"You fought really good. If I was your age I'm sure the battle would have ended much differently." she said as she clasped Sauron on the shoulder. Their battle hadn't been a long one, but he had done good. Despite the age difference he hadn't missed her once, and even when she landed damage on him he always got her back.
"So how did you go from being a moss collector to volunteering to fight?" she asked curiously. For her there was no choice, her sisters were warriors. If any of them had opted out of the war... Well it wouldn't be pretty for them. Only those that couldn't fight were able to stay home. It was just who they were.

"Thank you, my parents and grandparents were warriors so I guess I got a little rubbed off on me. It also helps that I am lucky. I want to hit like you one day." He patted her hand companionably. "Your confidence in me means a lot."
"Ahh, well my moss collecting is a hobby I do it in my spare time and dabble in mild healing, I only use it in emergencies though, my larger skills lay in battle. My grandmother was a rider and I have always wanted to follow in her footsteps, the teeth on my necklace are from her radaku. I look forward to the day when I get to have my own. I have already picked him out of the wild, hes white but still young. I don't know if he will be the one I am bequithed with but I hope it will be him." His eyes shone brightly as he spoke about his goals.

She nodded. Ah so he had warriors blood in him. That had to have something to do with it. After all who your ancestors are were a big part of who you were, and since Earthlings weren't all decedents from one mother like her and her sisters were their parents were more important.
Mind healing? That seemed important. There were elders that did somethings like that, she wasn't aware that it was something practiced by those who were young. When he said he wanted to be a rider she nodded. She always found it fascinating that some of the earthlings used mounts as battle creatures. Sure her sisters, such as Maya, had radakus who did things with them but they didn't call themselves riders. They were just warriors who happened to have a companion.
"How interesting. To have skills good for war, but also for peace time is important. After all this war will be over, and it is good that you have other things you can do when it is."

"To that end what do you want to do when the war ends Briella? Settle down, find adventure, find new battles, maybe take up beast taming? I know the quiet life is not for everyone. For myself I hope my wonderful Kelina will stick with me and perhaps we can have a few little shifters to keep us busy." He sighed happily at this picture. "New minds to teach safety and wonder to. Its not easy growing up in the Jahaur forest but it sure is fun." He wondered what Kelina would think about his grand plans. He couldn't wait to tell her that someone had finally tanned his hide though.

She smiled. Settle down, she wished she could be so lucky. "I think settling down sounds good. I have a girl back home, along with a daughter who now has a girlfriend of her own." Beast taming? That was for earthlings, but she wouldn't say anything about it. It was a little annoying that he would suggest it. He seemed happy though, it made her think of little ones. No she was still young, and Kadriye was even younger. "Young minds are the best kind. I remember when my Ilyra was young, so much easier. But also rewarding to watch them grow."
"Just be clear with this Kelina, from the way you are acting I'm sure she doesn't plan on leaving your side either." there was no way you had that silly look on your face unless both parties felt that way.
