Thalion || [ Shandor ] What a headache. Shandor trudged down the coastline with his ears pressed flat against his mane and his alabaster shoulders hunched up over his back. He wasn't in the best of moods. Muhali was hiding away somewhere, keeping her reasons to herself, and pointidly keeping out of his way. Why? He couldn't begin to guess. One night she was all purrs and nuzzles, the next he had stars in his visions and a bloody nose. Females. Well he had pridal matters to distract himself with. The mummer's ball was soon approaching and he needed to see that the festivities were started off smoothly. The mummers had to have their routines decided on, the crafters needed their wares appropreately handed off to the right merchants, and the merchants needed to set their prices fairly. It was a nightmare- but one tiny slip up could cascade into a nightmare. The Bahari were fragile allies. A partnership with them needed oversight and care. He approached the mummer's lawn and gathered himself up with a long, deep breath. Right. To business. Moping in front of a mummer was a horrible idea. The last time he showed any indication of being in a bad mood, he'd had one of them prance about trying to amuse him.
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] Nii'andama stretched and flexed, moving around in a spot that clearly showed repeated use. She'd come long after the muses had departed, and she'd only seen glimpses of the Dreamers and their area, but she still found something of a muse of her own in just... Moving. Age and cubs had clearly benefited the lioness, as she had calmed considerably since coming to the Kizingo'zaa with her friend and friend's daughter. She did wonder now and then, though, about the Cursed One. How was he doing? What was he up to? Duck, one of the Merchants, had returned right before the Dreamers had shown up with a cub that he said he'd gotten off a lion who matched the description of the Cursed One... She crouched down, wiggling her rear in the air as she stuck her tongue out. She'd been working on this dance for what felt like forever, since Wizard and Chicanery had shown up, at least. If only she could just get this one move... She jumped up into the air, twisting and trying to spin. Once, twice... There was a thud as she hit the grass, a frustrated growl escaping her throat. She began to push herself up, when she heard something move near by. The blue-tailed lioness looked up, then stood up. "Oh! Lord Riddle Mouth! What a pleasant surprise!"

Thalion || [ Shandor ] "Lord." He snorted and rolled his eyes. He wasn't a lord. He was a king. A lord would be his brother and most of Fireheart's offspring. Ah well... she was trying to be polite. He couldn't fault her for that. 'Funny Face." He greeted her warmly. "A surprise, yes, pleasant is up for debate." He smirked and glanced over the female's posture. "Working on your routine are we? I Hope I've not interrupted you."
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] She smiled sheepishly at the snort. "Sorry, KING Riddle Mouth." She stretched and loosened herself back up. "After following a god around, it's sometimes still hard to get rank titles correct." Her ears pricked, then slid sideways. "Not having a good day, I take it?" Perhaps his lady was unhappy, making HIM unhappy. Of course, it COULD also have to do with any.. Possible plumpness. She was an airhead, of course, but not entirely stupid, and certainly not blind. She stretched some more, moving through her steps again. "Oh, no, no interruption at all! I've just been trying to get this jump right for a WHILE now. It's supposed to be three or more twists in the air before I land, but I land before I can twist again... And then end up on my side or back." There were times she had to take a break, it hurt so much from rough landings.

Thalion || [ Shandor ] "We are family here. No king, lord, or sir needed. Just Riddle-Mouth will do. Now anyone outside of our borders had better address me proper or they'll be less a tongue." He smirked and waved a paw. "Same goes for gods, mortals, or bolts of lightning that speak our words. Gypsies are gypsies." He snorted. "That obvious?" Sadly, in his exhaustion the clever mask he prided himself in maintaining was slipping away. "I've been fighting a few aches. One in my head, an other in my backside. I suppose I should have an alchemist whip something up." He tilted his head and raised a brow. "Three or four? Impossible. Sprout wings if you wish to do it without a sleight of paw. Learn to drop a paw in mid-turn. Give yourself a little spring. Time it right, and the eyes won't be on your paws, it will seem you flew."
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] Ni'andama paused, giggling. Talking bolts of lightning... Of course, she couldn't put it past a god to take such a form. Xavier had onced turned into a mix of fish and bird just to amuse the cubs once... "Just Riddle-Mouth it is, then!" She sat down, pointing. "Well, you DID say that the day being pleasant was up for debate... Why do you hurt, if I may ask?" Perhaps Brew Mistress had something that would help... Then again, the last time she'd gone to see the younger lioness, she'd come away with her head fuzzy and vision blurry... Whatever she made couldn't be meant to treat things. Her ears went back with a touch of indignation. "Few things are impossible." She got up, going back to her steps. "I'm sure I can get the spin if I do it right. I didn't get the second turn until I did the dance faster, giving me more velocity. So if I can do it fast enough, maybe I can do it." She paused in thought, but not step. "Sleight of paw... Hmmm... That with some more speed... Maybe I can achieve four turns..."

Thalion || [ Shandor ] "There we go." He stepped forward and offered the mummer a nudge of his shoulder. THere was no formality among them. At least those he considered legitimate members of his pack. The dreamers? Not so much. They were mad and unreliable. He shrugged. "I could have meant the weather. Little colder than most would like I would think." He glanced out towards the sea. It was growing darker, more baleful, but it was the raining season. A time of fertility and thunder it seemed. "Oh just a lot on my mind and under my skin you could say. The ball is fast approaching and we've much to do in preperation. We'd be wise not to offend our neighbors twice in a row." He snorted and shook his head. "It may be possib le but there are safer ways to accomplish the same effect. I don't want one of my mummers hurting herself."
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] The dust-brown lioness couldn't help but smile a bit at the encouraging motion, before glancing at the sky. It made her miss a step and stumble. She checked her limb joints to make sure nothing was injured, then plopped her backside down. "The rains are coming and all but here, of course it's going to get cold." She stared back at the sky. "Back where I was born, it wouldn't start getting cold and wet for another couple months... The pride is much further inland, with only two rivers and the point they join for water, plus a few ponds and watering holes." She smiled a bit at the memory, as little connected as she was with her birth pride. She looked back at Riddle-Mouth, her maw forming something that was half smile, half frown - One corner of her mouth was up, the other down, almost forming a squiggle. "They can't possibly be THAT easy to offend... As long as we don't try to take their cubs or anything, we should be good!" She then rose back up, flexing her paws. "Maybe if I try off a rock... I'd have to put a rock in the right place, though... And work on a soft landing first." Maybe a rock where she'd be jumping out over water...

Thalion || [ Shandor ] 'We are fortunate." He stepped closer to the coastline and drew in a long, deep breath. The salty air and scent of brine was enough to lift even the worst spirits. "The rains wash our lands, grow our grass, and see that we have plenty of fat prey-beasts to take down. A little cold is the least of our worries." He glanced over and winced. The tumble didn't look entirely comfortable. "Careful. the best dances are those that look difficult- but are practically cub's play for the dancer." He laughed and waved a paw again. "It's not so hard, think less, little mummer. Let your paws use their minds, they know what they're doing. You just have to let them have their way."
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] She offered a smile, flexing her wrists. "All's good with my joints this time!" She then followed the silver-gray lion to stare at the water, watching the waves dance and crash. Thanks to Xavier, she had a particular enjoyment of the water... And a healthy respect for the damage it could do to one who was not strong enough to resist its pull. She looked at her paws, then, smiling a bit. Let them have their way... If she did THAT, who knew where she'd end up! She let out a hm. "I'll have to do that tomorrow. I've been practicing all morning, so I think it's about time I stop for the rest of the day." She flicked an ear, then glanced toward the sea. "Actually, I may rol a rock onto the beach later and use the sand to practice on! If I can do it on the sand, surely I can do it on the hard ground!" Of course, she COULD always get Aurora to help... The wing-marked lioness would probably intimidate her into doing it!

Thalion || [ Shandor ] "I have a suggestion." He offered. "Play in the sea. Let the waves move your body, Place your paws and see what movements you make. A dance directed by the tide if you will. The sea has its own rythem that it's willing to share to anyone that accepts her as a dancing partner. See if that helps your situation." He stepped away and offered a short nod of his head. "Mind her though. She's not a lady that should ever be disrespected."
Kittens || [ Nii'andama ] Funny Face offered Riddle-Mouth a smile, giving a slight bow. "I will. A swim sounds wonderful right now, anyway." As she started toward the water, she giggled. "And I already have a healthy respect for water and how moody and dangerous it can be, so no worries there!" She waved a paw. "It was a pleasure talking, Riddle-Mouth! I hope your day gets much better from here! Now..." She started to trot. "The sea calls!"
