I was woken up at 4 AM 'cause my dog started barking, and I couldn't fall asleep again. Probably against my better judgement, I bought a 20-pack of Project NPC Apprentice II and started opening them.

And this happened.

Combined with the other 20-pack that I bought and opened before bed, I got it after opening about 30 of them. I feel like I just won the lottery!

I'm still in shock, and it's been an hour already. I've been lurking around the Project NPC Apprentice forum, and this thing is so rare that people are offering their souls and their first born child for a ticket. Some people are even doubting the ticket's existence.

I'm most definitely NOT selling this thing. The special achievement and custom NPC art...and potential interaction with a Gaia NPC is a dream come true. No amount of virtual currency can replace that (especially with how more of it keeps showing up). But...Which avatar do I pick? What greeting lines do I pick? Which NPC do I work with? D:

5/12/14 UPDATE: My Apprentice request has been approved!!!!! No actual ETA on my appearance yet, but the FAQ said around 30 business days.
The avatar and dialogue I submitted were very similar to the ones that won the Preparations for Apprenticeship contest with some minor changes here and there. There is ONE surprise line, though! x3
I'll update this thread again if I get any more news. ^^

The Emerald Ticket lets you become a shop NPC's apprentice for 1 month. You get 1 billion gold, an exclusive achievement, and custom art drawn by a Gaia artist.

I highly doubt that people will try to hack an account for the ticket. I mean...You'll need to get a virus or malware onto my computer in order to steal my password, or somehow break into the Gaia servers and decrypt specifically my password. Both of these are illegal and require A LOT of work. You'll get more bang for your buck getting into a bank account than a Gaia account. I think most people who get "hacked" just shared their passwords with other people and forgot about it, or they fell for phishing scams.

EDIT: Oh and there are definitely more than 1 in existence. The artist who's working on these said that she has already been contacted by other users, but they're all trying to figure out the perfect avi or lines.

Strange. Hope you got the items back, especially if it was a MP listing 'cause there's definitely a record for those.

I'm really considering working with Cresento 'cause...well...Loyalty to Alchemy runs deep. At the same time, Louie is tempting 'cause I hopped on that fangirling train the moment it showed up on the horizon. xD

On a semi-related note, I'm almost positive that I'll pick Cresento to work with, so I'm thinking of having a couple contests in the guild to help me make an avi and pick some lines. I like Sphyxia's idea of promoting the guild, but I think I'll make it subtle. Like, drop some hints about screaming mushrooms and lost manuscripts. x3

Cresento was introduced while I was on hiatus from Gaia, so I don't really know much about him. I'm digging through the manga to see what he's like so that I can get a better idea of what my lines and avi should be. I'm liking him so far, though! ^^
