*** I think that kids of this generation don't know much about the old nusery rymes that some of us grew up loving. As a child I grew up with some of the old nusery rymes and mother goose tales that I think all children should be able to hear. So I will be posting many of the old rymes and stories here ***

Sing A Song Of Sixpence

Sing a song of sixpence a pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds baked in a pie.
When the pie was opened the birds began to sing,
Oh wasn't that a dainty dish to set before the king?
The king was in his counting house counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlour eating bread and honey
The maid was in the garden hanging out the clothes,
When down came a blackbird and pecked off her nose!
