Elizabeth snarled at a small rat as it scurried past her. She listened as a thunderstorm went on outside, thinking to herself how shoddily put together it was. Someone wasn't using there magic very well. Or maybe she was judging too hard. Either way, it could be fixed.
Queen Hallow sat upon her thrown, creating small sparks of colored light with her hand, and throwing it at spiders and their webs. This caused the spiders to shrivel, and the webs to sparkle. Then her name echoed through the small brick building, which had been cleaned considerably. Elizabeth chuckled slightly, knowing already who it was. "Yes, Arashi?" The queens voice was just a whisper, but traveled to the far side of the building, where the Hallowitch who created storms stood. "I see you brought treats." She couldn't see them, but she could smell the sweet pastries.

Elizabeth smirked. "Arashi, lighten up!" She chuckled slightly. "Hmm.. it does indeed seem selfish." She emphasized the word selfish. "But I indeed am also selfish, and I like magic." She thought for a moment, swirling the air with her want, a sparkly dust in the moving air. Elizabeth sighed dramatically. "Fine." The queen dragged out the word, as if it took all of her energy to say. "I guess I could help you. But you will have to help me as well." Elizabeth looked at Arashis face, waiting for eye contact to be made. She wanted to be some what formal with her new apprentice. "I guess you can stay here and help with this place." Elizabeth looked around. It was still sort of a dump, but she loved it greatly. "It could use some lightening up." The queen though for a second, listening to the storm outside. "And this-" the rain pounded harder as she spoke- "needs to stop." And with that, the bad weather was gone, the moon shining in the sky. "It could use some work."

The queen waved her hand, dismissing the little follower. Elizabeth grimaced as a few good faes came in to her sight. She growled slightly, but let it go. When Arashi escorted her to a small tent, the queen was confused yet impressed. She then sat down and surveyed the action. From the outside, the building looked like a regular abandoned place, rusty, worn bricks. But Elizabeth used her magic to see the activities going on inside. She could've done it herself, faster too, but this was a test. A test for Arashi. And the results of the queens laziness. Elizabeth played with a few spiders, making some blow up. She also looked up at the sky, moving the stars around and changing their colors. All the while she ate the treats that Arashi had brought and watched the reconstruction. It was almost morning by the time the young apprentice brought her back into the building. Elizabeth was impressed, indeed. "Ah, well done, but you did not do this alone." She looked upon the far side of the building, where her thrown stood. She noticed that it had not changed, and she was glad for that. The thrown was Elizabeths to change, and that she did. With the wave of her wand, the ratty chair of bones turned into that of spidersilk, covering polished bones, and some fur sat on the headrest. A white goblet with black veins was nestled into the armrest. An altar sat to the right of her thrown. "Now that is how you use magic," the queen stated proudly.

Elizabeth smiled. "Well, Arashi, find a corner. I might need you in the mere hours of daylight." She chuckled to herself. "I am definitely not a morning person." The queen looked up at the other girl. "Feel free to make yourself a little den, or whatever it is people sleep in these days." Elizabeth slipped out of her throne and slowly walked to one of the walls. She tapped on a brick a few times, waved her hand, then stepped back as the wall shifted. The bricks groaned as Elizabeth moved past, torches lighting with every step she took. The queen led Arashi down a narrow hallway, and then into a room with several plush beds. One giant one stood at the far end, a gold and red curtain hanging from the four posters. "Ah, here we are. Arashi, this is the room I sleep in. I guess you can take your pick. I was expecting more of us to come." She sighed and began walking to her bed. "Hmm could you bring me something to drink?" Elizabeth ran a hand over her throat. "I'm parched."
