it was really nice out, winter wrap up had gone by fast here thanks to the magic and it was already starting to warm up. the smell of spring was in the air, and that sunset, it was the definition of a perfect spring evening. birds could be heard chirping in the near by trees. Razor sure was enjoying the walk he went on, but it was short lived when he came across some pony else. Razor then looked at the earth pony mining away, hearing 'Clang Clang' as the the pony swung his pick, and finally managing to dislodge a chunk of iron ore, so walking up to Iron stud looking rather amused. "your at it again dude, come on." he said placing a hoof to his forehead and shaking no, closing his eyes in the process. Razor was glade he had gotten the evening off, even though he had paper work to do, sense he was second in command of the guard, every pony needed a rest after all. "besides, its to nice of an evening to work, what you need is some R and R." Razor blade stated, looking at iron stud. he didn't know iron personally, though he has had his tools and weapons repaired by him in the past. soon Razor blade's pet finally ran up. "Bark" the dog said, dropping a stick. Razor gave a smile. "oh, there you are Thunder, I was wondering were you ran off to." Razor said as he gave Thunder a pat on the head. in which was replied by two happy sounding. "Woof Woof."

Razor gave a smile. "oh, I really enjoy the curved sword you made, really fast, and the battle axe, boy is that heavy, but I love to swing that beast around." he said giving a laugh. he really enjoyed playing with different weapons, getting a feeling for them was the best thing Razor ever felt. " but I think you could use a beer or two, you always look so tense, you need to loosen up a bit, after all, life isn't just work..." Razor added as he trotted over picking up a small peace of iron from the pile stud had been forming. Thunder gave a huff in agreement. placing the iron ore back down he then picked up the stick and tossed it, thunder chasing after it once more./ just then Razor let out a long yawn. "oh, pardon me... work has been brutal lately, we've been getting so many recruits, its a hell load of paper work to go through, and with shining armor on his honey moon, I've been practically the only one doing it lately, at least he came by to give me a breather." Razor said his head lowering as a wave of tiredness swept over him. suddenly Thunder came running back and dropped the stick once more, which caused Razor to regain his composure. "then again, why am I complaining, more recruits mean stronger defenses, which also means if the changelings attack again we will be ready." he said giving a faint smile, though his sleepiness was showing through.

"yea, tell me about it, couple days ago he called me something I rather not repeat for, 'hindering his project' while I was answering somepony else's complaint about him." Razor said, his ears tilting back as he recalled the rather colorful language nis had used. that's when Razor glanced up to see Pegasus moving random clouds about, which made Razor raise an eyebrow in confusion. "just how early did those pegesi schedule a rain shower this year, I hope it isn't for tomorrow." he said to himself, thinking out loud.

"Well, there was this one, long staff with a sword blade at the end." Razor stated, watching thunder collapse to the ground, dizzy. "Then again, I don't know when ill be able to practice with it." Razor was one busy stallion, being part of the royal guard and all. Getting up he let out a laugh. "But I'm sure I could squeeze a few minutes to practice." At that moment Razor realized it was getting rather dark. "Holy, is it that time already, best head home I guess, got a lot of paper work in the morning..." He trailed off as he let out a whistle. "Come on Thunder, time to go." Razor said, Thunder getting up rather wobbly and following.
