Persephone considered this both a rare and an interesting treat. It wasn't often that she had a civilian seek her out - but Damocles had informed her that one was, was asking for her by name, and asking for the girl she used to be. She'd brought him to the park, but she hadn't just brought this darling idiotically brave civilian - Alex, was his name - she had also brought Zinkenite and the corrupt cat Absinthe. Because, well, she had a theory, and she would be remiss if she didn't test it out.
When the blue-haired boy finally arrived, Persephone greeted him with a smile. "Alexander! You'll forgive me for not coming alone, but I have a very important gift to offer you, and General-King Zinkenite and miss Absinthe can help give it to you. Assuming a little hunch of mine is correct. You see, I know you've come seeking Caitlyn, but Caitlyn - well, she's dead. But I know how to help you get revenge against the ones who caused her death."
It was a bit of a Kenobi Truth, but it would do.Alex frowned. He wasn't expecting Persephone plus two - he was expecting Persephone plus some goddamn answers. Which, he supposed, he was getting, even if they weren't ones he wanted. A part of him wanted to run away, to go home and sob and mourn with the confirmation of what he already knew. But no -- no, he needed to know more.
He needed to understand this "gift."
"What kind of revenge? And what the hell kind of gift?" He frowned, fists clenching and unclenching. He was in front of strangers - very dangerous strangers - and he knew he was taking a large risk.

Zinkenite took a deep breath, casting a moments gaze at Persephone before turning his gaze back to the civilian, he pulled down his mask. Whatever look of power and mystery the fabric gave him, removing it just left him looking, young, slightly exotic of feature in a ‘strangely pretty’ way, and striking pale blue eyes. Combined with his comparatively slight stature rather diminished any impressions he might have been given of… danger unless you found fashion that seemed to combine ‘ye olde British naval officer’ and ‘Ninja’, intimidating. “Well, we…” he started to speak when the cat gave an excited, and awfully human shriek. “OMG… OMG…let me go…” she said, yes, the cat said. “OMG… PENNNNNIgottagiveee…RELEASE ME In the name of SCIENCE!” demanded the little writing bobtail till she was dropped. She danced forward and wrapped her front paws around the young man’s leg with glee. “HIII you’re going to look so amazing in black!” Churped the cat. “…yes.” Said the young man in the ninja-greatcoat. “… We wished to offer you the opportunity to join us, as you can see, the cat is enthralled.”

Alex was not expecting the cat to talk, any more than he was expecting her to bound over to him and declare that he would look good in black. Not that he wasn't aware he did, but he was pretty sure she wasn't referring to his normal wardrobe.
At least with being able to see Zinkenite's face, he felt more comfortable with the whole thing. It wasn't some strange man in a mask, there was a person there, probably not all that much older than him.
"What exactly are you offering, and what does it have to do with revenge for Cait?"Persephone laughed at Abby's eagerness - that tiny little cat had so very much energy in her, she was definitely a good choice to make someone more comfortable. She walked over to Alex, putting her hands on his shoulders and staring up at him. "The people we fight against are the reason she's dead. I - I knew her well," a lie, she couldn't remember being Cait at all, but whatever, "even fought with her. We were both caught in a large battle, and...we were abandoned. I made it out, by pure luck. She didn't.
I chose Chaos that night. You can too, and you can make sure that the people that left her to die suffer."Alex was silent or a long moment, digesting this new information. She was dead because she'd been abandoned - left to die by the people who should have kept her safe.
And these people could help him pay back the ones that had let it happen.
"I-I want it. Whatever it is. Make me one of you."

"As you wish." The smile that spread across the man's face had an edge that was undeniably predatory. He moved too fast to avoid, to a small cheer from the feline.
He gave one look towards Persephone, arching an eyebrow as though something she had said was worth a perhaps critical look, though no commentary followed the comment.
His hand sank into your chest, not touching, moving through it as though he were etherial, but clearly he found something within to clasp…and with that touch, shortly there after came cold, and pain.
"I'm sorry… I am aware that this part is not pleasant in the least. I hope you'll be strong enough to endure this."

Alex took a breath. This wasn't going to be fun, something in him said, because why would it ever be? What was ever easy, anymore?
He was not at all expecting a hand to pass through and literally into his chest, and he very definitely made a loud noise of surprise. "What even," he started, but oh god, it hurt, and arguing didn't exactly feel like a good idea. He'd signed up for this, and damn it, he was going to go through with it.
"I hope so too," he admitted, because it already hurt, how much worse would it get?

He stepped back a moment later, nodding, and the small cat launched herself into a backflip, somehow, producing a…pen of all things which she bounded forward to hand to him. "MITH IF OOO ONTROL UR ANSFURMAUNS!"
She said which was met with rolled eyes from the part of the young man who'm had just caused such pain.
"She said, that will help you control your transformations, You, are a senshi, no surprise to use because of her." He waved his hand at the cat, who was standing on her hind legs now doing little jumps of excitement.
"YES! Welcome to the dark kingdom!" She said after he took the pen from her. "Welcome Kerberos!"

The pain was intense, incredible, beyond what he'd expected. But it was worth it, it had to be worth it, if he could really do what they'd offered and get revenge for his sister.
He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but magical transformations were, probably stupidly, not it. Longer hair, a brand new outfit, and a feeling that suddenly, he was more than he'd been before.
He took the pen from Absinthe and turned it over in her fingers. "A Senshi, huh? Sailor Kerberos?" He glanced over at the green-haired woman who had led him here. Alex was versed enough in mythology to know who Kerberos - Cerberus - was. He wondered if it meant anything.
"This is actually pretty cool. Agonizing pain aside." He looked at the three surrounding him, suddenly aware of the auras of power that Persephone and especially Zinkenite radiated. Damn. "Thank you. All of you."
Persephone could have clapped when her strange hunch was proven right, and in front of her stood a brand-new Corrupted Senshi. She practically bounced over, carefully examining the newly-minted Sailor Kerberos.
"What's he the Senshi of, can you tell?" She asked Absinthe, almost thoughtlessly reaching into his hair to examine one of the flowers there. "I mean, I'll take a wild guess and say some kind of flower, but which?"

"Asphodel" Said Absinthe looking rather pleased with herself. "You know the drill on how to learn what his attacks do…that's really easier for him to try out than for me to try and explain the science behind it…and it IS science!" She declared pointing a paw at the young man so recently drawn into the dark kingdom.
Zinkenite nodded slightly. "You'll show him the ropes I hope?" He said quietly. "Make sure he knows where it is safe to go, where it is not safe to go. I don't want to hear that you've just lost him to that wall down to the rift."
There was a light scolding tone to his voice but nothing too serious. "Be cautious."

Persephone nodded. "I'll keep track of him, I promise. Make sure he's trained and ready to go before I unleash him anywhere. And I am going to avoid any other terrible leash-related puns, because that is such low-hanging fruit." She grinned, and then lightly elbowed the new Corrupt.
"We're gonna be buddies, and I'm gonna make sure that you know exactly what you're doing." Unlike her first few months as a Senshi, when she'd been lost and confused. Kerberos was lucky- Chaos always covered its own. "Thank you, Zinkenite, I know this was a little out of your way - but the results were worth it, eh?"
Kerberos grinned. Alright, so Asphodel wasn't the most badass thing to be a Senshi of - and he wasn't entirely sure what that even meant, anyway - but it still sounded pretty cool. And he at least he knew he was going to have someone to show him the ropes.
"I'll try to keep myself from getting into too much trouble," he said. Not none at all, he'd discovered a habit of seeking it out, but at least he'd be more prepared now.
