 Kurama was sitting in front of his algebra class explaining long division to the class. he notice everyone was asleep even the teach and sighed but keep on teach he then got a little pissed an took the math book he was holding and drooped it on the floor. causing everyone to jump. " and that my fellow class mates is how you solve long division using fractions." he said with a small smile and return to his set beside a shy girl in a turtle neck sweater.

Melissa blinked. She jumped a little when Kurama banged the text book on the table. She seemed to be the only one that didn't fall asleep in class. How strange. She smiled a little and leaned against her hand and watched him. "Nice class Professor Mimimano," she muttered softly.

Shuichi laughed " i'm not a teacher yet but that doesn't sound like a bad ideal for a future job. "  the teacher jumped up from the loud noise of the book hitting the floor and fell back in his chair hitting the floor. " good work shuichi but try to keep the lecture short next time. i'm afraid the class has fallen to sleep." he sighed then looked around at the mumbling students. " sense you all fell asleep but shuichi and Melissa here you all have a pop quiz tomorrow i hope you took notes on Shuichi's lecture cause its on long division with fractions" (figured they needed a teacher for each class so i found a few)

Melissa blushed when all the kids in the class glared at her. She knew some of the tough girls would rough her around in the locker room in gym later on for this. It wasn't her fault that Shuichi's voice didn't lull her to sleep like all the rest of them, but if she used that as an excuse she'd be shoved into a locker, locked in it, and forgotten about until the week was out for sure, and she hated that it was way to dark in those things with only some light to spare.
She trembled a little at the very thought, and sweatdropped. Of course the full lockers were a virtue compared to the gym ones, and some how the girls managed to fit her in those sometimes when they were angry enough. "Maybe I should skip gym today, I don't feel so good," she laughed rubbing the back of her head nervously.

" hmm maybe you should sit with me today in lunch as a treart for not falling asleep." said shuichi looking over at Melissa then noticed the other girls giving her the death glare. " now ladies you all have sit with me at lunch its only fair that the new girl gets to sit with me." he then turn over toward Melissa " my names Shuichi but you can call me Kurama and you are?"

Melissa blinked and blushed a little. "No need to give me special treatment," she said waving her hand. "And besides," she said. "Shuichi is easier to say," she added softly. "why don't we walk home together, if you can find which locker i've been stuffed into before the day is over," she whispered to him. "I'd check the girls locker room first," she whispered before running out of the room.
If it was anything like her old school, there would be swat teams of girls after her after that little chit chat. He seemed to be the the most popular guy in school. All the girls in her class seemed to like him. She did sort of feel bad for him anyway.

" " a locker really who shoves a girl in a locker?" he said to himself puzzled walking to the lunchroom and made his way over to his usual spot then waited for yusuke, hiei, and kuwabara to get there.

Melissa wanted to sit next to them really, really badly. But she gulped a little and walked to the next table that seemed to be taken, until some of the cheer leaders/popular girls walked over to her.
"Excuse me, miss new girl but that's our seat!" The group said and folded her arms and smirked a little. They could have just sat at the table on the otherside of Shuichi, but they liked watching his eyes when he actually looked up from his book.
Melissa blinked when she was about to take a bite out of her lunch and blinked. "Oh, there's more then enough seats, and I'm not bothering anyone, I'll be really quiet, and you won't know I'm here," she said beaming. "right?" she asked. She didn't want any trouble. Not now.
The other girl to her right sighed. "she does have a point," she muttered. "and it's not like she took your seat Misuki-chan," she pointed out. "And she's new," she added smirking a little. "Maybe we can show her around, who not to hang out with," she said glancing at Melissa.

 Akio made her way threw the lunch room carrying her lunch tray when she spotted a familiar red head boy and quickly made her way over to the table and sighed when she spotted the gang of his many fan girls. " how many times must i tell you girls Mr. Shuichi doesn't want to be bothered" she said with her hands on her hips. then gave them all a death glare. NOW GET LOST EVERYONE!!! NOW EACH ONE OF YOU BEAT IT OR I'LL CALL URMASHI ON YOU." she figured i she didn't scare them away the toughest guy in school would. after a ew seconds all the girls but Melissa had left the area. Akio glared at Melissa " is she bugging you Mr. Shuichi" she said leaning in closer and looking Melissa in the eyes.

Melissa sweatdropped. "Hey! I'm new here and he invited me to sit with him, but I was polite and tried to sit at a different table!" She snapped and sulked her way over to the side of Shuichi's table that wasn't taken and bowed her head and started to eat. "Maybe i should move somewhere else," she muttered softly.
"The people here are scary and could shove me into lockers at any moment," she muttered.

Shuichi sweat dropped then buster out laughing " chill Akio she's a friend of mine and i Invited her to join me at lunch cause shes new here. also you didn't have to move from this set you know if you want you can still sit her besides Akio was keeping my stalkers away." he said patting the set beside him. "besides this is your permanent set from now own during lunch or breakfast that is if you eat breakfast here at school"

She blinked and blushed a little as she walked over to him and sat down next to him like a lost puppy, snuggling against him a little. She didn't normally act like that, but she was scared. And no one treated her like this at her old school. Was this a dream that she was going to get awaken to early from?
"Breakfest?" she blushed, She did remember seeing him during the early morning bell but she supposed as a top A student, he had to be here early. "Well I normly make it before the bell just rings," she said and blushed a little. "Not quite a morning person." she said laughing lightly.
She knew by the glares at the girls, that she was going to get shoved into a gym locker before school ended. She didn't have all her classes with Mimimano sadly.

Akio giggled " so your Shuichi's friend that's not to bad i guess besides anyone who's a friend of his is a friend of mine." said Akio taking a bite out of her pizza. she then looked around the cafeteria " say Shuichi wheres the guys at?" she didn't really care about Yusuke or kuwabra it was mostly hiei she was worried about.

Melissa blinked in confusion, and looked up at Shuuichi as if asking, 'what just happened?' but rested her head against his lap. She never had someone to do this with before, all the guys that she knew would push her off.
she just closed her eyes and sighed. She knew Shuuichi would be different then most though. She felt safe around him. "thank you," she muttered.

" hmm i'm not so sure where those three are at just be patient Akio they'll show up sooner or later" he then turn to face Melissa " it looks like you just became friends with my personal body guard. Akio meet Melissa and Melissa this is Akio shes student body president of the ti chi club, head mistress of the knitting club and top player for our tennis team. " he said with a cheeky smile as the two girl shook hands.
