Christmas in Spring  Walking around the lodge's sitting area I decide to buy a large cup of hot coco then go over to a couch then sit on the cousin in the middle with my tail wrapped around my hind paws. Blowing on the coco every so often to cool it off. Last thing I want to do is burn my tongue on my favorite warm drink. With the whipped topping melting I start licking it up avoiding the very hot coco. Thinking how lovely it will taste when I finally get to drink it. Though the thought of finding a place that sells cotton candy is still on my mind.

Melody sits on a couch looking out the window. A lodge was an odd place to be in the spring where there was very little to no snow around, but she decided to take a vacation away from the family for a while by herself. She'd purchased a Peppermint Patty, a hot chocolate with some peppermint snapps in it and sipped on it lightly, allowing it to warm her hands.
A young fox sat on the couch across from her appearing to be juggling with her hot chocolate, potentially too hot, as it seemed to be. She smiled at the other fox lightly and giggled a bit at this juggling act.

 Cody had visited the lodge quite often, making it a regular place to be during his most favorite time of the year. Winter! But even still, without the snow and the cold, he still enjoyed a nice get away and an occasional cup of hot chocolate, extra on the chocolate with marshmallows to boot. Of course, he also had to get a little ginerbread fox to dip into the chocolate, wouldn't be the same without that tiny hint of spice!
Balancing his cup and cookie carefully so as to not disrupt the tiny white pillows floating in his drink, he made his way over to the couches to find a seat. Two other's were here, seeming to have the same idea. Two ladies he had never seen before either. "Hello ladies! Mind if I join you?" he asked, his cheeks turning a soft pink color as he looked between the two.

After cooling my hot coco I see another fox sitting on the couch she has hot coco and*sniffing the air* peppermint? A warm filling starts to fill my check at the thought of peppermint. Hearing the giggling I blush making my checks warmer. That's when I hear someone, looking up I see another fox. This fox, he has marshmallows and a little gingerbread fox. The gingerbread fox looks cute though they are some times a bit too spicy for my taste. He too has a cup of hot coco. So when he says something I become startled and almost spill my now warm coco on the floor. Not knowing what to say I start drinking a bit of my coco gaining some confidence back.
After calming myself down as best I could I shyly smile, "Oh, join us? I guess if it's alright with, um." Looking at the other lady I ask, "What is your name? My name is Siroi Lily, though you can call me Siroi or Lily." Then looking up at him again I smile then quickly go back to drinking my hot coco. Not that I was drinking my hot coco quickly, in fact that part I was taking my time on not wanting to chock or anything.

Melody observes this interaction of Lily with a smile on her face. The young girl seems quite flustered about something. She looks up at the male and nods to him as he approaches and Lily quickly responds. "Melody, my name is Melody." She nods towards Lily, "Nice to meet you Miss Lily."
She moves over slightly on the couch to allow for the male to have some room to sit. "Please, join us." She gestures placing her own brew down on the dark oak wooden end table beside the old couch. "What brings you both to the lodge on this Spring day?"

Smiling, the snowman like fox's tail wiggles slightly, the pink on his cheeks darkening. "It is very nice to meet you Miss Lily and Miss Melody! I'm Cody." he said, steadying his drink on a small coffee table before taking a seat on the couch as well. He always enjoyed meeting new faces at the lodge! "Came for a nice relaxing visit and of course for some cocoa!" he laughs, grabbing up his cup and blowing on it a bit, eyes centered and concentrated on the tiny marshmallows as they slid about.

Smiling up at Melody I say, "That is a very nice name." Blushing, "No one ever called me Miss before, you are so very sweet Miss Melody." Then I start drinking some more of my cooc getting to the point where I am relaxed again.
Looking up I smile some more, "I'm not really sure why, I guess I heard something about hot coco, or hot chocolate, which ever way. And I came running because I just love the stuff and can't get enough. There are so many different blends, toppings, and other things you can dip in it, it appears." I continue to drink my hot cooc because I can't get enough and I had ordered a large which will take me a while to finish. Though looking at Cody's I start to wish I had gotten marshmallows. Or Melody's, those peppermint snapps look good. My face begins to brighten with brighter reds as the scent swirls in my thoughts.

Melody giggles again at the two, both very silly and young and full of energy. She nods towards Cody acknowledging his comments and smiles at Lily as she makes the comment that people don't call her Miss often. "I call most people Miss or Sir unless I know to call them otherwise. I figure it's the most gracious path to go for those unknown."
She notices that both Cody and Lily seem have their faces reddening and her motherly instincts kick in. "Are you two feeling alright? You both seem to have quite the blush about you." A concerned look passes over her face as she reaches out to touch Lily's cheek checking for temperature.

Cody laughed, setting his cup down before straightening his cap a bit. "It's a lovely place, I used to come here with my sister before she went off to do other things." smiles and nods, reaching for his cup again. Smiling he glanced over at the one called Melody, chuckling softly. "I am quite fine, thank you for asking Miss." he grinned, his cheeks flushing a bit more. He always seemed to be easily embarrassed or blushed easy and so usually went with it.

Smiling, "That is a good idea, I'll have to try that next time if I'm not too shy that is..." Putting my head head, "I guess my shyness and the excitement of meeting you two is getting to me." Putting my ears back, "The hot coco seems to have made things worse, maybe I should have gotten a smaller one..."
Copying Cody I place my hot coco on the table near me then I listen to Melody and Cody. While the blush starts to go away on my checks I realize they still look like I am still blushing.

Leaning back again away from Lily she smiles relieved. "Well I think you're okay thankfully." She smiles back at them both. "Well we do all love hot chocolate and the lodge. Personally, this is my first time up here in this season, but it is quite nice." She looks over towards the fire that burns nearby. "It has such a homey feel as well. Well..." Putting her paws in her lap she continues "do either of you have any fun plans for your weekend here?"

Cody couldn't help but chuckle softly. "The coco seems to have that effect on noodles! MmmMmm its so good though!" he grinned, taking a few more sips of his cup, pausing only to mouth the word hot repeatedly, tongue sticking out to check for any burns. One would think he'd know by now just how hot they can be! Carefully holding his cup in one paw, he waved his paw over his tongue a moment before pulling it back in his mouth. "Plans? Hmm, I usually just wing it when I'm here! Seeing how I feel from one day to the next."

My ears go up again while I smile then start petting my tail for some strange reason. Though it is so very soft and fluffy, then I continue listening. After she said about it being her first time in this season I chimed, "It's my first time here, normally I'll stay closer to home though I decided to go and explore a bit. See some new sights and new faces." Looking over at the fire burning nearby I stare into the flames almost memorized by them. When she spoke again I shook my head then paid attention to both Melody and Cody. Nodding I agree with her. Gasping, "Oh no, plans...." Placing my right paw over my mouth for a quick moment then taking it away, "I forgot all about my plans for this weekend....."
"Coco does seem to have some kind of effect as you say. It sure is good, even great sometimes if I do say so." When he burnt his tongue I cooed, "That's why I decided to blow on mine till it was cooled down. I've burnt my tongue on a number of occasions." Taking my coco I walk away for a bit to get some more milk then quickly return and sit how I was sitting before. Drinking my more milky coco now.

OOC: Sorry how late this was guys. x.x; Melody sipped a bit more of her chocolate warming her paws and listening and giggling a bit at Cody's theatrics before placing it back down again. She turned towards Lily when she arrived back, Oh? Well it's quite nice up here, especially this time of year when there are less people around." She sighed lightly "I really do hate crowds when towing small children around."

Grinning cheesily at the two girls, Cody laughed. "I do blow, sometimes. But its just so good hot that I just can't help taking the risk." he said, holding his cup between his paws and leaning his nose over to take in a deep breath of the wonderful chocolatey smell. He then reached over to grab his ginger fox cookie and dipped it into the coco, waiting for the end of its tail to get nice and soft, slightly soggy, before biting it off. "MmmmMm. Sogood." he said to himself, his words streamed together. He then blinked over at Melody. "Are they that bad? I never noticed... maybe I just don't pay attention enough...." he mused.
