It was a quiet walk to his dorm room, he didn't know what exactly to say. It was weird, he was used to be surrounded by guy and girls pretending to be tom boys. They were usually a noisy bunch and he didn't really have to talk that much to get into the conversation. This was different. This was something totally new to him. He was going to be lying to everyone sooner or later, maybe not about his life, but the reason why he was here. Some may feel hurt, he wasn't sure how Kali would feel. He shouldn't care though, he was being honest, but she was needed for his cover. Though, how could he be a friend to her before he had to stab her in the back. No one had any reasons to suspect him of anything, he was just a normal guy who lost his parents in an accident.
When they got to the dorm, he wasn't surprised or anything, it looked normal. But when he opened the door, he found all his stuff and his painting supplies. He eyed them for a second and turned back to Kali, "Thank Kali, I really appreciate what you've done." John smiled kindly, picking up his art supplies.

((Kali enters from the Hallway)) ⇢ frøm thε αshεs » A FIRE SHALL BEWOKEN « Kali peered through the door to John's room and noticed all of his things. It was quite a bit more than what she had arrived with and even that stuff, she didn't have anymore. Her clothes were thrown away from being covered in blood, from before her encounter with Logan and Scott. Her knives, she had recently given to Zero, because she had used one to scare the life out of another student. Compared to John's room, hers was vacant.
She watched John pick up the art supplies. Things she had never seen. She knew what paint was, but paint came in cans. Tin cans. This paint looked different than the paint that she had used to paint walls back at the facility. Manual labor, they gave her, hoping to erase her wild streak.
She smiled at the thought of causing trouble where she came from. Then, her thoughts returned. "What's all that for," she asked as she studied the things in John's hands. It looked really interesting. She wondered if he meant to redecorate his walls. She wondered what anyone would do with it. She had seen paintings and artwork before, but she never watched anyone make it. Someone must have. Just as she never watched anyone write a book. She couldn't understand why anyone want to write a book. She couldn't understand fiction. But there was always some feeling she liked, when she looked at art. Was that what John did?
Kali stood in the doorway, having not been invited into the room. If he wanted her to leave, she would leave. She waited for his answer.
