 [only post for now. gotta get going into town. sorry]
Flit canted his head and stared at the female wolf curiously. She was a very odd wolf, but then again so was he. He sighed and got up. Curiosity took over as he slowly started walking over to Eisig when he heard her talking again. He listened to her words and he sighed. They were a jumble of words put together in a sentence and it confused him slightly. It took him several minutes to get the meaning of what she had said. "I don't know. Maybe the 'furry thing' thought you were going to eat it." He shrugged slightly at the other wolf as he scratched an itch on his neck. "Where do I come from? I came from nowhere on a journey to find a pack that I can call home. And you?"
He jumped slightly when the female wolf yelled at something. He looked around and saw no one nearby. He glanced back at Eisig as she backed up into the tree. he suddenly felt guilty of nothing he had done. Slowly, he approached Eisig and gently nuzzled her neck with his maw. "It's alright. I don't hate you," he said to her in a quiet voice.

[sorry i didn't reply sooner. Forgot about the RP. sweatdrop ]
Flit sighed when her eyes met up with his and he smiled slightly when she gave him a reassuring lick on his cheek. He nuzzled her neck again, this time gentler than before and he listened to her words carefully.
He shook his head and backed away from Eisig a few inches. "But I don't want to go. You aren't weird. Everyone else is just...normal." He wagged his tail slowly and urged her to stand up. He bounded away from her a few feet and looked back to see if she was standing up and following him.

Flit surpressed a giggle when he saw Eisig's reaction to the dried mud on her nose. He shook his head slightly and noticed that she had noticed him waiting for her. He smiled widely and waited for her to get to his side. "Shall we explore this strange land and see what is out there?" he asked her calmly. He wanted to explore the lands, but he didn't want to alone.
He slowly walked towards the edge of the forest and glanced back to see if she was following him. he hoped that the she-wolf would follow him. It would be quite a lonely trip if she didn't come with him. it would also be a good chance to get to know the she-wolf better and hopefully ask her to join the pack that he was interested in. He had heard from outside sources that his old friend, Phib, had started a pack of his own and he wanted to join it.

[that is true. the only way to get someone to post is to post something in the thread or nudge them w/ a PM. it is a good thing i always refresh the page every 10 minutes or so]
Flit sighed as he stared at Eisig trying to get the mud free of from her nose. He was about to help here when he saw her fall down into the mud in front of her. He was glad that she had accepted his offer to go running with him, but he was more worried about her than happy. He gently nudged her neck with his muzzle as he pinned his ears back. "Are you alright?" he asked her with a hint of worry in his voice.
He glanced around the forest and shivered. The forest gave him the creeps. He always spent his alone times out on the meadow. He didn't know why. He had no knowledge of his past, yet he felt very uncomfortable in the forest. He nudged her again and sighed. he didn't want to have her feel rushed, but the feeling he was getting wasn't a good one. He glanced at the squirrel as it started to approach the two wolves. He bared his fangs at the squirrel when he didn't see his glare. The squirrel stopped in its tracks, but then it began to stare at the oddly colored wolf. Flit narrowed his eyes and yipped loudly at the squirrel, causing it to run away from him and Eisig. He sighed and flicked his tail. Slowly, he pulled his lips back over his fangs and looked down at Eisig curiously. "Do you need help? are you alright?" he asked her again.

[brb in about 30 minutes. gotta eat dinner]
Flit heard Eisig ask him if something was wrong. he canted his head to one side. he could tell that her tone of voice held worry in it. He sighed and shook his head slightly. "No, you did nothing wrong. I was just spooked by a bird, that's all."
He gently nuzzled her neck when he saw that her eyes held sadness in them. he didn't mean to make her worry about him. he wasn't used to being around others-especially females. He wagged his tail slowly as if to show the she-wolf that he was alright. He nuzzled her neck again before slowly started to wash off the mud that had collected on Eisig's muzzle.

[yeah, but only for a few hours. gotta go somewhere around 6 PM Pacific time]
Flit stopped washing Eisig's face and he looked at her curiously. He shrugged slightly and sighed. "Something to do with my past, although I don't remember much of it," he told her quietly. He sighed as he sat down on his haunches and looked at her with a curious look on his face. "Why do you ask?" he ws curious as to why Eisig was curious why he was afraid of birds. 'Are there not that many wolves that are afraid of birds?' he thought to himself.
He shrugged the thought away as he thumped his tail on the ground. he glanced at Eisig's face and sighed. He had gotten most of the mud off, but there was still some on her face. 'Looks like we gotta find some water to get the rest of the mud off of her face,' he thought to himself bitterly. Slowly, he stood up and slowly started walking towards the edge of the forest, hoping that Eisig might follow him.

Flit glanced back at Eisig as he canted his head to one side. He looked like a bird? He shook his head. There was no way he could look like a shiny, fast bird...or could he? He sighed as he carefully lifted his paws off of the snow. 'Me? A bird-wolf? Is there a way to look like a bird?' He canted his head, trying to remember another wolf that looked like a bird and one came to his thoughts. 'Kite looks like one, too. Maybe there are some wolves that have the pelt of birds.' He lifted his tail up slightly as he slowed his pace down so that it matched Eisig's. He glanced at her again and gave her a shy smile. "Let's go find a lake that isn't frozen over," he told her happily.

The female blinked again then a bright smile flew across her face at the mention of a lake. Lakes were wonderful things. Even when they are cold they are far too much fun to miss out on a chance to swim in. Then she thought for a moment about what he said about plets. her plet was weird. very weird. No wonder her mother named her 'Icy Flames." Though, she never heard of suck of thing as frozen fire. Ever.
"Is der such a ting as frozen fire?" She stared at the male intently wodneering if her truely had an answer for that question. She hooped so for it was not fun always having to wonder. Maybe she would set forth on a quest to find a frozen flame. maybe.. she could even bring Flit with her!
