Bio: Takeshi's life was pretty normal growing up, for a warlock anyways. He had two loving parents that were middle class, everything was perfect...at first. His parents usually had time for him but occasionally they'd disappear for some reason. Little did he know that his parents were in a cult, but that's a little later. Despite Takeshi's potential to become a warlock, he desperately wanted to become a meister and have a best friend weapon partner, much to his mother's dismay. Takeshi always had this dream of becoming some sort of super hero and always carried around this hello scarf, to this day he still keeps it close, it is widely believed that his desire to go to the academy is tied to this dream. Anyways he had every intention of enrolling in the academy, regardless of his mother's reasons against it. When he reached the age of twelve his mother thought he was ready to begin learning magic. Since he was considered a mutt of half-bred, because his father was human, he had difficulties learning any spells. Witchcraft, demon tool creation, alchemy, and anything else you could think of magic related was a loss to him. Eventually he found his way but it was still complicated. Once he began training in the ways of magic there wasn't really anything else going on, he still wanted to attend the academy for weapons and meisters alike. At the age of fifth teen he finally learned the truth about his parents. Rather than join the academy they wanted to pass on the family tradition of joining a cult. This cult is one that worships the great Asura and still believes that he will return, however, they believe this through reincarnation. Yes it is widely believed, and true, that Asura was sealed away, they believe that someone will return in his place and engulf the world in madness. To be specific the legend of the cult is that one of considerable madness will be handed down a secret, and then they will lay waste to the world. Now the error in Takeshi's parents part was that he wanted to be a hero, if they had payed more attention they'd realize that he'd never possibly go along with that, willingly anyways. It really didn't matter to Takeshi's witch mother, she was an aged women with plenty of experience so forcing her son to accept the tradition and aid the cult would be easy. The kid fought back but he was injured badly, in a last ditch effort he used his magic to escape the clutches of his insane mother. And so he came across the academy, they gave him a home and provide everything for him that he needed but the depressed and fearful warlock couldn't rest. His mother was out there and most likely searching for him, he quietly blends in at death city and doesn't try to draw too much attention.
Abilities:
+ Angel Soul/Divine Wavelength - The divine wavelength is a distant relative of the rare anti-demon wavelength. It is said to even surpass the bravery wavelength that is held in such high regard, only in rumor though as not many have seen the true capabilities of this strange and new phenomena. Takeshi doesn't really have too much information of this strange occurrence since it hasn't been seen too much on the battlefield. When Takeshi is around madness it repels it, like the anti-demon wavelength, but if he gets too close it's possible to completely purge the essence. What Takeshi doesn't know is that the wavelength also has the ability to repel and even eradicate darkness. Another thing that has remained unseen is the ability to heal those under the influence of madness, the effect is instantaneous as all madness, if allowed, will be erased from the person. People with the divine wavelength are completely immune to falling under the effects of madness, they also develop a resistance against madness based attacks which is extremely good considering users weaken madness based attacks whenever they are near them.
+ Support Magic - Soon after events that had taken place after the journey to the future, Takeshi tried finding a better means of employing what was known as "support magic". And so, he uncovered new spells from the archives of libraries within the Death Magic Allegiance. What he had found was a major improvement compared to his last spells increasing one's physical capabilities. His spells now last five posts long with a remaining two post cool down. Takeshi, like before, can fortify someone's strength, speed, and defense. After intensive readings of the archives that taught him this magic, he learned that he could also fortify someone's physical and spiritual defense. If he wanted to he could also do the same and focus on just physical enhancement, or enhancements for spiritual powers. He also learned how to dispel magic. Being even more specific in a branch of fortifications, he can increase elemental defense, boosting the desired target's resistance to certain elements. If he were to buff someone's physical defense then that would be one thing, but with elements it's an entirely new spell altogether. His skills have also allowed him to place spells on people consecutively, so if he were to enhance his own strength using one spell, then he could increase someone else's in the same turn. The supportive spells are casted by chanting out an incantation and forming magical seals which will allow the user to temporarily enhance the targets' desired trait by surrounding them with Magical Auras. Takeshi can increase a person's strength, speed, and defense. When it comes to defense it can be broken down into two categories, physical defense boosts, and spiritual defense boost. When improving upon one's defensive capabilities, that person will have stronger defense against physical attacks. When improving one's spiritual defense, that person will have a stronger resistance against most energy based attack. The same can be said for boosts in spiritual and physical boosts. This ranges from magic to madness and anything in between. It is basically a stronger resistance against anything deemed as "special attacks" in the soul eater verse. If Takeshi wanted to he could also improve upon resistances even further by double casting on desired targets and doubling their elemental resistances. Finally, Takeshi can also dispel negative side effects from allies using a spell that isn't too far off from the healing kind.
- Bravery - Takeshi's power enchantment spell, increases physical capabilities to a great extent.
- Protect - Takeshi's defense enchantment, increases defense on designated targets to a great extent.
- Haste - Takeshi's speed enchantment, increases speed on designated targets to a great extent.
- Faith - Takeshi's magical power enchantment, increases energy based skills on designated targets to a great extent.
- Shell - Takeshi's magical defense enchantment, increases magical defense on designated targets to a great extent.
- Barspell - Takeshi's elemental defense enchantment, increases elemental resistance on designated targets to a great extent. It takes a different name depending on which elemental resistance is being increased.
+ Saboteur Magic - In an effort to improve on his magic, he studied the fundamentals of using saboteur magic to mess with a person's capabilities and force them down to his power level. Saboteur magic isn't that hard to understand as it is the complete opposite of support magic, only it weakens rather then strengthens. Unlike support magic, saboteur magic requires a deep understanding of knowledge and how to cripple the target. It is for that reason that Takeshi still has issues casting spells of this category. Still a beginner he has ways to go before he can say that he has fully mastered every spell, but he seems to be making much progress in the short amount of time that he began practicing this magic. If hit with this magic it lasts for five posts, but will have a five post cool down for that specific spell used. Unlike his support magic, Takeshi's crippling spells are a bit more creative in torturing his enemies. Not every spell is dedicated to hindering physical capability.
- Slow - Takeshi's special speed hindering cripple spell, decreases speed capabilities to a great extent.
- Daze - Takeshi's special crippling spell, disorients targets causing lightheadedness, dizziness, and lack of control of the body.
- Seal - Takeshi's special sealing spell, prevents the target from using the last ability they used in battle for the remainder of the spell. Unusable on passives
- Heat of Battle - A spell that causes a damaging aura around the target's soul. A mysterious force envelopes the opponent's soul. And so the faster the target moves, the faster their soul is "burned" away. This causes pain and exhaustion of the target's energy.
- Lightfooted - The target becomes suddenly very light and prone to flying off if force is applied. This makes physical attacks highly ineffective.
+ More techniques will be revealed and/or learned as I use this character a bit more.
Personality: Takeshi is kind and charismatic despite his young age. He can be immature at times, like when he succumbs to acts of teasing, but he's very accepting. Although he wants to be a hero he isn't very brave. During missions he may crack under pressure as his fear of death motivates him to live.
