Julienne felt something coming towards her. As of right now, she was lounging in a tree, spread across a branch, letting her paws drape over the side, and to be honest, it was very comfortable. She yawned slightly and cracked one of her eyes open to try and see whoever it was that was coming.
They had the soft glow though, there was no doubt about that. Whoever it was that was coming close was a senshi in disguise. How wonderful.
The Siberian got up, perching on the tree branch and stretching, allowing her paws to curl wonderfully. Oh that hit the spot. Very much so.
She sat there, waiting for the person to come closer and saw a lot of bright orange hair. That must be her! The senshi who didn’t yet know…
Well. How better to start this thing than by saying hello, so that is just what she did. A voice from up in a tree, no big deal. “Hello there! It’s a lovely day, isn’t it?”

Bwuh?That was Luca's first ungainly thought when she heard the voice. Someone was talking to her, but... who? It wasn't like there were that many people around, and those who were there were just coming or going. She looked around and didn't see anyone who appeared to have their attention on her. Nonetheless, she had definitely heard a voice, so perhaps she should answer back...? If they weren't talking to her, she'd just have to find out. "Um, hello?" she said back, though she was probably looking in the wrong direction entirely.

Julienne giggled a little, finally jumping down from the tree and doing a splendid mid air back flip, if she did say so herself. When she landed on the ground, something else landed in front of her, a beautiful, sparkling new henshin pen. The cat looked up at the girl and gave what was unmistakably an adorable kitty grin. “This is for you, if you would like it. My name is Julienne, and you…well, you are something special indeed.”
She sat back, wanting to allow the girl a chance to work out any confusion…or whatever. A lot of times new senshi reacted…badly to talking cats. But, there was nothing that she could really do to help with that. It was who she was, after all.

At first, Luca just stared. Yeah, this cat was definitely talking. And it had dropped something interesting. She had heard of some weird things happening in Destiny City recently, but she never thought said weird things would happen to her. "Um... hi, Julienne," she said with a nervous smile. "I'm Luca." She reached down, picked up the henshin pen, and inspected it. "What is this? And... uh... what do you mean by 'something special?'" Something big was going to happen, Luca felt. The pen would either explode in her face or the cat would turn into a monster or everything would just poof away like nothing ever happened (yes, that counted as something big).
