Rayolun finished tying a bandage across the gash along his chest and stood up. His pet, Rownin came trotting up to him.
"Good boy." He murmured, the small roati had stayed behind unwillingly and had managed to not get in the way or run off.
Reaching down he petted it before heading to Lasarra's side.
"Where will you go now?" He asked. He had no need to return tot he sea just yet, besides he wanted to be with her some more! The war was definitely ill timed...
"I'll travel with you if you'll have me along."

Lasarra had bandaged herself up, and she was happy that she wouldn't have to go fight any time soon. Her whip looked like it needed to be replaced, but that was fine. She was a live, her sister was alive, and Rayolun was alive. All was well.
When Rayolun was followed by a roati her eyes went wide. What an interesting animal. She had heard of one, but this was the first time she had seen one so close. It was also the first time that Izsha saw one, but she just kind of put her nose on the animal. Lasarra laughed.
"I'm not sure. I have animals back at home. They have someone watching them, but I should go back..." she said thinking. Than he offered to come with her. "I'd love to have you!" she said excitedly. She hadn't had a lot of time with him, so this was a nice change.

a pet dino "Love to have him" eh? emotion_awesome He smiled when she accepted happily. So he wasn't intruding on her! "I'm looking forward to seeing what other animals you've gotten since we last met. Ah, this is Rownin. I found him washed up on the beach a few months back." Rayolun nudged his Roati gently with his foot. Rownin looked up at her and gave a hoarse gruff bark before going back to investigating this odd new creature sniffing him. Ray didn't feel too guilty about leaving the army. The Oban's looked settled in and the war was probably going to turn into raids and counter raids. Which he could join in at a later date. He offered her a hand up . "Well, I'm all packed." He joked, his 'pack consisted of himself, his weapon and a belt pouch. "Anything you need to grab before we leave?"

"I have a few, I sold many of the one's that I've had since we last saw each other, but at the same time there a few that have just stuck around." she said with a laugh. She laughed at the roati's totally interest of her and interest of Izsha. As for Izsha she sniffed the roati and licked it, just as she would any other animal. Once she realized that it wasn't something important she ignored it and went back to Izsha's side.
She took his hand and stood. "I have everything I need, I already told my sister that I'm heading home so we just need to get on the road." she squeezed his hand. The two of them didn't need to be at the front line anymore, not right than and there anyways. They could always come back if they were needed anyways.

a pet dino Time skip's are our friends! XD I'm gonna go till they are.. half way to her house and camping for the night.. then we can have another time skip after some cute times to their house? Rayolun smiled as she squeezed his hand. He returned the squeeze and held on; no need to let go if she didn't want to! He was amazed at how delicate her hand was compared to his... hopefully she doesn't mind the calluses, he thought with amusement. His hands had developed them not only from his spear, but also from all the rope handling and rowing he'd been doing lately when at sea. "It's good that you've found a good job and path for yourself." He whistled for Rownin to follow as he headed out of the tent. "And since we're all set, might as well leave now." ------ Several days of traveling later found him and her setting up camp for the night in the jungles. Comparatively safe as the Oban's hadn't made it this far and the animals wereones they were used to dealing with. He dropped a small mammals body next to the fire pit and smiled at Lasarra. "That's dinner for tonight. You want to cook this time?" He reached out to tuck a stray hair out of Lasarra's face with a gentle smile on his face. Even though there was a war happening (oh alright, more like raiding really) Rayolun couldn't help but feel very happy and peaceful. Traveling and spending days with Lasarra was just perfect! I wonder after we stop by her house and tend to her animals if she wouldn't mind coming to see the sea with me....

She liked the feel of his hand around her own. It was tough, and although she used her hands to work it was clear that they used it in a different way. Some might find it discomforting Lasarra found it safe and nice. She could hold his hand forever. "I'm glad that we both have. There is comfort in knowing where we want out lives to go." she said happily. She meant more than just her future as a tamer, but that was as much as she would say about that subject. She motioned for Izsha to follow her and than the four of them set out.

They would be at her house soon, Lasarra was sure it would be a day or two before they made it. She wasn't in any hurry though. Traveling with Rayolun was nice. So much more peaceful than their last few days were. She heard him come up, looking at the small mammal he dropped in front of her. "Not a problem." she said happily as she clasped the hand that touched her face.
"I'm so happy you were willing to come with me." she said with a smile. She couldn't imagine coming back without him. It was so much fun, they worked so well as a team.

Rayolun smiled as she clasped his hand and answered. "Mmm, I was headed inland before the war to come see you. I enjoyed the sea but I missed you." He pulled her hand to him and kissed the back of it before winking at her and sitting down to skin the animals. "One of these days I'd love to take you to the coast and out fishing or maybe some diving." Though not during a storm he thought. That's a bit much for the first time out on the ocean. Though maybe I can show her some of the diving spots and the creatures that live under the sea... though knowing her, she'd want to try and tame one! Of course, seeing her in scanty wet clinging clothes would be an extra bonus....

She smiled and blushed as he kissed her hand. Oh had he? "I missed you as well, but it seems we were busy when we were apart. Moving up in our ranks." she said with a smile. She was proud of herself, and of him. Not everyone moved up at their ages. Some people took forever, and she knew that she would try to get better and better. She was sure that he would do the same.
When he spoke of the coast she smiled. She had never been there before. She hadn't really been to islands of her mother's people, it was risky. When she was young she was there, but she didn't remember much of it. "I would like that. I can only imagine what kind of creatures are there. And I heard the water is good for your skin?" she asked curiously.

Rayolun, as he skinned dinner, smiled, "Well... it was mostly pleasure rather than work for me, moving up that is. I fished a lot, got caught in some storms at sea, found some foolish boy on a sinking ship. Not too much work at all." He grinned cheekily, " I bet you had more fun that work too! Catching and training animals." He finished skinning and handed the meat to Lasarra. "I don't think the sea's good for your skin. Far too salty! Dries it out real fast. Though the animals in it are fascinating! So many different colors, shapes, sizes!" His eyes glowed at the memories of diving in the sea and seeing the reefs teeming with life and color. "The reef's are like a jungle down there! Though all the plant and animals are completely different than what lives on the surface!" He sprawled on the ground next to the fire and started to describe the reefs and animals he'd seen, his hands moving about to help demonstrate as he talked animatedly. If there was one thing that could get the normally quiet Rayolun to talk; it was the sea.

"Sounds like you had quite the adventure." she said with a laugh as he told his tale. Fishing, storms, saving a boy. Sounded like a lot of work to her, but at the same time it was clear that he thought of it as something more than work, something better than work. She felt the same way about taming her animals, and it was nice to see that she wasn't the only one with that kind of passion. "I ended up seeing this huge beast that wasn't from around here and returning it to it's owners. I would have loved to have it, but I wasn't going to steal it. Plus it was so happy."
She nodded. Ah, whoever told her must have been misinformed. "Really?" she said as she watched in awe as he spoke. She could only guess what kind of animals, the sighs that he must have seen. The ones that she wanted to see. Plus swimming in the ocean would be so much fun. "Oh I'd love to go, it would be so nice to see different kind of animals. Though I don't think I'd be able to tame any of those water creatures, but it would be wonderful to see them."

Rayolun grinned at her and rolled up to a sitting position. "Then come with me! Well, after we visit your house and tend to the animals for a while. I'll take you to the beaches and diving and all that!" He asked impulsively. "And maybe you can try to tame something out there. A water mount or something. Never know, could work." And he could leave it with his friend Frezian when they went inland. Frez would probably love that. Scooting over to sit by Lasarra he slid an arm about her waist for a quick hug. "There's all sorts of things I saw out at sea I'd love to show you."

She thought about it. She would be leaving her sister, but her sister had someone new to worry about. She had her own love life now. Would she really miss Lasarra? And as long as she stopped in and took care of things surely she could find someone to care for the beasts once again. She had made a lot of money there with everyone about. She had sold many animals for war, so she could afford to hire someone again.
She looked back at him and nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "Okay! Let's do it!." she said as she kissed him, snuggling into his side as he hugged her. She couldn't believe it! She was going to go out to sea! "Oh I'm so excited, we just have to stop by for a day or two while I find someone else to take care of them than we can be off."

Rayolun enjoyed the feeling of her nestled against his side and tightened his arm about her. "I think you'll love it.And we can take as long as you need to get your home and shop set up before we leave." And, since she seemed in a snuggly mood, he bent down to kiss her on the lips. He'd been good and kept his hands (mostly) to himself for the trip, despite wanting to do more. But if she was cuddling and giving him adorable butterfly kisses, then.... well maybe she wouldn't mind a bit more? "Have I ever told you how beautiful you were Lasarra? he asked in a husky voice.

"No no, we must not prolong our adventure." she teased as she touched his nose with the tip of her finger and a laugh. "No, it will only take a little time. I'm ready to go and see the sea. I've always heard of it but I never dreamed of actually seeing it." she said excitedly. Oh she could only imagine how wonderful that it would be. "Maybe we should bring a few animals with us... No Just Izsha." she said after a second though. Maybe Honey, but no the animal was too skittish. Just Izsha.
Oh kisses? She liked these kisses.They had only had a few stolen ones during the trip, but they were safe here. Maybe... Well maybe they could do with some more. "Yes, but I always love to hear you say my name in that voice of yours." she purred back, running her fingers down his face.

"Izsha and Rownin." he said with a smile. "I think that'll be enough." He shifted so that he could pull her into his lap and kissed her again, longer this time. He twined his hands through her hair, enjoying the thick silky touch of it. "I love saying your name almost as much as I love being with you and looking at you." He said with a grin, his eyes glowing as he looked over her, obviously appreciating what he held and say. His uncle, when Rayolun had first begun to mature and started noticing pople (girls especially) had pulled him aside and given him a talking to. And one of the things that Rayolun had held close to his heart from then was that you did not sleep around lightly. You did not play with other's hearts or feelings. But he didn't feel like this was just 'playing around.' This felt like more. He wanted to be with her, he was happy just wandering about by her side. He'd never felt like this for others... not that he'd approached many people.. so maybe she was the one? He had vague memories of his actual parents and they happy times then, wanted that too.
"Lassara.. you uh... I love you. And.. well... I want to be by your side. Not just for now.. but for.. the future." He touched his forehead to hers and looked into those big black eyes. "Do you feel the same way?" He wanted to make sure, wanted her to know that he saw her as special, very very special.
