Mintaka hadn't heard of the attacks on the Dark Mirror Court yet, but she had felt the mass source of power signatures together and disappear in the matter of the time it happened.
She hadn't been in time to find or get involved but she wanted to know what it was, how it happened.
She felt the drop of a chaos energy, stopping from her patrol on the roofs and dropping down to ground level.
She didn't announce herself yet, expecting that if she did, it would be one of the more violent types.

Sailor Canopus wasn't sure when she had felt the ping of a nearby Order aura sneak up on her, but she certainly wasn't expecting there to be a White Moon senshi standing there when she turned around. Given just how shot her nerves were from recent events, she was surprised she hadn't let out a blood curling scream when there was someone standing behind her. No, all she did was stare at the White Moon senshi with wide, tearful eyes and had taken a step back, giving herself a moment to try and recollect herself before she addressed Mintaka.
In all honesty she was surprised she even realized she was there at all. She hadn't made a sound outside of her feet hitting the ground and she had't said anything, which didn't help Canopus' nerves in the least. Who was she? Why wasn't she saying anything? Was she part of the ambush? Or maybe she just so happened to be passing by and wasn't part of the chaos that went on. Was she the one that carried her out of there, per chance?
No, she wasn't. She couldn't have been. The one that carried her out had wings on her bow and soft, animal pelt on her shoulders... this one? Completely different, and totally new. Finally, Canopus found her voice, and she got straight to the point, disgusted with just how soft and meek she sounded in her own ears right now. "Um... are you... going to attack me too?"

Mintaka prepared for the inevitable attack, as she looked the female over. Not Negaverse, which left the Dark mirror court, and she didn't dislike the dark mirror court senshi at all.
"Pardon?" Mintaka looked over her shoulder as if expecting someone else. Attack you? Not her. "Oh...Oh forgive me, you're talking to me." Mintaka laughed awkwardly.
"That was a moment, You startled me with well...your question. Good evening." Mintaka smiled at the other senshi, as if to ease the girls worries. "I am not here to attack you! I'm not very fond of fighting all together, and usually don't do it unless well...my life is threatened?"
She didn't step after the girl, because it was much like talking to a small animal. She took a step and it could blow up in her face. Instead she laced hands together, bowing her head a bit. "I'm Mintaka, Senshi of Origami, and of the white moon court. It's a pleasure to meet you-" She prompted, waiting for the girl's response.

Canopus wasn't sure what to make of their encounter, but the fact that she wasn't immediately rushing forward to beat her down was enough of a relief for the moment. Of course, her act could have been nothing more than a ruse to cause her to drop her guard, but it would have been successful, as she couldn't help but allow some measure of relief sweep over her.
Better the White Moon than the Negaverse, right? Canopus was so confused...
Mintaka's laughter and the explanation that followed did offer her some measure of relief. She had startled her? Wasn't it the other way around? Canopus wasn't going to argue with her though; if she had no intentions of attacking her, then Canopus wouldn't give her a reason to. "Well... I don't intend to threaten your life, not tonight, or... any night, really."
That that she felt she was capable of doing such a thing anyways. She couldn't even fight to defend herself... the very idea of attacking someone else right now might as well have been a foreign concept to her right now. At least this one seemed nice... for now. "Nice to meet you, Mintaka. I'm Canopus... Senshi of Longevity. I'm sorry if I startled you... I'm just a bit jumpy..."

"Really a pleasure Canopus! Especially since I didn't have to get punched in the face before introductions!" Mintaka bounced a little, excited to meet another DMC that was willing to talk and not fight!
"You sphere power is very much akin to your worries." Mintaka noted, "I guess it makes sense that you'd worry about things like attack and such when you are longevity." A sympathic smile played on her face, nodding her head.
"I don't blame you, it's hard not to be when you don't know who's going to come at you and if they are an enemy or not. Really, be rest assured that I will do no such thing."
She gnawed at her lip. "If you don't mind me asking, but is there a reason you are jumpy around the white court?"

Once the threat of immediate danger had passed, Canopus had eased into a more relaxed set of mind, though the differences between the two were marginal at best. She had trusted this one enough to know that she wasn't just going to be attacked or ambushed, but still, that didn't mean that someone else wasn't going to just come along and try to take advantage of either of them. She tugged as her braided hair but otherwise tried to remain still as Mintaka expressed her excitement. "No... I don't think I'm capable of punching someone like that, even if it'd mean to save my life."
Now if it meant to save another's in her court, then it'd definitely be worth it, but still, she had a hard time thinking herself as being capable of doing it. She took in Mintaka's analysis of her sphere and couldn't help but think that she was definitely onto something with it... "You... do make a good point. I guess when they mean longevity, they mean preserving life, or information. So maybe you're onto something? As for your question, I don't mind you asking... but I guess it's just my nerves are a little rattled from a recent attack against my court. Not just from your court and some knights, but... but the Negaverse as well."

Everything stopped. Even the questioning of the girl.
Negaverse had attacked the Dark mirror court. that was a big deal and important. Mintaka pursued her lips, as it filtered in her brain. Not just Chaos, Senshi....White court senshi had aided in the attack.
"I'm sorry." She started, "Though I am sure there is no way that could cover what had happened to you. Had I known that such a devilish coup was in the works, I would've been there to reason with my own court in the disadvantage of attacking the dark mirror court. I hold nothing against you-" She frowned, "And I owe your court, most specifically Chariklo, a great debt."
She ran a hand through her hair, mussing it up in frustration. It seemed no matter where she went, attacks became complicated, alignments were useless. There was no order from either side.
"Did....Was anyone seriously injured?" She asked because she did care, but she hoped that Chariklo was not one of them. She figured Remarque could handle himself.

It was all just too confusing for Canopus, and for so long, she had tried to be strong for the sake of others. She spent so much time diving into others' problems and solving them, all so that she could avoid having to cope with her own. No one knew much about her or her ordeals she hid from others, and her habit of picking others apart and focusing on them was to distract her from the fact that she was just as weak and vulnerable, if not more so, as those she sought to help. Now that she was alone, she felt exposed... what could she do besides confide in Mintaka?
"It's... it's not your fault. I mean, I guess I can't blame those them... after all, the White Moon senshi are our enemies so I shouldn't have been surprised that they were there. But... the Negaverse..." She tugged at her ponytail some more, pulling a few strands but hardly noticing it as she rambled on softly. "I knew we were no longer allies, just... I misunderstood what that had meant. We were fools to trust them."
Mintaka had mentioned Chariklo and it was enough for Canopus to break out of her revelry. This senshi knew Chariklo? Then she was obviously a friend... how foolish of her to have been afraid of her in the first place. That alone was enough to sooth her anxieties and her smile was small, but genuine. However, it was short lived, as she had to admit the injuries that plagued their court. "A few. Avior was hurt protecting me. Our Princess Leto, she... she was fortunate to have made it out at all, from what I gathered. I'm... I'm not sure about anyone else."
She couldn't think of the condition those two were in. What if they had died? She had to get her mind off of it. "You own Chariklo a debt? How?"

"We shouldn't be enemies." Mintaka argued, "Just because your energy stems from Chaos doesn't mean we should be. I've talked to to others and I just-" Mintaka shook her head.
"There is no reason for bloodshed when words can solve the problem." She just couldn't get past her ideals that in a world already filled with violence, that they were brought here from the universe to continue the cycle.
"I'm sorry, about your friend and your princess." Mintaka wanted to reach out, but was afraid the girl would reject her, so played with her hands instead.
"Because She punched me in the face." It was said so flatly, it was hard to take serious...or was it?

Canopus began to silently wish that she had met Mintaka before the ambush happened. As it was now, she had no doubt that the other senshi's heart and motives were pure, but the doubt layed within herself. She was a mess and she wanted to believe her, but maybe it was just too soon. "I... wish others in your court could think that. Even my court... after this, it'll likely be that they never trust anyone again. Or maybe that's just me."
She shook her head, tugging at her ponytail and paying little mind to the strands she ripped out. She hardly felt them. "I'm sorry. I'm just lashing out right now... I don't hate you, or really anyone in your court. It was a member of your court that pulled me out of there, so I know not all of you called for our deaths. I'm sorry... it'll just take some getting used to for me."
If she could not even trust the aura of Chaos like she did once before... what could she trust?
Despite her own turmoils, she found herself confused by the statement, and she wasn't afraid to show it. She owed Chariklo a debt, and it was because she punched her in the face? It took her a moment to realize what she meant, and when she did, she couldn't stop the nervous chuckle from breaking past her defenses. "Oh, oh, that kind of debt. Well, I don't know if she got hurt. I'm sure she's fine... she's strong and brave, and she taught me out to fight, so... I'm sure she's fine."

Mintaka smiled at the confusion.
"She punched me in the face, and then taught me how to defend myself so I didn't get myself killed." Mintaka tugged at her gloves, "I have no ill will against her, if that's what you're assuming. Chaos orientated....members that I have met have this thing about punching in the face. Forgive me, it was a personal joke."
"I'm hoping so too. If you see her, will you tell her to come see me so I can check up on her?" Mintaka cocked her head. "Would it be easier for me to leave you now then? I don't want to force you to talk to me if you're still uncomfortable with ...my court." She was glad to hear at least that a white moon had helped the girl out.
She wondered if she should find that senshi. "I've met your prince Remarque as well. Quite the gentleman. I have a promise to him as well....he wasn't...injured was he?"

”Well, that’s… certainly interesting.” Canopus tried to envision such an encounter and from the one time she had met Chariklo, she could picture that kind of encounter going quite well. Chariklo was a tough teacher and seemed like the type to instruct with tough love like that. The fact that she used such a tactic with Mintaka, though… perhaps Chariklo saw hope in rescuing this one? “Sounds like Chariklo to me. The next time I see her, I’ll let her know how well you’re doing… I’m sure she’ll be happy to hear about that!”
She felt bad about the idea of chasing Mintaka away, especially now that she could clearly see that she wasn’t all that bad. She was just… jumpy and on edge, and it was likely that she’d be this way for some time. It was just something that Canopus had to get over in her own way, that’s all. She shook her head slowly, “No, you’re fine. You don’t scare me… Chariklo saw good in you, and so do I, so it’s alright. I need to be going soon, but it’s not because you scared me away, alright? It’s not your fault… I just need to… go check on things.”
In regards to Prince Remarque, she nodded softly. “He’s a little on edge, but understandable. He watched his court mates suffer and probably feels responsible… I can imagine he’s quite angry at the Negaverse as well. But he’s strong… he’ll tend to Princess Leto and take care of us. I’m sure of it.”

"That's good." Mintaka sighed in relief, "Yes Chariklo is not quite the lady I envision but, she was kind in her own way. Thank you for passing the message on!"
As well, Mintaka understood the need to get away, and she had no intention of forcing Canopus to face her if she wasn't ready. Or face the order court. "I understand..." She reached into a hidden pocket of somewhere on her uniform, pulling out a small piece of paper and pen, writing her number on it. "If you ever need me? or wanna talk or anything, I'm usually free. Here you go." She set the paper on the ground and stepped away. "Please be careful in your patrols tonight Canopus." She nodded.
"Ah that's a relief." She added lastly, "I wish your court time to heal, again, if you ever need me." She pointed to the note and smiled. "I hope to talk to you again Senshi Canopus!" She bowed her head respectfully before turning to walk away. Perhaps it would be good to return home now and do her studies. She felt better knowing that the Dark court would pull together. Hopefully they would be alright. She dearly wished for it.ChibiGingi I present to you a wrap tag on my end o vo <3

Canopus rather adored Chariklo, though she'd never be the one to openly admit it to her, mostly in fear that the Seagull senshi might have taken offense to that statement. She was tough, but nurturing in her own way, and Canopus respected that too much to want to risk hurting her feelings.
What Canopus wasn't expecting was for the senshi to actually pull out a pen and paper and give her her phone number. The Dark Mirror senshi accepted it without a fuss, though she couldn't prevent the dumbfounded look from highlighting her features for a moment as she took the piece of paper into her hands. She looked it over but only briefly, before turning her dark violet gaze back to Mintaka.
She was so nice and kind when she had no reason to be... she feared for Mintaka's safety within the White Moon court, but it was still a relief to know that she had someone to talk to and a friend on the other side. Though, for how much longer? Perhaps Mintaka could be saved...
"Thank you so much... it really means a lot," Canopus said, trying her best not to tear up. There was no sorrow in them, but joy and some relief, and she waved to the departing senshi. "What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger, and we will endure. I'm sure of it. Good bye!"
Yes, they would endure. Even if they had no allies, they would endure. Canopus would see to it.Nyxtsuki Moon Woot, woot! And this is my wrap! Thanks again! Let me know if you ever want to RP again?
