Bloodphasers are Vampires that feed on the blood of both humans and vampires. Their origin starts with the VHA as the first were once test subjects for a vaccine to reverse the effects of vampirism and thus, return vampires that were once human, back into humans. They exhibit many similar powers of vampires, however, they are quite different. Bloodphasers cannot use the blood capsules that vampires used to replace the need for blood. They also age faster, living up to the age of three hundred at the oldest. They also need to feed multiple times per day. Their skin, though it may not look different, feels tough like coarse leather. Their jaws can unhinge, similar in style to the Mandibles of an insect. And, they have twelve fangs, three in the top right, top left, bottom right, and bottom left of their jaws, though, they can keep this hidden relatively easily. Mirrors will reveal their true appearances.

The first two years as a bloodphaser are the most destructive as they are completely feral. The next ten to twenty years, they are able to function somewhat normally, though, the scent of blood chisels away at their willpower swiftly and they tend to have 'episodes' every now and then. After this period, their hunting instinct becomes more and more pronounced and they veer towards feral tendencies, though, they are still aware and, if they have the willpower, can maintain some base levels of cognitive thought processes and control, though, they constantly fight with the baser instincts to hunt, kill, and feed.
