Crows cawed in the distance as the sun rose again to start off another new day with its warm rays of light. Thelchtereia yawned, peered out of her makeshift grove, and uncoiled herself slowly not wanting to wake up so soon. Around her, she was already able to see newborn hairy animals with their parents and colourful insects flying about in the forest. She swatted a wasp away with her tail's fin as she rose up on all fours.
Beside her, was her favourite hunting knife and she picked it up between her shiny white teeth. She found that sharp weapon many years ago while she was hunting her prey out of hunger and ended up killing it at an abandoned camping site where humans once stayed.
Again, she used her tail's fin to wipe the hair away from her eyes. Without much thought, she started to wander through the forest she called 'home'. First things first, a face wash was needed. She refused to start off her day with gunk near her eyes and eyelids. As she trotted over the limp grass looking for a puddle of water, a mellow alluring tune was heard as Thelch warmed up her vocal cords.
