Quinn felt like she was suffocating. She was avoiding patrolling (for good reason) and she was avoiding her own home (also for very good reason). So while she appreciated everything that Zac was doing for her while she was recovering and avoiding, well, pretty much everything ever... She desperately needed an escape. To get out of the apartment she had two options: Power up and go through a mirror, or somehow climb up and out of the skylight that Lena so frequently used.

Staring up at the skylight for a few moments, Quinn considered scrambling to get up to it. While her identity was well-known amongst the Negaverse, she wasn't entirely sure how comfortable she was powering up in a building that consisted solely of Negaverse agents that may or may not want to kill her. Glancing down at her right hand, which was now casted and full of pins, she groaned and looked back up at the skylight.

Not a chance in hell.

Her fingers grasped her henshin pen and she was instinctively calling out to her asteroid. Once powered, she scrambled as quickly as she possibly could to the nearest mirror, before she was found out. Exiting in Destiny City's largest park, Leto took an enormous gasp of fresh air, reveling in the coolness of the outdoors. A black and white cat (that seemed partially shaved?) went completely unnoticed until he pushed himself against her boots. Leto groaned when she looked down to see the Guardian Cat that had been annoyingly insistent upon following her and constantly apologizing since the ambush in the warehouse. She said nothing to him at first, and decided to walk to take her mind off of the pain she felt all over.

"Princess?" Tyrus called up to her, and Leto ignored him until he called up to her a second time.

"What!?" She yelled down at the large cat that flinched under her glare.

"I... I feel an unawakened Senshi. Here. C-close by, I think." He would do anything he can to make up for participating in the ambush; for taking part in something that had nothing to do with his precious Senshi on the side of Chaos. Maybe helping Leto to awaken a new Dark Mirror Senshi would begin to make up for that.

Leto stared down at Tyrus for a few seconds in silence, before taking a breath and nodding slightly. "Okay. Alright, lead the way."

And with that, a large grin spread upon Ty's maw and he lead the Senshi of Camouflage to the general area in which he was convinced an unawakened Senshi was.

"Come out, come out wherever you are," Leto cooed into the emptiness. The park was mostly deserted at this time since the weather wasn't quite nice enough just yet, so she hoped that they would have a relatively easy time finding their target.

It became clear to Leto very quickly that she had freaked the poor girl out. She cringed and made a note to self: No more creepy voice when you're approaching people you want on your side. Plastering on the most normal, not crazy smile that she could possibly muster up, Leto approached her, Tyrus weaving between her feet as she walked.

"Hi," the Senshi said, before Tyrus cut her off.

"You have pretty eyes!" Ty called up to the girl, completely enthralled with their orange and blue colors. "Ohhh and your hair is super neat too!" He stood on his hind legs, his front paws folded over at his chest like a meerkat as he tried to get a better look at her.

Leto closed her eyes and took a breath to force herself not to swat the stupid cat away. She was sure that the poor girl would freak out over the talking cat and she would just have to awaken her without schmoozing first. In her mind, a forced awakening was never a very good way to start off a new friendship. Ugh.

"It keeps me warm. Why else would one wear a scarf, silly!?" Ty's maw split into a stupid Cheshire cat-like grin.

Leto's foot jabbed at the cat, causing him to drop back down to all fours and glare up at the Senshi. "You're no fun!"

"Just shut up. Stop talking, you're freaking her out!" Leto hissed between clenched teeth before turning her scowl quickly into what she hoped was a kind smile. It probably wasn't. It was probably creepy

This was the weirdest awakening in the history of ever. She seriously just needed to get this over with. With a sigh, Leto concentrated and let her Eternal fuku seemingly melt away, to be replaced by a torn skirt, golden bra and a bear's pelt draped over her shoulders. Large black wings forced their way painfully out of her back with a grunt and a random curse word.

As quickly as she powered up, the Black Mirror appeared behind Lavender.

"I'm really sorry. This totally isn't how I wanted to do this," was all Leto said before pushing the girl through the Black Mirror's surface. The glass shattered and absorbed into Lavender's skin as she disappeared through the mirror. When she was spit back out, she was Lavender no more- she appeared before Leto as Sailor Chione.

It's purpose fulfilled, the Black Mirror disappeared and Leto's power dropped back down to that of an Eternal Senshi, leaving her completely exhausted. She sank to the ground and closed her eyes for a brief moment, nudging at Tyrus expectantly.

"Huh?" He stared at Leto as she lay on the floor. Now was surely not the time to take a nap! He pawed at her face and meowed rather annoyingly.

"Name. Sphere." Leto grunted and pointed in the direction of the new born Dark Mirror Senshi.

"Oh!" Ty cleared his throat and adjusted his bowtie. "Sailor Chione, Senshi of Blizzards!" Doing a backflip, the Senshi's henshin pen appeared and landed softly on the ground at Chione's feet.

"They are some pretty amazing looking shoes," Leto mumbled as she peaked an eye open over at her newly awakened Senshi.

When Chione kneeled down, Tyrus took that as a prime opportunity to climb not-so-gracefully up her back and onto her shoulders. He draped himself across them like a shawl, one paw outstretched and dangling casually as if he was completely chill and relaxing. Everything was completely normal! "She'll be fineeeeee~" he said and headbutted the Senshi's head, purring loudly into her ear. "I'm a Guardian Cat of Chaos and that there is Sailor Leto, a Princess of the Dark Mirror Court. You going through that fancy pants mirror that appeared? That made you a Sailor Scout as well! Except you're not a regular boring ol' Sailor Scout, you're a Dark Mirror one and that means you get to do all sorts of neat stuff like walk through mirrors which is the coolest thing ever and feels super weird and I bet you'll love it!"

Tyrus probably wasn't helping to make things any less confusing.

Leto groaned and rolled her eyes, "Sorry about him. He owed me a favor, I don't normally have him following me everywhere like this." She waved a hand in the air and bent her legs at the knees as she stared up at the darkening evening sky. "It's a very long, complicated story," she started, then pointed up at the stars that began to blink into existence above them. "But us Senshi a long long time ago... We lived up there. And the Dark Mirror Court is trying to figure out a way to get away from the war that is starting here on Earth between the Negaverse and the White Moon Senshi. You may have heard bits and pieces of this sort of stuff on the news lately. There was a piece done by Tag Swagger on it?"

She turned her attention back to Chione. "Essentially, you were reborn to this planet and destined to be... Well, a magical girl in a fancy outfit. Apparently your power is that of Blizzards. I'm the Senshi of Camoflage, myself. Leto, like the dumb cat mentioned." Offering Chione a smile, she pushed herself onto her elbows. "We can go over it all in more detail when we're not sitting ducks in the middle of a park that happens to be like, the center of all the crazy s**t that goes on in this city." She laughed and sat up completely. Concentrating on the surrounding area to feel for power signatures, Leto carefully stood up and moved to the nearest tree. Ensuring that there was no one besides Tyrus and Chione nearby, she easily slipped back into her civilian identity.

"Just think about being you. When you do it, and when you power up, make sure that there is no one around to compromise your identity. Go ahead... Then we can get outta here and get you all sorted out!"

Quinn couldn't help but laugh. After all of the years of being a Senshi, she had forgotten how completely overwhelming and strange all of this would be to someone that hadn't any idea a war was raging through Destiny City. "I'm sorry," she offered Lavender a smile, scrunching her nose slightly. "I forget sometimes that this isn't... Normal."

Her head tilted to the side slightly and she hooked her arm around Lavender's. She shot Ty a quick glance before essentially pulling Lavender along the path in the park. "Let's go get a coffee or something at my place. I'll try and explain everything a little better, 'kay? We'll do a whole, like, Q'n'A session or whatever. It'll all make sense eventually, I promise!"

And with that, Quinn led her new-found friend and teammate to her apartment. Where hopefully, things would seem more normal and infinitely less complicated.
