Keria was curious to see how Houdini would do on his own so she left the battle up to him.
Houdini nodded to the other pokemon, a pretty deerling. Noting the start of the battle from his trainers stance he quickly attacked the other.

Jessamyn stroked Nilima's head one last time and promised her a good, thorough bath when this was all over.
Nilima was a little nervous, but then she used Solar Beam and thought this was easier than it looked...maybe.

Nilima squeaked and jerked back from the attack that hit harder than she'd expected. In retaliation, she threw a ball of energy at the Blitzle.

The next ball of energy did not hit as hard as the last one and houdini was quick to attack. Not having to recover from a vicious blow.

Nilima wobbled a bit on her legs. She wasn't used to battling and much preferred her shows. But this was almost over, whichever of them won. She shot her energy ball again.
