F3V3R teamed up with her March Hare, flanking the tiny tree thing. She was a bit overlevelled for this; good thing her cards were terrible, and that would probably be all the saving grace this dumb tree needed.
Really, this combat system was fascinating, but she wasnt' sure it was better than how she fought in real time. "Climb up?" she told her little March Hare, since it had already attacked, and she was content to have it ride on her shoulders for the rest of the fight.

F3V sighed and tilted her head, rolling her shoulders and bouncing on both feet. The tree's lashing hardly bothered her at all. "I don't really feel like dragging this out," she told her March Hare, before diving towards the tree and basically slicing it into toothpicks.
"Done," she said, in a fairly indifferent tone.

F3V3R waited for her experience marker. What had she made off this tiny fight? Surely nothing worth noting... In fact, she received nothing at all for killing the tree. Far from being annoyed or disappointed, she merely said:
"Seems pretty appropriate," in a sort of bored tone, and wandered off with her Hare.
