary of the arrival of any guests. ((L'Arc is in animal form))

Spring was fresh in the air, the sun was high in the sky, but one creature was busy lazily sleeping the day away. She lied sprawled out in the tall grass, the hoodie helping her to blend in. A cool breeze shook the waves of green around her and carried the smell of food in its wake. "Mmmmm...fooooood, she rolled over drooling in her sleep. A stray leaf rested on her face rousing her enough to notice the time. "How'd the sun get way over there...?" Rising unsteadily, she shuffled over to where her basket off candy eggs and marshmallow animals had been abandoned and retrieved it. "Still got a lot more to pass out." She'd spent the past few glorious days running around offering everyone candies to celebrate the long awaited spring, but after nonstop running around, she'd accidentally passed out. The sound of music reached her ears and she decided to investigate. She carefully rested the basket in the crook of her elbow and removed the floppy ears of her hoodie from in front eyes. As she did so, a paper fluttered out of no where and attacked her face. She flailed for a moment before calming down enough to read it. "A Spring Fling, eh?" She grinned, this would be the perfect opportunity to meet someone who appreciated spring just as much as she did! And she even had candies to offer. She skipped along the road, carefully not to spill or damage her sweets, until she came upon the well decorated house. Squealing in excitement, she found the refreshments table, placed her basket in an empty spot, and looked around to find the host or hostess of this exquisite party. Spotting her not far away and almost smacking herself for not seeing her earlier, she danced over. "This is the coolest party ever! I hope you don't mind, but I brought some sweets! I mean, I had them with me, but then I saw one of your fliers and decided to head over! It was perfect 'cause mamma always said never to go to a party empty handed. I didn't see a specific time on there, so I wasn't sure if I got here early. Do you need any help setting anything up?" She panted, slightly out of breath, and grinned at the colorful bunny.

“Ah! Mon Dieu!” Having been unaware of anyone next to her, the startled rabbit-fox let out an exasperated squeak. Her paws’ awkward grasp on the stubborn pole became more tenuous, and it took her a moment to steady it once more. With a sigh of relief she turned her gaze on the Noodle next to her, listening as politely as she could while still performing a balancing act. “Non, I think I am just about done here.” Just as she graciously refused the help of her new friend the pole finally slipped. L’Arc flinched as it came down between them and landed with a hollow, metallic sound. She stared at it for just a second, then laughed boisterously at herself. “Perhaps I could use a little help.” The task at hand became a second thought as the Noodle allowed herself to become excited about her guest. “Forgive me! I am L’Arc!” She offered up a white paw, but the gesture was much more enthusiastic than it was graceful. “You are a Noodle, like me, non?” She seemed to light up at the realization. This was, after all, her first encounter with another of her kind.

She blinked for a second, hearing the foreign language. She was momentarily afraid that communicating with this Noodle would be harder than she had first anticipated, but relaxed when the colorful lady used English. "Oh, well in that case, I-" She started to introduce herself when the pole standing next to them gave into the light breeze and fell between them. She laughed along with the other Noodle and shook her paw, "Nice to meet you, L'Arc! My name's Honey Bunny, but you can just call me Hon for short, if you like!" She grabbed the pole and carefully lifted it back to where L'Arc had it set. "That I am! I'mma Noodle through and through." Honey gave a little jump and forced the pole into the ground a few inches to assure that it would not attempt to harm any innocents walking by. "I'm actually new to this area, so you're the first I've met here." She gave the pole a light push. It held its ground so she headed over to the other. "By the way, did you do this all yourself? It looks amazing!" She took a moment to fully take in the colorful decorations that brightened the area. It must have take hours to get all this done... She thought in awe of the beauty.

The banner that flew up along with the poles was even more so brightly coloured than the others, and all across it in bold blue letters it clearly read " PAINTING". "I had much help from Vulpes, the woman with whom I live." L'Arc motioned toward the beach where the small pink body was becoming more akin to a dot on the horizon the further it walked away. "It is just the two of us, and it took some time, but I wanted everything to be perfect! "There is food for all, and games down on the beach like ring toss and apple bobbing and volleyball! When the sun goes down there will be a bonfire, and here..." She gestured to everything in turn until she finally directed Hon's attention to the banner she had just hoisted, "... here will be an area in which to paint." She smiled, and her chest puffed proudly. "That was my idea." With the final banner now in place everything seemed a little more complete. L'Arc took in the whole scene, positively beaming. "I am so happy you like it, and that you could make it!" She practically bounced as she spoke. "Thank you for your help, Hon. We'll have so much fun, even if it is just us two!"

[[Always in animal form~!]] Having some spare time she decided to walk around till she spotted a pretty banner that says, "PAINTING" on it and just had to go investigate. Quickly walking over she spotted two other's one with a green bunny hoodie and the other a pretty array of colors. Having the great idea to walk around with a basket of backed goods on my back hoping to meet up with Sir Conrad she decided to do something else. Walking over she cooed, "I'm Siroi Lily though you two can call me Siroi or Lily for short. I was going to share these back goods with Sir Conrad though there is enough to share with maybe ten noodles. I would have stopped with enough for five though I had all the ingredients out and decided to keep baking. So if there is any certain place I should put them just let me know and I'll put them there."
She started looking about wondering where he could be with his really cute bunny tail. Hoping he didn't get lost since she had decided to come earlier then planed she had told him. So looking so starts sniffing to see if she reorganizes any of the smells other then water, ocean, sand, juice, and apples. Her tail starts wagging like crazy, "Do I smell apples? I love apples, I even baked some apples though fresh ones are amazing! So are they for some sort of game? Are there flyers or something? Sorry I keep asking you two for questions just wanna make sure. The reason I came over is because that pretty banner up there!" She starts to blush unsure if she is bothering them, if so she would be more then willing to help them with stuff around here.

"Oh!" L'Arc could hardly contain her excitement at the presence of another Noodle. It seemed it wasn't just going to be her and Hon after all, and with the notion that Siroi may not be the last to arrive she fell easily into her Hostess roll. "You absolutely smell apples! There are apples and many other snacks on the tables where you may place your treats- which look delicious, mon dieu! There is also a bobbing for apples game on the beach! "Oh, wait right here!" the colourful Noodle dashed off towards the house and disappeared inside momentarily, but she was back as quickly as she had gone, this time carrying a piece of paper in her mouth. "This is the flyer I sent out!" She spoke around the paper before setting it at Siroi's paws. "I hope that it will bring many Noodles here." She smiled and glanced between her two new friends before settling her attention once more on Siroi and offering her paw. "I am called L'Arc." ((sorry for such a rushed reply, Blue! I'm glad you could join in! :'D))

Honey gave a bounce of excitement as another Noodle arrived, her energy fueled by the cheery hostess. "This is gonna be awesome! You'll have a full house in no time, L'Arc!" Her hoodie's ears danced about as she jumped up and down. "Lovely to meet you, Siroi! I'm Honey Bunny! Hon for short." She greeted the brightly colored Noodle with a nod and resisted eating any of the sweets available. She had always been the energetic type, but adding sugar was something she wasn't sure her new friends were ready for. ((sorry it's so short >.< I've never rp'd her before, so I'm still working out the little details))

When she said that Siroi's eyes widen and her tail started wagging so hard at the mention that apples really are there. "Oh, thank you for letting me know I better place them over there then. Why thank you, I spent a good amount of time making sure they came out just perfect." The mention of bobbing for apples had her super excited never had she done that before though it has apples! So Siroi waited there for L'Arc. The instant she had sent it down was the instant Siroi picked it up, "This is soooo cute~! I love how it is hand made which makes it even better. I will have to keep this for the memories." She tucks it into her collar for safe keeping. "I'm sure it will." Siroi looked between the two of them then took L'Arc's paw shaking it a few times then letting go.
Simmering down she took her time to listen to this bunny hoodie noodle. So when she sounded all excited Siroi became all excited all over again wagging her tail like crazy, "This is going to be great! She sure will!" She watches as the bunny ears dance as she jumps up and down so Siroi joined in the jumping up and down. "What a lovely name you two have, L'Arc and Honey Bunny. I shall call you Hon then!" Siroi gave a nod back then went on with bouncing making sure not to drop her amazing baked goods. Then rushes off to place the basket on the table with the rest of the treats. When she gets there she is sure she can sense someone near by out of sight.

[[Always in animal form~!]] Having been spotted Sir Conrad Everheart comes out from the hiding spot he just found when Siroi Lily sensed him. She has become so close that even when she can't see him she knows he's there. Walking over to L'Arc he smiles, "Hello L'Arc, I'm Sir Conrad Everheart though Sir Conrad is fine since Everheart is my last name. Though I just can't help but tell everyone it when I remember to that is." Taking a quick moment he bowed in great honor to have been invited to this party to meet and greet others with his adopted sister Siroi Lily.
Not really giving her a chance to say anything he quickly turns then rushes off to Siroi Lily's side. For some reason after meeting Mina he always needs to be around her or Lily for some strange reason. Or is it a strange reason, reaching Lily he asked, "Will you keep my tail safe from being bounced by others no matter what?" With a roll of her eyes she told him she would never let anything happen to his tail then lightly hugged him to her left side. Then gestured to Honey Bunny and told him her name. While lightly being hugged Sir Conrad bowed to Hon then stood there smiling a bit, "It is nice to meet you, I'm Sir Conrad Everheart, Everheart being my last name." Seeing how nervous he is Lily gives him a quick squeeze to comfort him. They may be the same age though he seems to be a tad bit shorter then her so she decided to take charge and protect him.

[[I don't usually do group RP because I have a hard time processing a lot of text sometimes and I'm nervous l'D... But I wanna give it a shot -flails- SC is in animal form]] Short Circuit had found himself needing to get out and away. Away from what he wasn't exactly sure of, but he was feeling very self conscious about his glitches. Figuring that he just needed some time to himself to deal with the random twitches, sparks, and stutters, he had wandered about aimlessly. Usually when one wanted to get away they did such a thing, right? As he made his way about his sensors picked up a light breeze blowing by. As the little gust of wind tousled his bangs, he raised a paw to fix it before it got caught in his visor, only to get SMACKED right in the face by a piece of paper! It had startled him more than anything, his body twitching a couple times. Grabbing the offending piece of paper he held it out and peered at it as his eyes scanned over it, trying his best to analyze it. "Spring... fling?..." he muttered. What in the world? Oh dang... Maybe he was close to a bunch of others. He had been wandering around trying to get away!... But then again... Games did sound kind of fun. What kind were there?... Okay... Going to just find this place and peek in real quick... and dash!" Yes! That was his game plan! GOOD! And so he stuffed the paper away, then set out to find this place after setting the coordinates in his built in GPS. Sometimes it paid to be him.
As he made his way to where he was certain he'd find the games that were the most intriguing part of the invite, the subtle sounds of music caught his attention. Music. One thing his family just loved! And as he walked closer to his goal, he could see others about. He almost turned around right then and there, but the music... he just couldn't walk away! Plus there were hopefully some fun games to play. Being around others couldn't be all that bad right now, right? As SC got closer, his steps turned to inching in an almost silly looking way. He was nervous! What if he glitched out in front to these other Noodles and they gave him weird looks... or maybe even ruined something! AHG! The thoughts of that alone made his head jerk to the side, eye twitching while mechanical whirrings from his processor beginning to be overloaded by these worries. All he could do is just give himself a few moments to get his panic under control. One would think he'd have learned by now that freaking out sends him into glitch fits. As the last of his ticks came to a stop, he inhaled, then exhaled, cooling his slightly heated system down before stepping back up to bat. Slowly, cautiously -- per chance any of them saw his freak out -- he approached a Noodle that stuck out a good bit as they were quite colorful, though keeping his distance as he began speaking. "Errr... Hi there. I caught wind [[haha]] of the party and was wondering if I might join for games?" 'AGH! that was lame, lame, lame!' he said as he scolded himself, and in the process of doing such...he forgot his plan to dash away as he did seem to be finding himself wanting to stick around.

It seemed the three were bound to feed each others enthusiasm as L'Arc bounced happily with Hon and Siroi, her paws even leaving the ground. "As far as I am concerned this party is already a huge success!" She would have been happy with just the three of them playing together, but her day just kept getting better. L'Arc smiled at the gentle approach of the black and brown Bunny Noodle. She easily took in stride his formal and polite introduction, as it was her custom as well. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir Conrad. I hope you'll- oh!" she laughed as he dashed away to be with Siroi. The voice seemed to come from nowhere, but L'Arc happily turned to greet another new guest. This time she paused, taking in the sight of the neon colors on black fur. Already she was meeting such a variety of Noodles! Her demeanor softened, his nerves readily apparent to her. "But, of course! You are more than welcome!" She smiled sweetly and stepped just one paw closer, but she was interrupted before she could say another word. "Good to see guests are arriving!" A small voice denoted the arrival of an even smaller body as Vulpes pattered up to the group. "Hate to take you away, L'Arc, but I'll need your help with some things inside." "Oh, of course!" L'Arc smiled to everyone and lowered her head apologetically. "I'm so sorry, but I must excuse myself for now. Please help yourselves to absolutely anything and everything!" Before leaving with Vulpes she stopped in front of their newest guest. "My name is L'Arc. If there is anything you need please do not hesitate to ask." She nodded reassuringly and then followed the small, pink creature she called family into the house. (( haha same here! no worries, Zoey! c: I'll protect you, icy! >|D /gets just as lost I haven't mentioned it here, but L'Arc is in animal form. /goes to edit her first post. >w<))

When another voice is heard Siroi turns to her left forcing Sir Conrad to turn as well, that's when they see another noodle, a black and neon one. Then after that another voice was heard and L'Arc and this pick creature went into the house. After that Siroi walked over to the new guy dragging, I mean taking Sir Conrad with her then stopped near him and sat down. Giving Sir Conrad a snuggle she smiled and so did he, "Hello there, I'm Siroi Lily though you can call me Siroi or Lily. This cute rabbit fox here is Sir Conrad and his last name is Everheart. So you can call him Sir Conrad. I brought the really big basket of baked goods that I took my time making. If you like baked goods you should try some."
Sir Conrad heard that and remembered why he had to find Lily, wiggling out from her left leg he walked over to the table. After eating a small strawberry shortcakes he brought one over for each of them. If this new guy didn't want one he could always split the third in half and share it with Lily. Standing on the left side of Lily she moved over and took the one, "Why thank you Sir Conrad, you are so sweet." Putting her left leg over his shoulders again she then eats the shortcake.
