((yeah, I'm not even going to try to stay in character here, so pardon me while I go ahead))
Fans and Anons alike all have our favourites. Whether it's about the anons we wait for impatiently each event, the certain types of messages we'd like to recieve, events where we are more active than usual or a person we target especially much.
So, who makes your heart beat a little faster each time you see their signature at the bottom of the letter? Who is it that you simply cannot keep yourself from giftbombing at each given opportunity? Do you like scary anons? Sweet anons? Kinky anons? Would you rather have a poem or a story? Perhaps you like song quotes? Does the item matter? Which season or event do you like the most?
WE WANT TO KNOW IT ALL. emotion_bigheart
So share with us your best experiences. The letters you'll always keep, the anons or fans you'll always stalk, whatever it may be.

I shall start this off by saying that I ALWAYS stalk the Black Lace and Roce Prince Appreciation Guild's threads. I anoned before I found them, and the alias and character came bit earlier as well, but it wasn't before I found them that I felt just like home again. A way I hadn't felt about anoning since I tried it for the first time, years ago. And for that, I am forever thankful. emotion_bigheart

I think my favourite anon has to be Lord Hellyer, my heart does skip a few beats when I get letters from him, what can I say, his poetic writing makes me melt. redface

I haven't heard of him before, but with that description I am sure I would melt through the floor in an instant. I'm such a sucker for poets, and yet I'm a rather lousy one myself. sweatdrop

I'm such a sucker for poets, and yet I'm a rather lousy one myself. sweatdrop He has his own appreciation guild. He's not been around much the past few events but has been quite the prolific writer/gifter at times

Well, I started anoning during one of my first Valentine events in a thread where I simply fell in love with just about everyone. We had such a great time, even besides the gifting, that two perma-threads were eventually made by different threadgoers, and I was co-running one of them. Back then, I had a terrible alias which gave away my identity in a pinch, but most people did that, one way or another. It was eventually changed into something rather silly, yet less obvious, but I liked it somehow... After those threads died off, I somehow found myself in a massive charity thread, where anon gifting was anything but uncommon I happened to be a rather popular target, I'm afraid. Drama happened, as it often does, and eventually I flew far from all that. But then one day, I went into one of those huge anon threads during an event, and had a whole lot of fun. This is where The Sweet Freak first came to be, though it was several events later where I finally went ahead and got a mule... After that one event though, I found a thread I liked much better, and ended up only anoning the people there. So in the end, I hardly knew of any anons that wouldn't pop up there as well. And I suppose it never helped that I tend to take too long with the writing and the picking of gift and person to chat around much, so as the shadow lurker I am, I get to know other anons mainly from when others thank them, or when they post in that thread. INCREDIBLY LONG STORY SHORT; I was away, then I stuck to one single thread where I don't usually post too much, even with my main. I read people's thank you notes and watch others roleplay, and that is basicly how I come to know and admire the other anons. Boy, am I a creep... ninja

I started off being involved in charities and then went to anonning, I found there was less drama in giving anonymous gifts, I still help with a charity thread, don't get me wrong but I gt a better warm and fuzzy feeling when my message gets shared and someone says thank you smile
