It was with a heavy sigh and an aloof stare into the distance that Noah stood in front of the fortune telling house. Madam Alexandra as he remembered. Now, Noah was no doubting Thomas when it came to magic. He had Trixie to thank for that. It was just the idea that she had dragged him to this ramshackle stone abode of some fortune teller. Why? What was so special about knowing your future? Noah was the kind person didn't like to think too far into the future. Either he was in the now, or nowhere at all. "Remind me again, why we're here?" The ex-street ruffian asked in an exasperated tone. "Because!" Trixie responded gleefully as she grabbed Noah's hand and dragged him past the wrought iron gate and up to the door step of the fortune teller's house. The chipper young witch then get raps on the door before deciding to give Noah a decent answer. "Truth is, I hear this Madam Alexandra has a really good track record with match making. I just want to see if she's up to snuff." The ex-ruffian palmed his head in embarrassment. Great. Trixie was her just to see if another fellow magic user was real or not. What was the point?! Oh well.

A woman appeared from at the window first. She had pulled the curtain back to look at the world. She was only checking who called upon her. Once she had a good look at them the window curtain closed and after a few seconds the door opened. "Please come in." The gray haired lady in the black robe told Trixie and Noah. Once they were in the woman shut the door and smiled. "What may I do for you today? A fortune or maybe you'd like to see if you are compatible partners in marriage?" The woman asked. To one side of the room there was a long list of the different types of fortunes she could do and the different mentions to find out for each.

When the two were greeted by an elderly looking woman. By Noah calculations, this woman posed absolutely no threat. How boring. The young man was ready for a fight. Plus, he needed the exercise. Once inside, the old started to ask the two what it was they had come for. Upon asking if it was for marriage compatibility, Noah immediately protested. "Whoa! What?! No! We are not here for...that" As much he didn't want to admit it, Noah wasn't good with embarrassing stuff like this. Plus, Trixie was his sister of all things! Well, not really. Trixie and Noah weren't related by blood. A crazy fanfic girl's wet dream. Trixie's face was sanguine hue when asked if the two were here for marriage speculation. In a similar fashion to school girls in anime, the young witch held her head down and tried to hide her face. "I never would have thought anyone would think big brother and I as a couple." After gushing for a brief moment, Trixie regained her composure. "But no. We're here for a fortune telling." The young witch clarified, sounding only slightly disappointed. Trixie peered around the room they were in. It seemed quite cozy. She then spotted the list of different fortunes to select. She pointed to the option near the middle: a look into the past. "We'll take that one." ( I'll try to get Trixie's history ASAP Got it! Post anytime.)

The woman smiled as she noticed their embarrassment. She was always told a fortune-teller should never read the fortunes of someone who had yet to walk in or had just walked through the door. It was bad practice. When the girl picked an an option the woman looked over. All fortune-tellers hand to go through that training. "Follow me then." She respond as she turned her back to the siblings and walked through a door with a black curtain on it. Once they were through the door the woman offered them seats before taking her own across the table. She pulled a cloth away from her crystal ball and smiled. "Who will go first?" The woman said with a wink.

Noah reluctantly followed the old woman into and took a seat across from her. He had no interests in these fortunes. He was actually more concerned with how much this would cost. Trixie knew damn well that Noah didn't have the money for this kind of superficial stuff. He needed the money for things mattered, like food! Speaking of food and money, what were they going to do?! Noah had no kind of job to keep the two of them afloat and the only way the two had been surviving so far was thanks to Trixie's magic. Maybe, just maybe, asking the fortune teller for one little favor might not hurt? Trixie sat down next to her brother, her chair seated uncomfortably close to Noah. When asked who would go first, Trixie spoke up. "Ooh! Tell Noah's past first. He never tells me anything. Like how he got that weird dragon tattoo on his face, or that scar on his arm." The young witch was so excited she practically forgot why she was really here. She was suppose to be testing the would-be fortune teller in front of them

The woman took a glance at the ball, almost as if it was some talking to her. After a bit the woman stopped and turned to the girl. "Both of you are interesting." She commented with a smile as she picked the ball up and held it like a baby in her hands. "You, miss, are of fey origin. How odd." The woman said. She was going to read Trixie's fortune first and ignored Noah for a moment. "Though your origins are cloudy. I suggest you seek out another family to help you find the answers. They are called the Vega Family. The father has fey in him that he gave to his children." The woman answered with a smile. Her smile was loving to the witch girl. After a moment Madam Alexandra turned to Noah. "You however are a naughty one. You shouldn't have been that young and doing that kind of thing." She started to scold Noah. Her eyes became stern. "You better take care of your sister she cares deeply for you. The bond between both of you is powerful." She told them. She placed the ball back onto its setting. "Also don't talk to the girl on the way out. She doesn't need a rascal like you in her life. And most of all don't get into any more fights."

As the ex-delinquent sat there listening to the fortune teller, Noah felt the temptation to start playing the revolver tucked away in his jacket pocket. He resisted this urge though, and kept the pistol in his pocket. Now was the not the time. Noah didn't need this old woman seeing bringing out a gun and juggling it. Though he did feel like blasting a shot off when she started scolding him. It was a actually a bit unnerving how she seemed to know some about him already. the ex-ruffian calmed himself down by thinking it over. She was probably just really good at doing cold readings. Anyone with a working brain could Noah was probably trouble. That didn't explain how she knew Trixie had magic powers though! Trixie began nodding in a mild approval. It pleased her to see someone actually using a crystal ball. It was one of her more favored methods of deviation. and the mention of this Vega family was something new. Trixie was only slightly familiar with them. They that one really rich family right? Either way, apparently, that where the young which and her "big brother" were going next. "Not bad. But I stilled wish to hear more about Noah pasts. Oh well. That will do for now. Thank you very much." Trixie stood up and courtsied to the fortune teller before pulling on Noah's shoulder to take him with her out the door. "C'mon Noah, we have to find this Vega family!" And like that, the two were gone...more or less. Noah was stopped by a certain..someone on the way out. (Where's the Vega Family live anyway?)

⋞Luna Davis⋟ "I really dislike bullies. How about I take control of your mind and make you start beating yourself up?" Luna hesitated outside the shop. She'd heard some rumors about the actual magic of divination, but she'd yet to actually discover anyone with the ability, aside from certain Guardians. However, being Immortal beings, it made sense. But if she found a mortal that could do it... She shook her head to clear it and stepped inside, her head high. She didn't care about the matchmaking aspect, as she had Thomas. But the future was something she was curious about. Or, the past. Whichever one this "Madame Alexandra" could do. She checked the device on her left wrist, a "no" symbol charm on a bracelet, really, to make sure it was working. It'd detect any source of technology used to check records. There were two charms on the bracelet as well, one on either side. A heart, flawlessly carved from amethyst, and a hammer, carved out of a silvery-white rock. As for deceit, she'd be able to sense it. "I'm here to see Madame Alexandra."

"Remember don't touch the girl." The woman called out as the siblings left. She knew the boy wasn't happy with her answer, but she didn't embarrass him in front of his sister. It was his own job to tell about the man in the red duster-coat. It was also his duty to tell her about the gun that she had, but it was his sister's question not his. His sister wanted the questions answered not him. The woman exited the room to see another person waiting. "What kind of fortune would you like today?" She asked the girl in front of her. This girl wasn't a believer and Alexandra knew it. "Love? No. You don't believe in my abilities do you miss Alien Princess." The woman said with a smile. "You also look for peace in the wrong place. Control of this town is fickle. Rich families compete for control while those wizards and witches seem to know what they're doing. I suppose having a sister in a seat of power has helped Pierre Vega best." The woman commented and noticed what she was doing and stopped. "Is there any question you want answered?"

As Noah and little sister were exiting, another custom was entering. She was a very regal looking woman, almost like some kind of royalty. Old fashion royalty though. Noah was sure none of the royal families in today's society would ever dress this way. It just seemed kind of out of style. Regardless of how she appeared, Noah ignored her. The advice the old woman gave echoed in his mind. While she didn't seem like trouble, the ex-ruffian chose to ignore her. He and Trixie had other matters at hand. The young witch on the other hand was fascinated by the woman in the regal dressing. Against her will, though she was pulled away. Noah was pulling her outside and away from the entrance. The young witch frowned as she felt like she was being treated like a child. Deep down, she knew Noah wasn't doing this to be mean though. It was simply a matter of importance. She too remember the wise words of the fortune teller. "Avoid the woman at the door. "Well, I guess it's off to the Vega's." Said sounding a bit deflated. "If I remember correctly, they have a cram school downtown. You should use that rune I gave you to get us there." Trixie might have sounded down at first, but she quickly 180'ed by smiling and batting her eyelashes at her big brother.Noah nodded in agree. The rune Trixie was talking about was some runic inscription had written onto his left hand. The magical runes allowed the boy to jump through the aether and appear in other place. Essentially, Noah was able to teleport thanks to the rune. Though, at first when Trixie "gave" him the rune, he freaked out. The ex-gang leader thought it was just some silly paint, but as days passed and the paint stayed, Noah began panicking. What was with this rune thing? He then inquired Trixie who told him the paint sank into his skin like a tattoo and that there was nothing to fear. She also explained that it would help. All he had to do was think of a place he wanted to go, and he would be there. After much practice, Noah was able to master the teleporting rune tattoo. Now, the ex-gang leader used it to jump through time and space to the entrance of the Vega Cram school with Trixie in tow.

angelmage99 The easiest way to prove she's real, is to have her see the Unity. lost in space for a year. It's considered classified, so she wouldn't know about it, aside from her divination. ⋞Luna Davis⋟ "I really dislike bullies. How about I take control of your mind and make you start beating yourself up?"
Luna looked the lady up and down. Neither her Deceit charm, nor Seireionous's Charm were warning her.
"Oh, far from it. Think of me as...an open minded skeptic. I've seen mahy things, just never true divination. many fakers, but nothing concrete. That's what I'm here for. not to mock you, or expose you as a charlatan, but to study. To see what you can do."
She glanced at the board.
"I guess we can do the look into the past. But please, don't call me princess. I haven't ascended to the throne yet. To my people, Prince or Princess is the ruler."
She figured looking into the past was safer. After all, she'd already learned, long ago, that the future is rarely set in stone. There were only three fixed points in time: The Creation of the Universe, the Creation of life, and the Unending, when all of Creation was undone.

Alexandra looked over the girl and nodded. She wasn't sure if she really wanted to tell the alien her fortune. She had her fun for the day. "I do do fake fortunes. When I'm too lazy, it's just easier. I've had my fun with real fortunes today. What do you want to know?" the woman asked as she turned to her list of ways to do fortunes. "If I'm interested I'll do your fortune."
She finally told the woman what she was willing to do.

⋞Luna Davis⋟ "I really dislike bullies. How about I take control of your mind and make you start beating yourself up?"
Luna's left eyebrow went up, a habit she'd picked up from her father.
"Oh, come now, don't pull something fake on a woman that comes in here, giving you a chance to change her opinion on your line of work."
Luna's tone was a playful teasing. She'd learned, at a rather young age, that there's always a possibility. She'd seen people brought back to life, people age before her very eyes, and even a creature that lived in the vacuum of space.

The woman stopped. She was using her powers way too much in this case and just needed to turn them off for a moment . "I'm not a mind reader. I only have glimpses of the past and future. You'll have to tell me the meaning behind coming to me. I only saw you playing if your little toys." She told the alien woman. "Follow me. There are many ways to see the future." She added before taking the girl the a room next door.
