Niabi looked at her opponent, taking a deep breath in. She clenched and released her fingers methodically, trying to get the bow to feel better in her hands. She had met this woman once before she remembered. Way back during the tournament that felt like a lifetime ago. "Thank you for helping me. You seem to have a habit of coming to my rescue when I need it." She smiled to her Sister, ready to start the fight.
She launched an arrow, ready to start her training, but her focus was off. It hit the tree behind her Sister and she frowned. "I guess I need the training after all."

She had heard some strange rumors going on involving this girl involving the bug men and a missing woman who had been with her. Though she didn't know Ker'ba she knew of her prowess with a bow. Giving the young girl a half smile as she had tensed herself to dodge the arrow she had notched in her bow, though not having to move as her aim was off. "I will always help my sisters. If you wish to train with me I will do what I can, but I won't take it easy on you. " She warned a grim smile on her face as she tensed her calves and then rushed forward. Calling up on the power of Aisha she felt strength flow into her, she brought her spear around to strike at the girl. Though Niabi hadn't explained to her fully the reason for this training session, she could tell immediately that this girl was timid. Fighting wasn't her style, but she couldn't turn her away. In fact the need to help her better herself was almost overwhelming.

Niabi saw the spear coming toward her and rolled out of the way, avoiding all of the attack. The effort it took to come up with her bow was strange to her, her muscles didn't quite know how to react yet, but she managed and launched another arrow at her Sister.

Needs 13 to hit NiabiJerarda Dodge: 15 + 6 + 2= 23 Jerarda recieves No dmgJerarda retaliates 15 + 11/5 = 5.2 dmg DP cooldown: 1/3 It was a surprise to see how fast Niabi was on her feet, the fact she had been able to dodge her attack meant she had the skill to be a warrior. Though perhaps she was just agile, it took more than speed to make you good on the battlefield. Dodging the next arrow she moved quickly back to Niabi her spear brought about in a wide arc to hit the younger woman.

Niabi felt the spear strike her and for a moment she was distracted and shocked by the pain of it. The feel of the pain brought on a moment of flashbacks that she didn't want to see and she launched an arrow almost out of panic, trying to clear the fear in her chest. Her eyes narrowed at the force the arrow left her bow.

She intended after this fight to talk to her, find out what happened and perhaps see about looking for their missing sister Ker'ba. Who knows maybe she was still alive. She certainly hoped so. Dodging the attack easily enough she brought her spear around to retaliate, this felt like a one sided battle but perhaps she was just being too hard on the girl.

After the initial shock of it, Niabi clenched her jaw and pushed through. She would get stronger, she would fight her best, and she would learn all she could learn from this Sister who had saved her meek self all that time ago.
She felt the spear hit her again, felt the bruise that would bloom in its place and strung an arrow. She bounced back, still unsteady on her feet and launched the arrow at Jerarda.

It was hard for a weapon meant for range to be used in close combat. Still Jerarda came in close her spear brought around to retaliate against the girl. This was no time to act smug she thought, though she couldn't help herself...

Niabi felt the sharp pain of the spear hitting its mark and winced, shying her body as far away from the blow as she could. She took three quick sharp breaths, and when she thought that she had regained her breath she pulled the string back tight, launching another arrow at Jerarda.
She could see that her Sister was already thinking that she had won this battle, and while she knew it was probably true, she would try her best to make it hard for her. Niabi needed the training and if she was in trouble again there would be no quitting or giving up.

Though she didn't want to hurt the girl she also didn't want to hold back either. She would sure her the strength of their people and how even Niabi could be this strong. Leaping forward she made a thrust with her spear.

Niabi couldn't help but to panic at the ferocity that Jerarda was attacking her with. She leaped to the side, merely hoping to get out of the way. She could feel the stitch in her side working its way further into her belly, and with a last ditch effort, she managed to get out of the way and to swing her bow at Jerarda, still too close to actually shoot an arrow effectively.

The player gains 4HP in HP restored. Can only be used once every 5 turns. Dancing Petals gives +2 to speed for the next two turns. Needs 13 to hit NiabiJerarda's new HP: 31 - 4.8 + 4 = 30.2/38 HP Jerarda attacks: 13 + 11 = 24 HitJerarda damage: 17 + 11 / 2 = 14 x 1.5 = 21 dmg to NiabiDP cooldown: 1/3 AR cooldown: 0/5 Perhaps she was being a bit too aggressive, but she wasn't going to go easy on anyone even if they were a 'sister'. She could tell that Niabi was being overwhelmed by her attacks but she didn't run and she could admire her for that. The girl was timid that much she could tell by her actions, and she would be interested in having a conversation with her once their battle was over.
