The story behind the movie

Honesty is always the best policy right? Following the rules is of the utmost importance. But, what if following the rules will only bring about your entire country's destruction?

Those very questions faced Mulan in the first of two movies. Sometimes when the rules will lead to something bad, you must break them.

In Mulan's case, she had to break her father's rule to stay home when China was being invaded by the Huns. Understandably, though, Mulan's father, Zhou was not fit to join the Chinese army.

Mulan chose to risk her own life to save her father's.

In order to join the army, because China was so sexist at the time, Mulan had to dress up as a man. And thus, Fa Ping was going to save China.

Combine someone as brave as Mulan and add an ego-tistical dragon, and you have an unforgettable movie.

What was the most recent lie that you told someone outside of the guild for the greater good of all?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For me, that's a tough one because I am most of the time honest. I guess the lie I tell most often is that my place is clean when it isn't.

Why do I tell people that? Because I am not their Cinderella.
