Blades also appear on the crossbow limbs. (I think that's what they're called...) This allows her meister to slash at nearby enemies when they cannot fire from a distance.
Name: Elvira Ariadne
Age: 14
Ethnicity (ex: British, Japanese, etc.): American.
Sexuality: Straight.
Relationship Status: Single.
Family (If none leave blank): Family did not move with her when she came to DWMA.
Which school do you go to?: DWMA.
School Year: 1st year.
Weapon: Dagger/Bow.
Partner: None, as of yet.
Reason for being in the DWMA: To learn to control her abilities. She also dreams of adventure.
Likes:
Horror movies.
Animals.
Writing.
Music.
Adventure.
Exploring.
Learning.
Sharp objects. (especially shiny ones.)
Dislikes:
Pain.
Being underestimated.
People who treat her like a child.
Dishonesty.
Betrayal/cheating/breaking trust.
Bio (Up to five sentences minimum): Elvira was an only child, and lived a very plain life in the country before discovering she was a weapon. She was delighted by the idea of living an exciting, meaningful life, and began practicing immediately. After a while, she managed to get the hang of transforming into a crossbow, but as a result she ended up causing a few accidents that brought harm to those around her. (A few cuts here, a bruise there, and a few misfired bolts, one of which embedded itself into a neighbor's leg.) Realizing that she needed proper training to avoid more accidents, her parents decided to send her to DWMA. Of course, the brochures and magazines she left all over the house helped. Subtle, she is not.
Abilities: (Up to 8 )
Form Manipulation: Can alter her weapon form in minor ways, such as detracting or extending the attached blades as well as transforming her body parts into weapons, with some effort. (Practicing this ability was the cause behind many of her worst accidents, including the infamous bolt-to-the-leg incident.)
Eternal Quiver: Because her bolts are made of compressed soul wavelength, much like Liz and Patty's bullets, she is able to reform them as soon as they are fired. This speeds up the reloading process significantly.
Piercing Silver Bolt: She can produce a stronger, sharper bolt than normal that glows silver and pierces through armor as well as some magical barriers. Its power increases the more she resonates with her partner. Without a meister, this ability is close to useless. However, if the meister has any control over an element, the bolt gains that element's power and glows the color that bests corresponds with that element. Metal is essentially her default element, thus the silver glow.
Multi-Shot: As the name suggests, she can form multiple bolts at once. Earlier on, particularly if the meister is not aiming well or paying attention, there is a high chance that they will not only miss, but end up quite a ways from where they were intended to be. (They tend to scatter if you're not careful.) Luckily, the bolt in the center of the bunch will always fire normally, so if you were aiming straight, that bolt will go straight.
Unnatural Silence: If she concentrates, she can muffle or even nullify the sounds she makes as a weapon. This includes the whistle of a bolt or blade as it passes through the air, allowing her to attack more stealthily.
Assassin's Strike: Only applies to blade parts. They will rapidly, and silently, extend. This is primarily used when stabbing someone in the back. And as if that weren't enough, if the extended blade doesn't kill you, the backwards-facing barbs that form along its edge will... Especially when the blade is removed. This is meant to be a killing blow, and should not be used if you do not intend to inflict a fatal wound.
-May obtain more if she becomes a death scythe.
Personality: Elvira is shy and socially awkward, but stubborn and very loyal to the few people she lets close to her. She seems so innocent and nonthreatening that most people don't consider her the type to fight or enjoy conflict. However, underneath her sweet awkwardness she is an adrenaline junkie with a penchant for monster movies and gore, as well as a need to prove herself to the world. She can be downright cruel when she wants to be, and she has developed a pessimistic view on life, even though she tries to remain calm and practical in the face of danger. She can be very indecisive at times, doesn't handle leadership well, and would prefer to find a partner who possesses the self-confidence that she lacks. She would not mind being pushed around a little by such a person, as long as they promised to make her a powerful and respectable death scythe in the end.
Extra: Hates being called "Ellie." Will accept "El," "L," or "Red." Tends to prefer villains to heroes, and doesn't mind people who are jerks as long as they aren't jerks to her.
