Megrez was sloooooowly getting used to this patrolling thing, though she hadn't always found much. A youma here, a stray senshi there... otherwise, not much doing, and she'd lament the sleep she was losing. Today, however, the air felt a bit different. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but something was decidedly off. Something was making her hair stand on end and felt very wrong. She probably should have gotten out of the area, but the people she had been with recently made it quite clear that fights were to be fought if they happened. She couldn't run away when something that could endanger a civilian was lurking around. If something was there, she was going to have to fight it. She probably wouldn't have the strength to kill it like certain people had implied was the best option, but maybe she could at least weaken it for someone else to finish off... If Megrez's aura-sensing abilities were a bit more honed, she would have recognized this feeling as the hallmark of a Chaos officer. A very strong Chaos officer, at that. Trouble was going to be afoot, and she had no idea what she was about to get into. ChibiGingi Ready to go! Also if I goofed up on the whole sensing a chaos aura thing, let me know and I'll fix it. romeo wilco I'll quote you again at a good time for Gunn to come in.

On the other end of the spectrum, this seemed like a regular day for General Mica, the same as any other, and the approaching Order aura was hardly worth thinking about for her. She felt it when it came into range, but one wouldn't have figured just by looking at her. There was no outward sign that the stone-faced general had felt anything unusual approaching, though she was moving in response to it, nonetheless. After all, she did have a job to do and she simply wasn't the type to ignore the presence of an aura, as small as it may first appear.
It felt like a first stage Senshi to her, young and with the way it seemed to be drawing closer to her without hesitation or signs of slowing down, either extremely brave or simply too inexperienced to know better. Mica wasn't sure which one it was or which she would have preferred. Perhaps the former... it wasn't often that she met such bravery on the other side and the ones that she did meet were more often then not reckless or had the great misfortune of meeting her more 'compassionate' officers prior.
Whoever this senshi was, he or she was in for a rude awakening, and Mica was going to make sure that this one would leave this encounter in one of two conditions: bloodied and wise from the ordeal, or dead. Mica waited until the approaching senshi was close before she gripped her spear, bringing the blade to her front and swinging it downwards as she jumped out from on top the rooftop, looking to drive its blade into her opponent's form as she came crashing down behind her. A kinder Negaverse officer might have announced themselves sooner and given her the chance to defend herself, but not Mica. The only warning she gave was her boots scraping against the roof when she jumped from it and the pebbles that fell clinked against the ground next to Megrez's feet.Sami-Fire Nope, I think you got it perfectly! <3 Also, definitely welcomed to dodge!

Megrez could have sworn she heard the sound of something falling behind her. She whipped around just as the Negaverse General was about to impale her and jumped out of the way, too startled to do much more than blurt out a startled "WHO?!" This person was definitely the source of the strange feeling, yes. And they had a weapon. A legit weapon. A legit weapon that nearly skewered her. This was not a good sign. Megrez began to put some distance between herself and the new enemy, not quite stable enough to begin chucking eggs and having a feeling that going in for melee combat would be a bad idea at this juncture.

Her blow may not have hit the desired target, but there was something extremely gratifying about getting the drop on an opponent and seeing the look of genuine surprise on their face. She had to hand it to the senshi for being able to dodge her strike, though she wouldn’t openly praise her enemy. No, she would have to earn it by doing more than dodging one of her attacks, and Mica was bringing her spear for another strike.
In response to her question, she gave a simple answer, smiling sweetly even when her blade was raised high for a second blow. “Mica. Your enemy. Now die…”
Mica wasn’t interested in names, spheres, or anything else when it came to the enemy. When she was left to her own devices, she would follow the most basic of rules when it came to approaching her enemy-- kill on sight.

Well, at least Megrez now had a name to inquire about if she survived the scuffle. It did occur to her that her enemy wasn't expecting such an outcome; if she expected her to survive, she probably wouldn't have given her her name to run away with. And how could she smile while wielding a weapon and a death threat? That was incredibly unsettling. Megrez was too "in the moment" to be afraid of dying right now, however. She hopped backwards, conjured an egg, and whipped it at Mica as hard as she could. This person was probably- no, definitely tougher than a youma; if she couldn't at least bruise her or chase her off once all three eggs were used up, she was going to be in legitimate trouble. ChibiGingi Is it okay if I have Megrez dodge for a few more posts before I have her take a hit/call Gunn in?

Most of the Mica time didn't care for a Senshi's powers and when she did, it was only because she had failed to strike them down before they had the chance to use it on her. This time around, when the senshi dodged and turned to attack her, she got a good look at her magic and she instintively dodged, not getting a good enough look to notice exactly what it was until it splattered against the concrete next to her foot.
Curiosity demanded she look down at the projectile that her enemy threw at her, and it legitimately stopped her in her tracks and forced her to take a second look. Was that an egg? Did the Senshi summon an egg and throw it at her? Mica fought down the urge to laugh, though there was only so much of it that she could keep in, as a hint of her chuckles escaped as she spoke to her opponent. "Eggs? Or perhaps you reign over chickens? Either way, I'm afraid you're wading at the shallow end of the dream pool on this one..."
Which meant any notion of sparing her for Zinkenite or another General-King to bring over was out the window. What use would the Negaverse have with this one? "I'll make your demise quick..."Sami-Fire Sure thing! Bring her in at any time. c:

Megrez just scowled and stayed quiet. There was no point to dignifying that taunt with a response. Perhaps if she had a little more time and things weren't quite so urgent, she would have shot back, but considering that there was a spear pointed at her and a Negaverse General who had full intent to kill her, it wasn't going to happen. Jumping back again to put some distance between her and Mica, she flung one more egg at her. If this didn't hit either, she'd be in some trouble. There'd be no way she could take down another person with just one egg. Ideally, this next egg would hit and she could save the last one for her escape, but whether that was in the plans for her or not remained to be seen. ChibiGingi Feel free to score a hit on Megrez if you'd like (well, a flesh wound), and then I'll call Gunn in.

Had they not been enemies this day, Mica may have been proud of this senshi for not falling for her taunt, but that only seemed to encourage the general to bring a swift end to the fight. If she wasn’t going to talk, then there was no need to drag this encounter out any longer than it needed to be. Especially when the second one exploded next to her leg and got that disgusting goo on her dress.
Mica wasn’t they type to express disgust or anger when it came to vanity, but this was a raw egg. It was dangerous and it would smell rancid if not removed in a timely manner. That, and it was more of the fact that she had the nerve to think of facing off against an enemy with eggs that really set her off. Mica simply had enough, and her next strike was at an upward arch, and if her opponent didn’t jump back, they’d get a nasty cut from their naval and upwards… not a killing blow, but enough to render them useless as she went for the killing blow. Sami-Fire Feel free to have it nick her bow or clothing.

Okay, so that one was... sort of a hit? Getting some egg goop on the enemy was better than nothing. Wait, no it wasn't, especially not in a situation like this. That was two eggs down and one to go. Megrez had no choice but to get out of there before she ended up an egg-kabob. Mica's strike was quick, though, and Megrez reflexively raised her arms to block the hit. For obvious reasons, this was not the brightest course of action, and while she was successful in blocking the hit, she now had a sizable gash on her right arm. It had been a very long time since she had felt that slicing, cutting sort of pain, and for a moment, the scene of her car accident years back flashed before her eyes: the crunching of metal, the sensation of broken glass slicing across and cutting into her skin. She couldn't help it; in that moment, she yelped in pain. It didn't quite have the duration to be called a proper scream, but it was a bit longer and louder than the average yelp. Megrez felt her heart skip a beat as the fear of not being able to escape this woman struck her. Would she even be able to get out of this situation alive, even if she ran? romeo wilco Flashing the Bat-Gunn signal! By the way, let me know when you want me to start the RP after this where Megrez gets that lecture from Gunn and I will.

Gunn wasn't the type to get involved in others' fights, mostly because her aura-sensing was substandard and she knew it; what she thought was a first stage Negaverse officer was more likely to be two of them, or maybe a Captain. But she did have a good sense for first level Order signatures, courtesy of her own time as a Sailor Scout and her association with Megiddo, so when she sensed a single low-level Order senshi and a... Well, it was either a lot of Negaversers or a really strong single. Either way, when she went to investigate, it was a break in her patrolling that she wanted to make a habit of if she could. Her wingmen needed to be looked after, that was the long and short of it. She came upon a first-level senshi she half recognized by Megiddo's description and half by the yolk painting the alleyway, a Negaverse officer she did not recognize, and bright red blood. Rather than panicking, rather than needing to step back and re-evaluate, Gunn's world went crystal clear and ice cold. "Megrez!" It was a risk, a big one, to guess at the senshi's name, but Gunn had to catch her attention now. "Get clear!" By the time Gunn hit the alley floor, she'd completed the incantation for her Eternal attack. Sparks flew around her like her own personal asteroid ring and when Gunn shouted, they exploded into flame, a tower of it separating the General and the sailor scout. When the flames cleared, a scant twenty seconds later, she wasted no time. Gunn hauled a** to grab the bleeding senshi and slung her over her shoulder, then hopped up to the rooftops and ******** booked it, intent on putting as much distance as she could between herself, Megrez, and that General. ChibiGingi and Gunn and Megrez are O U T!! Sami-Fire you can start the next thread whenever!

The sight of blood that trailed her spear's path, as big or small as it may have been, was always a welcomed sight to the general, and while it didn't leave a big enough mark on her victim, she'd simply have to do better in the next strike. And she had every intention of finishing the fight right then and there. She wasted no time with words and was going in for the kill when she felt the ping of a strong Order aura, followed immediately by her shouting the other Senshi's name. Mica turned her head to the approaching senshi and had not recognized her, though it hardly mattered. This one was on the same level as her and was apparently made of stronger stuff than this one, and whoever she was was on the attack.
There were few things that Mica thought could force her back, but these flames were definitely one of them. It was fierce and hot, and she immediately sought to back away from the wildfire that erupted in front of her, bringing her hands and spear to the front as she jumped away from it. It would mean giving up her prey, but as confident as she was in her own strength and abilities, she knew enough to know that fire burned, no matter what state she was in. "Dammit..."
It had taken longer than she would have liked before the flames finally began to die away, and by then, it was too late. Her initial target and the Eternal were gone, and Mica found herself more agitated than angry. She had wasted too much time and now the enemy remained two senshi stronger... the next time she'd meet either one, she'd be sure to correct that mistake.
