User Image He was quite used to following the river and its offshoots to see where they led, or where they had originated, and each time he took that little trek, Albedo had something new to add to his memory and pick apart any important details. Today, he had decided to follow an offshoot of the main river to see where it led. Following the smaller trail of water away from rock and sand, he found himself growing ever closer to a cluster of green.

The soil beneath his hooves gradually became softer, more mushy from water content, and the greenery seemed to constantly be growing thicker. It was certainly a new place he'd come to, this time. Forests he was familiar with, clusters of random trees as well, but the thick moist air was a far cry from anything he had witnessed before. And he could not help but wonder just why it was this way, if the river he was following perhaps flowed more than it appeared to. A source of the water underground? he'd certainly heard of such a thing, but now he was possibly seeing some proof of it? Regardless what the answer was, he found himself to genuinely enjoy the moist air, even with the smell of mud and plants decaying that perfumed it all around him. It was pleasantly cool beneath the tree cover, if nothing else.
