Clothing and Style: She wears much of her own dresses to advertise her mother's store. A lot of them are large, intricate ball gowns, but some of them are shorter more casual dresses, some of which border on being cosplay. What she wears that isn't made by her is usually made by her mother. Her outfits change almost daily.
Personality
Overall Personality: Mika is very friendly and caring. She is also quite ladylike and a little immature. She also has a strong sense of compassion. She is a fujoshi, but she calls herself a "casual yaoi fan". She does not believe in forcing her views on others. However, she doesn't always think before speaking. Mika herself has no interest in being in a relationship.
Mika enjoys living extravagantly, and is somewhat of a spendthrift because of it. She is also somewhat frivolous and occasionally comes off as pompous. However, she never means to be that way and will never use her wealth as justification for her wrongdoings.

Social Life
Family History: The Hinayuuki family originated in Hiroshima. They used to be silk makers until their silk farms in Hiroshima were destroyed in World War II. They fled the city for Fukushima a week before the bombs were dropped for fear that the war would wipe them out. After that, they used what they had in stock to start their clothes business, selling silk dresses to raise money towards relief from the bombings. After a successful donation to various organizations working on relief, Mika's grandmother, Kaede, commercialized their business and determined that it would be passed and maintained matrilineally. Mika's mother, Mitsuko, began the tradition of working under the most senior woman in the family, working with Mika's grandmother for most of her life until February of 2014, when Kaede stepped down as CEO and passed the role onto her daughter. While she was working under Mika's grandmother, Mitsuko married a man in the rare earth minerals business named Ryuu and bore Mika while they were married. However, their business was almost thrown in jeopardy because Ryuu scorned the family business for supporting atom bomb victims. She quickly divorced him and moved away with Mika in tow and relocated her business to a locality close to Ouran, where she and her daughter continue to make dresses together in family tradition. Currently, Mika's grandmother works as a financial advisor to the business, occasionally releasing a dress of her own every so often. Due to the nuclear disaster, she has relocated to Nagano and occasionally visits.
Personal History: Mika was born in Fukushima during a tumultuous time in her family's history. Because her father was too disgusted by her mother's business's origins in Hiroshima relief, he was never home on the false pretenses that he had "work" to do at the office, so she was raised exclusively by her mother and taught to value the family business highly. She witnessed several fights at home over her father's accusations of her mother for brainwashing Mika against him. To prevent herself from focusing on home, she focused intensely on school. At the end of middle school, Mika's mother successfully divorced her husband and made off with much of his money. They moved far away from Fukushima, ending up in a locale near Ouran, where Mika began her high school career in the spring semester.
Hobbies: Making dresses, drawing, reading yaoi.

Primary School, Middle School, and Extra-School Activities: She spent primary and middle school in Fukushima, so she enrolled as a first-year at Ouran. She is a part of the art club, and is still looking for fashion clubs in Ouran.
