Merikh and Yolana were on their way toward the ocean. They weren't heading home, not yet at least, but he had decided that the two of them should give it a go to try to find and battle some of the water based dragons called Peisio. He had only seen them from a distance while he took various ship rides from continent to continent. He'd seen them but he had never had the chance to actually battle with one, something that he felt that he needed to remedy and soon. Turning to look over at Yolana he said, "I think that it will be an interesting sort of battle, provided of course that some of them bother to show up." Not as though they were something he could really sneak up on, not easily at least, not when they spent alot of their time under water.
"I am still not sure if the orbs I have thus far are quite worthy of giving to Lord Draco but I might be getting closer." Something that Yolana agreed with by giving a little grunt. Giving a nod Merikh turned forward once more... and then blinked a couple times when a rather large dragon came down and landed in front of them, giving a rumbling growl. Merikh blinked then gave a bit of a laugh, "Come to challenge me? Angry about me killing those other Firani, perhaps?" He found it amusing, that the thing was here for some sort of revenge. As if that were even an option for the beast, he knew full well that he could defeat them, that they were actually fairly easy to deal with. He'd finish this one off and just be on his way.
He didn't even look over at Yolana instead merely saying, "Give me just a second." He said as he started forward, taking his large sword off of his back, and with one swift strike he took the head off the dragon. It's head hit the sand, followed by its body, before it crumbled away. The dragon was obviously young, too young to be facing him that was for certain. He walked over to where the Firani Orb had landed, scooping it up, and then turned back to Yolana, "Come on, Yolana, let's keep going."
