"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the BBW World Championship! Introducing first...

Weather: Clear.
Wind: 6 mph.
Temperature: 51 degrees Fahrenheit.
PostPosted: Tue Apr 01, 2014 3:16 am

Silence. The only thing being heard, the roar of fans as the show was winding down. Many people checked their phones. 10:29. The main event must be up next, there is no way this was going to be going on much longer. The show ends at 11! However, still silence. Chants broke out everywhere, "Lets Go Hiro", "Copperhead Croft", "B-B-W", "Shan-A-Han", "This Is Awesome". Damn right. "This Is Awesome" chants before the main event of the night.

"...The following contest-"

The fans roared so loud, it shut up the ring announcer for a second. He chuckled a bit, before going back to his job.

"The following contest, set for one fall, is for the BAD...BLOOD...WRESTLING...WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!"

The fans are on their feet. The roar of the crowd heard miles upon miles away, bouncing off of the building surrounding the park, going down many streets, the waves flowing. Suddenly, a ripple in the crowd cheering began. The PA system, kicking in.

On a long and lonesome highway east of Omaha
You can listen to the engines, moanin' out it's one old song
You can think about the woman, or the girl you knew the night before

But your thoughts will soon be wandering the way they always do
When you're riding sixteen hours and there's nothing much to do
You don't feel much like ridin', you just wish the trip was through

The crowd absolutely popped for the Metallica cover of an old Bob Seger song, "Turn the Page". The wind began picking up, blowing people's jackets and hats about, forcing the fans to keep them secured. The wind continued to pick up, as did business. Out from the back, busting out like a fireball, came the Cuban-Jap, the Underdog, the Ethnic Enigma, Hiro. He stood out on the stage, over looking the fans in attendance, his hair getting blown back by the progressively breezy wind.

There really wasnt much hair to blow back really. It was really short, so maybe there is a little over exaggerating going on there. None-the-less, Hiro made his way down the ramp, bobbing his head with the music, really pumped for action. He high fived a few fans, getting really into it with some as they tried to psych him up. Hiro reached the end of the ramp. slamming his hands down on the padded ground and bringing them back up in an AJ Styles-esq way as pyro shot up behind him, bright green fireworks, all for the challenger. However, soon, after the pyro went off, the major lighting for the small makeshift arena that the BBW had constructed was turned off. Now, only the stars and the moon kept things somewhat visible. However, a single spotlight engulfed Hiro, showing him staring up into the sky. His music, stopped. The only thing that could be heard were the fans begging for the continuation, on the edge of their seats, wondering what was next. Finally, Hiro yelled out as loud as he could...."HERE I AMMMMMMMMMM". Silence. He silenced the ENTIRE park. His voice echoed throughout the surrounding area. The spotlight kept itself fixated on the Cuban-Jap, his eyes closed and his arms out stretched as his head was pointed up to the sky.

Moments. Hiro's whole life was moments. Leading to this one. He hadn't won a match in a long while. It happens sometimes. People lose. However...The last time he got physical with someone, he left them DESTROYED. The final monkey was off his back. This was it. YEARS. He's had shots at the EWA Championship. The WWF:G Undisputed Championship. The Evolution Championship. The DHW Championship. The LWL Championship. The XDW Championship. The NBWA Championship. He's had so many world title opportunities, losing every single one except for his miracle capture of the LWL World Champioship. However, as long a list that was...There was one thing he truly wanted. One belt he had saw and fell for right away. He never told a soul, however. He wanted the BBW Championship. Not many people had gotten so many shots at a companies world title. This was Hiro's eighth opportunity in his five year long competitive career.

Moments. All leading to this one...against a man whom he did so much for. Hiro did more of Salem Croft than many really did. Some could say...Salem wouldn't be doing what he was doing right now if not for the exposure Hiro gave him. However, now, the rookie was about to meet another veteran. Not a veteran like Jarel Damone...A different veteran. A veteran that not a single person can make a case against when it came to being a world champion. When it came to gold, Hiro was as much a rookie as Salem was. You don't have as long a career as the Ethnic Enigma without accomplishing a lot...but Hiro could merely say he's had some pretty good matches that he didn't win. That was the extent. This...This would be different.

The fans were getting restless, but still somewhat hushed....and finally, their patience was rewarded. "....HERE I AMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!" bellowed Hiro, and much like the Usos did, he slammed his hands into the ground as his music kicked right back in, as did the lights, and another huge round of pyro into the sky. The fans roared in amusement and pleasure. There were some people who followed Hiro his whole career in the audience today. Some were die hard fans of him. They knew of his struggles behind the scenes, his attitudes, and what he's done to get to the point he is at now. A long road to redemption leading right to this point. Right to this....Moment.

But here I am,

on the road again

There I am,

up on the stage

There I go,

playing the star again

There I go,

turn the page...

"HERE I AMMMMMMM!"

Hiro again bellowed those words, and as he did, he ran into the ring, right under the bottom ropes, and popped right back up, pointing to each and every fan he could, seemingly saying "Thank you". He hopped about the ring, slapping the ring announcer a five, and he was now ready for the final climb. He could see the summit. However, as was stated earlier, as Hiro knew, and as the whole arena knew, Hiro had to fight a friend. He had to fight someone he helped teach. He had to fight what he helped create. It was like he had to fight family. However...The Cuban-Jap was ready. The Copperhead was in for a rude awakening, here tonight.

"Introducing first...From Tokyo, Japan, he weighs in tonight at 240 pounds, and stands six foot, three inches tall! He is the Ethnic Enigma, the Underdog, and the challenger here this evening........YOUR HERO, AND ROLE MODEL....HIRO SHIN-MOZAS!"

Salem Croft

PostPosted: Thu Apr 03, 2014 9:50 pm

"I know these hills..."

"I know these hills..."

"Touch of the earth...rain in the sky..."

"Blood on the blade...hear the angels cry..."

"Remember my name...the look in my eyes, oh I..."

"Oh, I..."

Stepping out from behind the curtain of the main stage, Salem Croft emerged to the jam-packed arena who wasted no time in welcoming him warmly to the evening's main event match. Across his shoulders, the young man carried with him a pair of possessions that had become synonymous with his time in Bad Blood Wrestling - a burlap sack strewn over one shoulder, with his coveted and cleaned BBW World Title opposite it on his other arm. From his hand, a rusty-brown looking length of rubber sprawled out all the way to the stage floor, none other than his signature microphone styled in the theme of his moniker, "The Copperhead". But still, Salem didn't speak into it to address his faithful fans. Instead, the champ simply wore a slight smile and stared down at Hiro from a distance, excited to be seeing his friend up-close and in-action, tonight. Bare chested, though a faint sweat had left his bronzed skin glistening with an almost slimy, scaly shine, Salem started off down the ramp, using his empty hand to high-five the audience along the barricade while bringing the microphone up to his mouth.

"Heheh...thanks," he muttered quietly to a fan, though his voice registered on the receiver. "You know, I didn't quite know what to think when I found out I'd be facing you tonight, Hiro." Salem mused from about halfway down the ramp, still training his eyes on his opponent, but with a more friendly disposition than he'd entered the arena with. "After all, you've been with me since my very debut in professional wrestling...you know my style, you know my moves, you know my attitude...so maybe that's why you probably have a better understanding of how I am than most anyone around here."

Reaching ringside, Salem neglected taking his usual lap around the ring, instead favoring a more direct approach by moving towards the steel stairs nearest him and starting up onto the apron, some fans trying to get pictures or footage through their smartphones as this happened. They had time, it didn't appear that "The Copperhead" was in any hurry to come to blows with his longtime buddy, even if he was wasting little time in getting up into the ring.

"But, as much of a setback as that might make for me...since you know me so well, you also know something very, very valuable..." he continued, standing on the other side of the corner while looking on at Hiro getting situated inside the ring. "You know something important, something that Jarel had to learn the hard way, twice. Something that b*****d Killman has yet to realize...something that Freakshow found out last year, but in his old age seems to have forgotten. You know just how far I'm willing to push myself, to get where I want in this industry. You know just how much this...precious...title..." he said, stretching out the last three words while raising the belt high for all to see. This ushered in a wave of cheers for the gleaming and prestigious belt that they both intended to fight for up for as the referee approached to take it safely towards the timekeeper's table, Salem pausing before continuing to allow those in the stands to appreciate the belt and what it stood for.

"...You know how much holding it up like that means to me. So..." Salem said, crouching over to drop the sack down onto the apron, running up the rungs of the ring post to jump over the top turnbuckle and onto the center of the canvas, standing before Hiro with a burst of athleticism. The referee was just getting back into the ring at this time, waiting for Salem to step back so the match could begin. But for a brief second, the champion kept where he was...remaining chest-to-chest with his challenger, his friend, as though sizing him up for the fight ahead, like a young lion looking to stand his ground against the old alpha of the pride.

"No hard feelings, man. I know you want this belt, but tonight, I'm going to show you I want it that much more."

With the audience alight with excitement, Salem reached out and handed his custom microphone to the official, nodding at him before backing away a few paces so the referee could start the bout. Flexing his fists, "The Copperhead" tested the tightness of the snake print gauze that wrapped his hands and wrists, making sure it wasn't going to interfere with any punching or grappling before the time soon came that he'd need to do either. Hiro was known for being a wily and clever adversary, perhaps more so than anyone Salem had yet faced in BBW, and the prospect of tangling with the likes of him for the world title was certainly going to up the stakes even more for both men involved. With the fans restarting their chant of "THIS IS AWESOME!", Salem rubbed a knuckle against his own chin while coiling his fingers into a fist, holding it to his chest while looking over at his friend with a grin. This would be fun.

As the bell rang, Hiro ripped off his jacket, tossing it to a ring hand. He stared across the ring at his opponent, a man he hasn't met in the squared circle in quite some time. The Cuban-Jap was about to make a move...except the fans were getting started quickly. A huge pop and some misc cheers began for the two men as the match was ready to start. They knew this was something special, more than just an average title match. Something big was gonna happen here tonight. Technical Wrestling? Hardcore Wrestling? Nothing Special? Blood? Weapons? Back Stabbing? Destroyed Relationships? The answer was yet to be known, as the two men showed the same respect to the fans as they did to them, the Cuban-Jap smiling at his opponent and nodding, and clapping the fans on a bit.

Salem felt the trembling of excitement rattle his bones, or perhaps it was merely the intensity of the fans as they cheered on what would surely be a sensational main event, clapping and shouting with enough fervor to drown out a thunderstorm. Though he was excited to be stepping into the ring with his old friend, Salem didn't show it - the stern, almost sinister stare on his face reflecting the serpent inside the young world champion, his attitude one of utter ruthlessness once inside the squared circle. All the same, this would be a match worth talking about, as Hiro was certainly an opponent worthy of sinking Salem's teeth into.

Awaiting the upcoming challenge of his anxious contender, "Copperhead" Croft limbered up by rolling his head slowly from side to side, never breaking his gaze off Hiro in the process of doing a lap around the ropes, slithering smoothly around the ring like it were his personal pit of pain. While the audience got amped up with their clapping and chanting, Salem wasted no time in striking first as he approached Hiro, looking to lock up with the challenger and immediately start throwing a knee into the gut, hoping to weaken his balance and break his wind to start things off!

Here we go, business was finally starting to pick up! Salem and Hiro locked up, the fans staying loud, and Salem connected with a knee to Hiro's gut, sending the Ethnic Enigma stumbling a little right into a corner. Hiro grabbed both top ropes that sprung out from the top turnbuckle, keeping himself on his feet in the corner. Expecting the champion to come after him, as he drew close, Hiro would attempt to deliver a stiff kick to his gut, and switch places with the champion, putting him in the corner instead!

Salem's knee found the soft spot of Hiro's abdomen, forcing the #1 Contender to retreat into the corner as Croft advanced for a follow-up. But instead, it was Hiro who was quick to attack, throwing a knee up in response to the champion's opening salvo! Exchanging gut checks, Salem was interrupted mid-step and put into the corner by his opponent, using one hand to hold the top rope while the other cradled his stomach a second to lessen the damage done by the force of impact.

The challenge had just switch momentum in the very early of this match, attempting to send a few punches with his left hand to the temple of the Copperhead, hoping to really get him ready to fight, light him up a bit! Nothing better than repeated shots to the head to get things ready! The fans roared in support for both men, a "Lets Go, Salem!" chant breaking out rather quickly, being countered with, "Lets Go, Hiro!" chants! By gawd, this could have been the loudest the crowd has been all night, by a large margin!

Salem was still trying to catch his breath when Hiro started laying into him with left hands, the champion throwing up his right arm to defend himself after eating the second punch! Fire in his eyes, "The Copperhead" would throw a left haymaker of his own, followed by another, hoping to daze Hiro with some dazzling fist work enough to back him up, enabling Salem to attempt whipping him hard into the corner once again with a jerk of the arm should he be successful!

The challenger managed to get off a couple of shots, but Salem quickly returned with a stiff shot! Hiro stumbled back, eating another one! The fans were going wild, Salem getting right back into it almost instantly the way he did was inspiring. However, as the champion looked to whip Hiro, the Cuban-Jap planted his feet and stood his ground, using his strength to counter the irish whip, and instead, try to pull the champion into a hard clothesline!

The moment Salem felt his momentum halted, he'd expected Hiro to be aiming some evil intent his way, preemptively ducking to avoid the clothesline as he was pulled back towards the hungry challenger! Displaying his quickness and agility, Salem tried to transition the failed lariat into a belly-to-back suplex, looking to wrap the #1 Contender up from behind after ducking the extended arm to heave Hiro halfway across the ring!
PostPosted: Thu Apr 03, 2014 11:00 pm

Oh god! The German! The Ethnic Enigma is lifted up from behind, and released, indeed landing neck and back first on the mat about half the ring away! However, the challenger was smart. As he landed, he used the extra momentum to roll out of the ring under the bottom rope, landing on his feet and holding his neck as he trudged to the barricade, breathing heavily. The fans slapped him on the back, and many chants and pops were really becoming prevalent.

Despite the challenger having a almost a forty pound edge in weight over the reigning champion, "The Copperhead" was showing off his strength with the impressive suplex that served to toss Hiro out of the ring and force the #1 Contender to rethink his strategy while recovering by the barricade. Slapping a fist against his chest, Salem raised a hand and roared, a beastly cry of dominance from the face of Bad Blood Wrestling as he stared outward at Hiro with a look of quiet fury. waving his hand, the champ taunted Hiro by motioning for him to come get some, many fans in the audience lending their voices to a "Salem Croft" chant!
PostPosted: Thu Apr 03, 2014 11:09 pm

Hiro he cocked a slight smirk once more, ditching his injury for a moment and pulling himself on to the apron, keeping his eyes on Salem the whole time. He slowly re-entered the ring, his eyes still glued to the Copperhead. As he re-entered the ring, Hiro threw out his arms, walking towards the champion, looking to lock up!

Salem nodded his head with a mirrored grin as Hiro entered the ring and approached with his hands raised, Salem stepping forward to meet the man for what looked to be a collar-and-elbow tie up. But instead, Salem would throw a foot forward, trying to aim a hard jab of his toe up into the soft spot underneath Hiro's ribs - taking advantage of his mentor's classic fake-out with one of his own!
