Aminah smiled to her best friend. "It's been too long, Kei." She gripped her staff, ready to get the show on the road. They had agreed to practice today, what with the war and everything. Everyone felt like they had to be doing something, and fighting was on everyone's mind, so here they were. And with Sathe grown up enough to be on her own, Aminah almost felt a little lonely now. "Too bad I'm going to have to show you up." She laughed, already launching a blast of water at Keilana.

Keilana needs 18 to hit Animah Keilana's Dodge Roll: 16 + 4 = 20 Keilana takes No dmg this round. Keilana will retaliate: 16 + 11 / 5 = 5.4 dmg to Animah Since the war Keilana had seemed more temperamental than normal. Moer paranoid about her boys going out on their own, even if they were older now...she couldn't help but want to tie them up and keep them at home forever. Still...she couldn't do that, and so agreed to meet with her best friend Animah. A bit of sparring would allow her to get off some steam badly. Smirking as she held the hammer in both her hands standing opposite Animah. "Show me up huh?" Keilana scoffed sounding rather happy to be fighting, "we'll see about that." She grinned, the adrenaline rush coming at her when a sudden whip of water was coming at her. She forgot how quickly magic could be, though she was able to dodge the attack, she charged her friend hammer raised to get a strike back against her. "Now its your turn!"

The hammer hit before Aminah could finish her water spell completely and she felt the sting in her arm. "You're not going easy on me are you?" Aminah winked to her friend. She pulled the water she had used in her last attack to form ice shards.
"Don't hold back now." She threw the shards like darts, hoping to hit their mark this time around.

Keilana will retaliate: 14 + 11 / 5 = 5 dmg to Animah She couldn't help but give a bit of a snort of laughter with Animah's remark. Okay so she hadn't really meant to hit that hard, but she couldn't help it after all fighting (despite everything) was the best way for her to let out her anger. She was an angry woman and with ice now flying at her she would need to react. Perhaps she had seen the ice forming in the air a split second before they launched but she was able to deflect the spell with the use of her hammer before moving in to take another swing at her friend. She knew Animah despite her girly nature was tough, she had seen her fight in the war and it had brought about a new respect for the woman but she certainly wasn't going to go easy on her. "I wouldn't dream of it." She scoffed as she felt the muscles tighten and the hammer was brought about again in a retaliation strike.

Aminah powers up!
Aminah lifted her arms to take the brunt of the force from Keilana's attack. It stung and she swore she could feel her bones vibrating to their core after the strike, but Aminah had something better planned for her friend. Like she had said, she hoped her friend wasn't holding back, because neither was she.
She knew exactly what her friend could do with that hammer and Aminah was ready to step up and show her friend what she was made of. She could help but smirk as she geared up for what was next.

When rolling to hit if your roll is 17/18/19/ or 20 your opponent gets a -5 to dodge. If your opponent fails to dodge they are 'stunned' and not able to counter or retaliate that turn. This attack can only be used once every 3 turns. Keilana needs 18 to hit Animah Keilana's attack roll: 14 + 11 = 25 Keilana's attack HitsKeilana's damage this turn: 15 + 11 /2 + 3 = 16 dmg to Animah Bone Splitter Cool Down: 0/3 Keilana was a bit surprised to ee Animah take the blow, sure it wasn't the heaviest hit she could of mustered but to...oh crap. This was why she hated magic users, not that she didn't like Animah but fighting magic users was always...a challange. She never knew what they were up to. and seeing that she was...powering up some sort of spell. Well then, if she was going to play that game it was time she stopped fooling around as well. Hoping to not break anything, but not wanting to hold back she readied her aim and brought her hammer around for a devastating blow.

Aminah Retaliates!

Keilana receives 7.6 dmg.
Aminah saw the look on Keilana's face change and Aminah had to swallow hard. Sure she had taken that first hit, but she was not willing to take another so soon. She tumbled to the side, trying to get out of the way of what looked to be a rather powerful attack and managed to avoid the whole thing.
She took a deep breath in, blowing it out onto her staff and forcing her magic to turn it into a hammer-like burst of air aimed right for her friend.

No damage dealt to Animah. Bone Splitter Cool Down: 1/3 Perhaps it was her forward momentum that caused her to be unable to avoid Animah's air attack. It was hard to say, but Keilana managed to only take about half the damage this round by taking a rather large step to the right. She felt the air whip past her, lashing at her left side. She had taken too big of a step however to be able to reach her friend in a counter attack, the swing of her hammer only whistling through the air instead of making contact. Her breathing was becoming laboured, the battle was intense.

Aminah stood from where she had fallen and seemed to hop and skip backwards, not really sure of her footing. She had managed to get out of her friend's way and interrupt her attacks long enough to get this far. She took in a deep breath and whipped her staff through the air, releasing the built up magic that she had been waiting to build over the battle.
The charge was intense, with sparks of lightning flying everywhere... but sadly seeming to hit nothing. Aminah brought her staff down in a fluid swipe and the last of her energies managed to focus long enough to pull themselves toward Keilana.

Keilana needs 18 to hit Animah Keilana's dodge roll: 3 + 4 = 7 Keilana recieves: Full DamageKeilana's new HP: 19.7/34 Keilana counter roll: 6 + 11 = 16 MISSKeilana Misses this turn. No damage dealt to Animah. Bone Splitter Cool Down: 2/3 Keilana had been so caught up in the battle she had completely forgotten the fact that Animah had caused some sort of weird spell earlier. So when she had missed hitting Keilana she had felt smug and was about to launch her own attack only to be caught up in an explosion of magic. Cursing she couldn't avoid any of the blast and she felt parts of her clothing rip as well skin. A large chunk of her energy felt like it had been spent as she tried to regain her footing. Trying to raise her hammer she found that she was unable to. Strength failing her for a moment.
