Stigtyr yawned and stretched, just coming to the brink of consciousness out of deep sleep. The small den he shared with his mother and siblings was warm, and the young cub sighed happily as he snuggled against his siblings. It was most likely close to morning. Stigtyr was developing a habit of waking up just before the sun, a habit that was sure to serve him well in adulthood. But for the time being, for a cub that didn't have to worry about much else besides sleeping and playing, it was a little bit of a nuisance. Well, most cubs, anyways. Their mother had started waking them up to teach them how to fight. Stigtyr...Stigtyr wasn't doing to well at that. Granted, they had only just started, but even still. Dagny and Tollak seemed to be grasping the concept much better than he was. Stig just wanted to make Mother happy, but it appeared as if the only way to do that was to get better at fighting. The young cub scowled and rolled over, paw dangling close to someone else's face. He didn't want to be thinking about those sort of things this early in the morning. All he wanted to do was drift off again for a another few minutes before they were all nudged awake.
Light Atago Okay guys! Here it is! I was hoping to wait for their certs to drop, but it doesn't seem like that's gonna happen soon. So!

Dagny was dreaming a truly awesome dream- she had climbed up to the top of a steep rocky cliff, but in the middle of a raging storm! Her dream-muscles were aching, but she had made it and was pretty steady on her feet for what she had just done. She let out a roar, which came out mightier than any she could muster in the waking world just yet. It was marvelous- she and the thunder roaring together! Though, there was a leaf on the wind that kept tickling her whiskers.
It would not stop! She started batting angrily at it in her dream before she snapped awake, only to find that the troublesome leaf was not a leaf at all, though it was green…
"Stigtyrrrrr" Dagny moaned as her eyes began to clear, slowly. "Your paw, it's annoying," she said as she gave it a solid clawless bat to get it out of the way. Phantom leaf-paw out of the picture, she tried to go back to her dream. It didn't take long for the young lioness to realize that she was awake, and was going to stay that way. She glanced around at her family to see if anyone else was done with their dreams. Unlike her new nuisances around her, Inari was having no dreams, but slept lightly. Though, some sounds pranced at the edge of her subconscious, the sounds made by her cubs were getting louder. Inari couldn't believe that the scoundrel she had had a fun night with had not stepped forward to at least help keep track of the trio. She wouldn't complain about it, but she knew that her work was cut out for her in more ways than were normal for a new mother. She not only had to ensure the cubs' survival, but train them to be at least capable of holding their own in a fight. She was not going to be that lioness like her mother had been to her. Even Dagny would be pushed as hard as the boys- and so far all showed promise, even if it was to a varying degree.
Inari shifted a little, starting to pay attention to the movement of the cubs, but her mind was waking up. What would the rascals do if they thought she was asleep…?Kaliforneum Certs can take a while, but you can RP anytime after you've gained ownership. :3

What they would do, or more precisely what Tollak would do is get up and "tour" the den. And then outside the den. And then inside the den, again. By now Tollak had paced around seven times and he had grown tired of being up before everybody else. So, he curled up next to his siblings again and shut his eyes in an attempt to sleep. He was hungry, and he only grew more hungry the longer everybody was still asleep! He was also restless, reason one for his constant movement. Tollak was eager to move his muscles and get into action, right now! But noo, he had to wait. And wait. And wait some more. And still wait. "Aruggh." He moaned in his boredom and rolled overtop of one of his siblings in hope of waking them up. He stared at the ceiling of their den on his back, blowing on one of the stray reddish brown hairs dangling in his face. He had gotten up after a frightful nightmare plagued his mind. But it was still very early when he had jolted awake, and by then everyone was sleeping soundly.
His stomach growled. Now he was just impatient.
Tollak sighed again, raising his head up so he could stare outside before adverting his attention to Stigtyr's dark green tail. One flick, two flicks, three flicks- he pounced! "Ah ha!" He cried upon catching it. Then a grin worked it's way onto his face and Tollak teasingly moved his face closer to Stig's ear. "I got your tail~" He whispered playfully.

Stigtyr frowned and batted at Tollak. He could feel Dagny getting up, and Tollak sure as thunder wasn't going to be drifting back off into sleep anytime soon. Early riser or not, Stig hated being woken up before he wanted to actually get up. "Stop it Tollak. Lemme alone." He groaned grumpily, cracking his steel blue eyes open to glare at his brother. Tollak was always doing things like that, just to annoy him. If Stigtyr could, he'd tackle Tollak and bite his ears off. But the young cub could barely manage to tackle his sister. Doing so to his brother was an impossible feat. Now fully awake, Stigtyr wrenched his tail away from Tollak and sat up, pouting. He glanced over to see that his mother seemed to still be asleep. Odd. She was usually up before they were. Stigtyr moved into a stretch, tiny needle-like claws scraping at the den floor. All three of the cubs were awake, and their mother was asleep. Stigtyr frowned, wondering if they should wait for her to get up or if someone should go wake her up.

Why had the lioness had to be born with two brothers? Perhaps someday she would be grateful for them, but it certainly wouldn't be this morning. For the most part, their bickering amongst themselves tended to annoy her. The pair of them also got the three of them in trouble with mom, for whatever reason Dagny often got dragged into the trouble they caused. For not keeping them in line better, maybe? One way or another, it was crap.
"You guys!" she said in a hissed whisper. "Mom's still asleep," she continued, whether anyone was listening to her or not. "Don't you think she'll be mad if we wake her up?" Between Tollak and Stigtyr, she wasn't sure who had the greater potential for waking their mother, but she knew, at least, that it wasn't going to be her.Inari had to keep herself in line. Her cubs, when left alone… bickered. Should she have expected any different? They were only cubs, after all. The real question at this point, to her, was how long she should go on with this ruse. While she was curious to see what they would do with themselves, she also knew that they had a lot to do. A day without training these three, even a little, was a complete waste. Nothing was worse than a wasted day with her cubs. While she was not the soft doting mother that so many others were, Inari did care for her cubs deeply. She just had a tendency to show it different. She wasn't sure how lionesses parented here in these lands, but she did know that in the roguelands, they did a disservice to their cubs by coddling and being overprotective. A true kindness for a litter of cubs would be to teach them early how best to be self-reliant.
And with that thought in mind, Inari started to rise. She stretched for a moment before she opened her eyes, keeping a straight look on her face. Turning to her cubs, she waited to see if any of them in particular had anything to say before she would say good morning. And her plans for the family for the day.

Tollak cocked a yellow eye at his sister as she (in his mind) pleaded Stig and him to stop being so noisy. "I don't need to listen to you." He then proceeded to lift his head high up into the air and snort. As if he was expecting that Dagny should know better than to mess with him. It was all for the sake of playing with her, and he did not hesitate in issuing his insults. Tollak was certain his 'you are below me' voice would no doubt get him pinned to floor and allow the fighting to begin. He might have been strong, but Dagny was fast. So fast that he didn't mind admitting it. He'd have to be a rock wall in order to not land on his face when he fought with her. As for Stig, well... He wasn't exactly the most iron-blooded lion there was.
His ear flicked and Tollak twisted his face to Inari as she stood. He paused briefly to think of what to say before finally deciding on, "good morning mother."
