Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.

Lenore walked into the stadium, Mephistopheles at her side. It had been a while since he had battled, certainly not since before the events in Inhinx. He had to get back into practice.
The dusknoir floated down to the street below to await his opponent.

Kwatoko trotted into the stadium again, refreshed and ready for his next match. It seemed this one would be the same trainer as before, but with a much larger pokemon. He looked up at the Dusknoir and tried not to be intimidated.

That pokemon looked powerful, it might be wise to blunt its force a little. Kwatoko gathered energy for a moment before releasing it in a bright burst of flame.

The flames seared at Mephistopheles, but the dusknoir paid them little heed. Bowing, he spoke. "Greetings. My name is Mephistopheles, but you may call me Mephisto if you so choose. I shall be your opponent in this battle. Good luck."
As the embers died on his skin, the ghost pokemon raised both his arms and tremors rocked the street. Lenore held onto the guard railing as the arena trembled.

Well, hid opponent was offering his name, it was only polite for Kwatoko to do the same. "Nice to meet you, I'm Kwatoko. Let's have a good match." Then the ground shuddered strongly beneath his feet.
The attack rattled him, and he'd rather not take many more like it. He began to strut around the field, sending sidelong glances at Mephisto.

Kwatoko saw his opponent's eye pulse briefly, but it seemed the attack was cut short. Good. Turning towards offense, he leaped forward with claws wrathed in darkness.

Kwatoko was able to anticipate the attack this time and jumped into the air in time to avoid it. He turned that into his next move by leaping at the Dusknoir, claws outstretched again.
