Beneath the gothic city of Southmarch lies the rather dank sewers, walls lined with stone, floors with barely passable stone tiles too. Streams of pungent water flows on either side and sometimes over flow onto the whole floor. The sewers are largely long corridors with hanging weeds, with some barred alcoves that show glimpses of light from the world above. There are some small rooms, usually placed between joins of several different sewers. Most of the time, these gather the dead rodents or other animals that find their way down here. It is unfortunate to say that during great plagues, there was no where else to put bodies, and instead they were placed into the sewers. Numerous clean-ups have been operated, but there is always more bodies in a nook or cranny.
