The petite girl put the magazine in a black plastic bag before stuffing it into her bee backpack, she also wore her little pouch which already crammed with snacks. In front of the mirror, she checked herself one last time, tidied up her clothes and hair, before heading to Mimsy 's room to pick up the beer. After saying thank you to the sweet Life huntress and put the beer into her backpack, she jumped once to adjust the shoulder belt before heading to Mark's room. The girl wearing a heart print knit sweater (a bit loose for her size) seemed to have a good mood, despite the fact that she was a bit nervous about visiting someone for the first time. Her high platform ankle boots made some sounds while she slowly strolled towards her destination with hesitation. The girl recalled what Mimsy told her to take note of, murmured like a shopper tried to recall their shopping list. No matter how slow she was, she was finally at the door. Putting her hands on her chest and took a deep breathe, the itty-bitty young trainee knocked on the door. " Uncle Mark, are you here?" Knock. Knock. Knock. The hitting sound was rather low.

The door opened just a sliver, and a very scruffy face, wearing a stained t-shirt, Doritos bits still all over his man beard appeared in all his majestic glory.
A grubby hand poked out. "Gimme the thing."

The door opened, but with just a small gap, how weird it was. The tiny girl would only peeked a slovenly face which puzzled her so much because she only saw the tidier Death Assistant in the dream, but not this super messy look. In addition, with only a portion of him being seen, she couldn't identity him. When she saw trying to figure out who that person was, a hand abruptly reached out and asked for the thing. The stupid girl (as Z said) didn't think that Mark was just didn't want her to get in his privacy, instead, she was thinking a suspicious man was in Mark's room. So she summoned her weapon and in a ready-to-attack pose. "No. Who are you?" It seemed that the mission nightmare had some hidden effect on her. "Are you one of them?" The trainee was thinking of the possibility of a grey hunter, the dream was too real that even now, she couldn't distinguish some of the details. "Where's Uncle Mark?" She tried to peek through the gap to check the inside of the room. Time to open your door before the tiny girl knock down it, Mark. Z didn't say anything, he though it would be a good show. Zoobey Open your door, Mark. (ㅇㅅㅇ❀)

Mark stared at the hammer, and then blinked several times, slowly. He just simply stared for a moment longer, without any commentary. Finally-
"Yes. Yes, I am." he began, both lacking enthusiasm and sarcastic, "I am Evil Mark, the greatest evil of them all, and like conqueror of the seven galaxies or something, look, can I have my magazine back now, it's really limited edition and stuff."

The deadly stare from the stranger made her hair stood up, well if she was a kitty. She held the shaft of her hammer firmly with her two hands, stooped low in alert. His soulless eyes resembled the zombie she saw in movies, she never expect that, maybe she should ask Mimsy to go with her at first...... Confusing answer the guy gave muddled the poor girl. Evil Mark? What was that?! She only knew one Mark, and the only Mark. Her eyes helplessly widened, mind scrambled. She started to think of all kinds of possibilities, like he had been controlled by some bad guys, or someone not Mark disguised as Mark, etc. She sensed conspiracy, maybe the magazine consisted of some hidden secrets/ codes, from the meeting she knew the " O hunters" were dangerous and mastered high technologies, and they did sneaked into Deus before! The girl wearing the loose knit sweater moved back a bit and frowned. "No. You are not Uncle Mark. I will only give the magazine back to him." She moved another step backward while kept an eye on the suspicious guy. She couldn't handle an enemy by herself, she might need help, but she couldn't risk to spare some time to send a message either. The tiny girl resembled as an alerted kitty ready to strike. He didn't mention the beer, he was so questionable. Meanwhile, Z giggled like a mad person in her mind but she didn't have time to bother with that. She peeked at the surrounding for a quick and safe route in case she had to run.

There was a very long and deep sigh that suggested some sort of intense suffering. At last, Mark opened the door a little more and propped himself against the doorframe. There were dark circles under his eyes which suggested he hadn't slept. For possibly days.
"Look um, are you gonna give me the magazine or not." Pause. "And it is I, your uncle. Mark. Mark the uncle." He yawned deeply and then just blinked at her, holding his hand up again as if expecting a magazine to be placed right on it.

Her defense was lowered when the door opened bigger. "Uncle Mark?" She raised an eyebrow at the man leaned against the door, made a step forward gingerly with caution. The Death Assistance did look like a zombie, but she had a feeling that, that was him. Uncle Mark" hahahahaaa - not a zombie or being controlled - haha- haha- HAHAHAHAAAAA I am dying~> Really? So - he was playing with me?!
The girl was so embarrassed to make such a big mistake, she blushed like a tomato and wanna dig a hole to hide herself. Yet, his unwell look worried her, she dashed forward, tip-toe to put her hand over his forehead. It was a difficult task considered their height differences but she managed to do so, one hand on his forehead, one hand on hers. She sighed in relieve knowing it was not a fever.
"Yes, I'm visiting to return the magazine, but first you need to sit down, you don't look so well." She made a concerned but stern look, pushing the man backward into his room. "I also bring the beer you want, but I think you should drink water. Have you drunk enough water today? How about sleep? Did you get enough sleep?" She puffed her cheeks at Mark, sleep is more important than a merely magazine. She totally forgot the last moment she though it held some secrets.
The Asian girl continued to question him, finger poking his chest as they moved deeply into the room and finally she pressed him onto his bed. Once he settled, the girl immediately realized what she had done. The intimacy, the distance were all improper, she was too noisy!
Ahhhhhh What is she doing?!
She froze like a stone statue, flushed and her brain was like a mess.
Zoobey That's what you get from rejecting her. I want her to ask some silly questions, so sorry Mark, no rest for you cool

Mark had propped his head against the doorframe, and while Shu talked, stared at her with wide vacant eyes that just grew more wide and more vacant with every increasing moment.
There was a lapse of silence. And then a snoring nose.
Mark had fallen asleep with his eyes open.

She didn't know whether she should be glad or angry that he didn't listen to what she said or realized what she did at all. She sighed, the red from her face faded. "Uncle Mark?" She gently shook the man.
B-But his eyes are open!
The naive girl raised her hands, waving across his eyes, there was no blinking or flinch.
He's asleep.
The girl let herself sat in a comfortable position on the bed, legs swinging idly along its side. She put her backpack and asked Z what she should do. In a quiet environment, okay, besides the deep regular snorts, she felt a bit sleepy too. Some people say sleepiness is infectious, maybe they are right. She started closing and opening her eyes, each time longer after another as her body gently swung like a little boat. Um? She responded with a sleep tone. <..Your parent didn't tell you not to enter a stranger's room and even worse fall asleep on his bed?!> He suddenly barked aloud. The Death Trainee was awaken, but frowned unsatisfied at her partner, she nearly had it, why stopped her. No! I have to return the magazine, it's an important collection! She insisted, but pressed her lips as Z asked what she would do then. Maybe I will wait until he wakes up?
Z sighed, said a "whatever" before he didn't speak anything again. So Shu, better to say, Shu Lei or just Lei, decided to check on his room. She did knock down some beer bottles on the floor on her way poking Mark's manly chest, so first she picked them up like a good girl and set them aside according to their heights. Then, she moved her head to look around the room, many garbage, like a landfill. How could a human live in such a room? She had her face creased together, mainly folded around her eyebrows. Please no insects that she expected, there is a certain little nasty insect that will drive her nuts.
She gingerly looked around to make sure there was no sneaky black moving shadows and took a deep breathe. Now, she was fully awaken. Shu looked around for distraction and finally stopped at the computers-
- their screens had sexy women pictures playing.
Shu frowned at what she saw, there were some girls in swimsuits with impressive melons, posing seductively at her, nope, should be Mark. She just let it play, while slowly covered her's.
Does men all love melons?
She sighed, letting herself focus on the screens again, carefully to check if there was pictures of a certain clever and beautiful Life huntress. She saw him flirting with her on twitter more than once, so if she did, maybe it's a time for Robert to talk with Uncle Mark. Lucky for him, she didn't find any, but more women showing their melons. The longer she watched, the sadder she was, wondering if every man she meet will be the same. With a light movement, she accidentally moved the mouse.
A box popped out asking for password.
She flinched in reaction, but started to figure what password he might use. Z, what do you think? There was only silence that made her pouted. She needed to figure it out by her own, so she typed in "Ilovemelons"

Immediately alarm sirens went blaring (from the computer), and Mark shot right up, shouting a bit as he immediately lost balance, toppled over, and back right back up.
"No, no no, off limits!" He immediately moved over to push Shu away from his computer. "This, this, and that-" he pointed at his third computer - "is off limits. These precious babies are no touch no feel, no grubby hands on their hardware. Look but don't touch."
Mark took a moment to wipe down his keyboard Shu had tapped with an even dirtier scarf end covered in beer and cheetos bits. "What- what are you doing here anyway. I thought you were gonna like give me my- err - my friend's magazine, tell me how awesome I was and like, leave me to appreciate the company of my own solitude?"

She was thinking of an apology and already opened her mouth, but what he said made her not. The petite girl stomped the floor, "My hands are.not. GRUBBY!" She pouted and puffed up like a frog, that was a big humiliation for her, especially after someone who called her a leech. "I need to check if you hide any inappropriate pictures of Mimsy." Maybe nerds all call their computers babies, that wasn't her concern. She was a nice girl if you didn't make her unhappy, however, the unlucky Death assistant did the wrong thing and even worse, wiping the keyboard she touched as if she contained germs. Her plan was yes, give him the magazine, but not the tell-him-how-awesome-he-is part, that wasn't not included. At least not before he saved them in sahara desert. Thus, she was gonna be a mean girl. "Of course I come to bring you the magazine, but I can't really do it without cost. You see, I am a Death huntress and we shouldn't miss any chance to gain information...." She dragged the last part while looking at Mark suggestively. No free meals, Uncle Mark. Whether or not the man would think she was asking for some special Mark services, she said, "So - just answer me a few questions as a trade?" She smiled sweetly, maybe. "And you can get some beers as a bonus!"

"Uh, well," Mark replied acerbically, "wow let me think here, how about no." He all but tried to shove Shu off the computer and then the desk was groaning precariously under all the extra weight of Mark's efforts. "No to this, and that and, especially that no fingers, no, don't touch anything I'm in the middle of something programming important."
He paused. "How about this, miss mind your own business, I'll give you some 'information' and you do me a favour, a sort of little mission favour or something. And I'll even give you a reward like, oh, how about, I don't know what you girls like these days, a date with one of those Sun Hunter stud dudes and two tickets to see Disney on Ice."

Mark was rude and he was pushing her away from his holy land, her face just got worse with his first, second and third no. Until he told that he was programming something important. Okay, she was a good girl, if he had a convincing reason, she will let go of it. "Fine. Fine~ I will stay away from them." The Asian girl shrugged. "Tell me what the favour is first." She insisted. She would be stupid and agree without thought if he didn't offend her at first. However, the judging face had turned into an unbelievable and disdainful expression. Of course the answer to the reward question would be dessert buffet the best, but since Mark wasn't smart enough to know what today's girls like, he didn't get that. "Uncle Mark." She paused. "I though you were there at the meeting?" Another paused. "We're not allowed to leave the island." She finished it with a sigh, she'd like to go to see Disney on Ice (She neglected the date part), but they can't even have their leaves. That's where the judging came from. Shu thought a Death Assistant who was in the meeting should know that, and yet he was suggesting that? Zoobey I'll quote you million times ;D

"Oh favour," the Death assistant scratched his chin scruff, "it's nothing really, I mean I like, could have done it myself, but I'm so busy and stuff, and really busy and um, important. And I have tag- tagged evil Halloween creatures to take care of, you know, that kind of stuff. Anyway, I need you to find a few people and let them know they have been chosen. Here, I'll like, print you some lines. It's easy. Just read the paper to them man. The names are on the sheet."
About five seconds later Shu had a printed sheet of paper shoved into her hands with a list of names. It read as followed. THE SHEET Mimsy MorrisQuinn McgongallKonstantin BashmetYou have been chosen to be the next and brightest initiates at the Institute and I, the spy, have been sent to tell you these spy words, so you can figure out your next clue. The falcon has flown the coop. That is all. Meegane Shu needs to locate these three rpers (or summon them to this thread) and read the lines to them one at a time. After reading it to all of them them (and any reactions) she can come back and report to Mark a mission well done.

A magazine for a mission with benefits - Shu thought it was a good deal. She pouted and squinted at Mark, she really didn't mind helping a busy someone but his excuses - was given an eye roll. "Alright, I can do that," The half-lidded eyes widened again with the smile, "See you later then." She unloaded the heaviest goods in her backpack before she left, but not the most important magazine. The first name on the list was Mimsy Morris, someone she was close enough. She stared at the paper as she walked along the passage, with energy that might burn a hole onto the paper. Institute? "When did I become a spy...." She mumbled on she way to the labs, typing a text to the said hunter. "So weird.....Uncle Mark.....what're you thinking..." Text to Mimsy Hello Mimsy, I am coming to the labs, got something to find you /(=✪ x ✪=)\ A bunny emotion was added as a signature. Nothing Yet Teatime invitation...not.
