In a way, Cade was glad his next opponent was not the kid from before. Not with how Louis had taken the two defeats against that Teddiursa rather personal. He glanced around the field then called out the Psyduck. "Lets do this."

Vana waved to the other and sent out Houri, the torchic could take on a water type right?
Houri looked over the field and found it acceptable, the grass was nice and she was used to sand, having once lived in a desert. Although sand storms where horrible things, all ways messing up her feathers.

Ah finally, though Houri. Surely another bird would understand the fine art of seduction. She was positive that it would work out much better than it had with the arcanine and she wiggled her feathers at the psyduck before tossing him a wink.

If it was possible, Louis would be blushing right now. As it was the Psyduck was almost digging his webbed feet in the dirt bashfully. Would he really have to fight the pretty Torchic? Cade seemed to think so since he called out "Aqua Tail."

Houri almost smiled as it became obvious that her charms had worked their magic on the other bird, and she waved back to him. After which she began to sing him a song.

Louis let out a cry when the attack hit him but afterwards ignored it since he was captivated with the Torchic's song. "Louis, snap out of it and use Aqua Tail!" The Psyduck heard.

Once again Louis ignored Cade's order. He instead sighed happily and glanced around to try and find some flowers for the fire type.

Houri continued to sing her melody to the pysduck as she watched him. So far so good. That trainer of his was annoying, a water type move like that would ruin her pretty feathers! Her feathers where not water proofed like the ducks.

"Louis, come on, you can snap out of this!" Louis heard Cade calling out to him but kept focusing on the Torchic's song. He finally found some flowers and looked between them and her for a moment.

Finally Louis picked the flowers and went over to offer them to the pretty Torchic. Cade facepalmed in the background.

Houri gave Louis a sweet look akin to a gentle smile and accepted the flowers. It took a moment for her to tuck them neatly into her head fathers. She then continued to sing for the other bird.

Louis puffed up a bit when the Torchic accepted his gift. Cade had just kind of given up on yelling directions and was instead sighing and facepamling at his partner.
