as i go thru new things, more and more of my own stories ideas are failing me t the moment but more characters and extras are needed anyways.other stories of skyrim, dragons dogma, metal gear, castlevania custom stories usually revolve around the main stories just with side pieces. but my main story needs some more soldiers.. countries..names even weapons. as i went for a fire emblem radient dawn feel to it where the armies are set up seperatly then all joined in th end agains one huge army...but at the moment im havin blocks, this story even has a side story to the end of radient dawn but only the trueblades, nephennee, and ike.anyways...i might get some ideas from some talking..

The only things I can really think to stress would be please, please, please don't fall into the trap of trying to accomplish a scale of a story that you can't handle. Make sure your characters are up to stuff, and not two dimensional just to fit their purpose story-wise.

Also, might be worthwhile to incorporate proper spelling and grammar into your day-to-day typing to get into the habit, if this is a hobby you'd like to continue.

i made characters when i was in 7th grade..they looked bad, during highschool i learned more with photoshop and my friend decided to help me with the story here on gaia with many others in our guild. some scenes are in my head but whatever i see i write down for later reference. after highschool was over i learned how to use painttool sai and that helped me fix up and detail my characters and friends characters the ways we wanted, sometimes we upgrade them. but as of now they look fine as they are. we're already in chapter 3 at the moment. of a 20 chapter for each set. only chapter 3 because he goes to job corps so i only get to see him on certain weekends. but i've had this in my head ever since i started it... but it only gets better the more i experience..some of it is real life events.. as most of the characters are real people, as my friend skyler has a disease... so she does in this..me helping rose and skyler when we first met as children from a bully is just how it is in the story how they met. but this is during the medievil times since that was my most favorite period of time. but most inspiration was from zelda since that was my first game ever and favorite series, and people see my character and compare it to link just for green clothes and a sword... and fire emblem just for its style...

Something that I notice happens when people try to come up with a story is that they focus so much on their main character's backstories and what is immediately important to the story that they have a lot of trouble coming up with a convincing world. I've seen a lot of people who have a vague idea of some kind of creation myth or important event that happened way back when, but when it comes to what people do day-to-day or fleshing out cultures or individual worlds, landscapes, and people on the side, I get a lot of blank stares.

My advice to you is to come up with some questions for yourself.

For example, you said you have a bunch of different armies in such from different places? Well, how about the people in those armies? Does their nation have a big focus on military or are there some armies made up of militiamen? Do they have special divisions? Are the people in those special divisions treated differently or have different societal standings?

What are these nations? Do you base their cultures on a real-life culture (and if you do, be sure to innovate and put things into different contexts to separate yourself from the crowd. Basing things off of real-life cultures is a great thing to do but you need to put in the proper research to make sure you understand why things are the way they are).

If you want a Fire Emblem example of this, look at Tellius and how the individual nations set up their armies based on internal politics and terrain and such.
Crimea is a more rural nation, with lots of farming villages and a greater emphasis on information gathering and bettering the people internally. They were trying to increase relations with the nations around them and focused more on keeping peace which is why they were so easy to conquer. There are members of the local militia participating in warfare and being dragged into bigger conflicts (see Brom and Nepehenee).
Gallia is primarily dense woodland. The temperatures tend to be very hot, and the land is hard to traverse for Beorc. The way the nation was established by escaped Laguz slaves way back when, and they were able to protect their land through guerrilla warfare, they were able to take advantage of the land much more than the Beorc that opposed them. We hear things about their political structure now and then and how it relates and differs to the people, since the ideas of the rulers don't always reflect those of the people (The same goes for Crimea as well). We also see how being descended from slaves still affects the mindset of Gallia's people, and how harsh race relations still run deep.
Begnion is a huge nation, as well as a Theocracy. It is ruled by an Apostle, a Senate, and has many other noble people we don't get to see. There are at least three factions to Begnion's armies: There's the pegasus knights which serve the Apostle directly, the Dracoknights which serve the Senate directly, and the central army which consists of really strong infantry and is friggin' huge. Couple all of that with Begnion's internal corruption and, well... you have a good chunk of FE10's plot.

I'm not even going to go into Daein because it's my favorite of Tellius' nations and I could go on for hours about infighting, the ideas of the royals being only partially reflected in the people, nationalism, racism, all that lovely stuff... I think you get the point by now anyway.

And don't just focus on the army. Focus on how the worlds came to form their ideals, culture, armies, and people. Keep asking yourself questions about these things and come up with answers for them. Keep a notebook or a word document where you can write it all down. And remember, not every little bit has to be included in the final product. This is to inform yourself and flesh out your world. Take it one step at a time and you'll develop something nice.

Also, don't be afraid to do a little research.

Thank you, i consider my Forizia to be like Crimea and my Cryagin being like Daein. i did want the beast tribes based off of a type of japanese culture with the clothes and human weapons. I think so far we've had Forizia's armies main people half way, but Cryagin is sort since my friend only made up a small group of the main people and doesnt know how to create most of the time. I do have the influence of the beast tribes with the race card though like in path of radience when Ranulf was trying to be hidden then found out. but only some of the countries villages or towns act differently towards them.I did have a 4th country started but only one main person. the 3rd is the beast tribes. i'm trying to come up with some names for race names between the 2 and country names. I do have back stories to some caracters rather than just the main characters. and for some reason i think i had the story being told like sonic adventure 2 hiw there was hero and dark story but they're both being played on different sides of the story.i think my trouble right now is names for the humans and others. cause i feel bad calling them sub humans since skylers character is is one of my main characters love interests.
